After trending the #WeLoveMaheshBabu hashtag nationally and lambasting the popular national media house Indian Express for publishing a derogatory article titled Floputsavam soon after Brahmotsavam’s release, scores of Superstar Mahesh Babu fans today met the Indian Express authorities at the Begumpet office premises, demanding an apology.
Senior Mahesh fans like Rambabu, Khader and many young fans held talks with the IE authorities and revealed that Indian Express has agreed to remove the controversial article from its website and has also agreed to feature a special article on the film in its tomorrow’s edition.Considering the anger towards the media house among temper inflated Mahesh fans since the publishing of the article, situation could have gone out control at the office premises today. Apparently, several fans even decided to resort to attacks on the media house building.
However, the senior fans behaved maturely and calmed down the enraged fans to prevent any possible unwanted incidents. The senior fans also said that there is no animosity or ego clashes between the stars of Ghattamaneni, Mega and Nandamuri families and that the social media fan wars are only due to some narrow-minded individuals.
Super star goes unrecognized
It is a common practice that whenever Super star film actors make a public appearance, the crowds go crazy. When it is the level of Bollywood Baadshah Shahrukh Khan, the situation gets even more worse as the hero has huge popularity all over the world.
But during his return from London some thing unusual happened as the star hero was completely unrecognized by everyone at the train station in central London. Even though SRK was with his wife, not even a single person paid head and failed to recognize the star.
Generally, this never happens as SRK is hugely popular all over London. SRK was there for his son’s graduation along with his wife Gauri Khan. What surprised many is that SRK himself was seen carrying his own luggage to the car. These picture have gone viral and are creating a good buzz in the social media.
One For Telangana, None For AP
In January this year, Union Minister for Urban Development M Venkaiah Naidu announced the first 20 winners of Indian cities which will be made into smart cities on fast track with the central government’s funds. While AP’s Vizag and Kakinada made it to the first round, Telangana was disappointed with no city being selected.
Today, Venkaiah Naidu released the second list of fast track smart cities which has 13 winners. The list includes cities like Lucknow, Warangal, Dharamsala, Chandigarh, Raipur, New Town Kolkata, Bhagalpur, Panaji, Port Blair, Imphal, Ranchi, Agartala and Faridabad.
This time, it’s Andhra Pradesh’s turn to face the setback as the centre left Tirupati out of the smart cities list, further hinting at the growing distance between the Modi-led government and Andhra Pradesh.
The Smart City Mission will see 100 Indian cities developed as smart cities by 2019-20 with the centre providing financial support to the tune of Rs 48,000 crore over 5 years. Water and power supply, sanitation and solid waste management systems, efficient urban mobility and public transportation, IT connectivity, e-governance and citizen participation are some of the highlights of the smart city project.
Hero Hurt with Samantha’s Statement?
Samantha’s statement apparently did not gone well with her beau, young hero. The actor is said to be unhappy on Sam’s public statement as he is yet to inform his parents and get an approval. Although Sam hasn’t revealed his name officially, but gossip mongers are speculating the hero’s name.
Also this said to have become talking point in film fraternity and the actor apparently bombarded with calls. The actor is reportedly a bit embarrassed with this sudden and unexpected attention.
It needs to be seen how the duo is going to handle their issue now on wards. It may be recalled that Samantha said that she is seeing someone from the industry and would tie the knot with him soon and get settle down. She further said that the actor and groom-to-be has no issues with Sam continuing acting in films.
