Strange are the ways of Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu. He appears to be a man of confusion; but the fact is that he is very expert in confusing people, including media persons.Naidu, who met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday with a wish list of several demands, addressed a press conference in Delhi later in the evening.

Naturally, the question of granting or not granting of special category status to AP has come up for discussion.When a reported raised this issue, Naidu shot back with a series of counter questions: “What have the states which already have got special category status gained more than what the other states have got? In any case, the subsidies being given by the Centre to such states will come to an end by March 31, 2017. What will be our fate, if the Centre gives only special status to AP and does not give financial package? Which Chief Minister had asked for special status to any State after the 14th financial commission gave its report?”

The reporters got confused and wondered whether Naidu did not ask for special status at all. But within a minute, Naidu changed his tune. He said he had told the Prime Minister that AP would not recover from financial crisis unless it got the special status.“BJP demanded special status to AP for 10 years. And the Prime Minister, too, made a similar promise during his election speech in Tirupati. So, they have to stand by their words,” he said.So, what does Naidu want to convey? Does he want special status to AP or not? Or will he be happy to get special package from Centre?

Telangana connect for A..Aa

Few Telangana fans often refer Nithin as Telangana Megastar as he is the only star hero with Telangana nativity. Now Nithin’s next film is being planned for June 2nd release which happens to be Telangana formation day. It is interesting to see the makers have chosen Thursday release for the film which reveals their confidence on the film’s output.

The movie was initially planned for February and was later pushed to May. But now is releasing in June. The makers will very soon begin their promotions. The makers will announce their release plan this Sunday and they will be placing the film for Censor the next week. There is a good hype about the film.

Samantha and Anupama Parameshwaran are the heroines. Nithin will be seen as Anand Vihari while Samantha will be Anasuya Ramalingam in the film. Trivikram’s close friends, Harika and Haasini creations is producing this youthful entertainer. They previously produced Trivikram’s Julayi and S/O Satyamurthy.

Nirmala Disappointed With Naidu

Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has virtually dampened the spirits of Union Minister Nirmala Sitaraman, who is desperately seeking renomination to Rajya Sabha from Andhra Pradesh.Nirmala met Naidu before and after he had met the Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi on Tuesday. The TDP chief promised her to take up the issue of her renomination with the Prime Minister, but after the meeting was over, Naidu told Nirmala that the issue of Rajya Sabha elections did not come up for discussion at all.

“So far, we have not decided to give one Rajya Sabha seat to the BJP. And there is no such proposal from the BJP either. So, I have not raised the issue of RS elections with Modi at all. As of now, the TDP will contest all the three seats,” Naidu said.

Nirmala’s husband and Naidu’s media advisor Parakala Prabhakar is learnt to have done lobbying with Naidu for accommodating her in the RS list. But, Naidu told him that if at all the TDP wants to give the RS seat to the BJP, the chance would be given to his close pal M Venkaiah Naidu but not Nirmala. So, poor Nirmala and her hubby are disappointed!

Allu Sirish is committed to do a film in the direction of a new comer, MVN Reddy for his next project. The actor confirmed that the movie will have a tinge of period film. The movie got launched recently and the regular shooting will begin next month. DS Rao on his Shailendra Productions will be bankrolling the project. The makers will shoot non-stop till completion and will be looking at year-end release. On the other side, Allu Sirish’s other project, Srirasthu Subhamasthu is also gearing up for release.

The movie shooting is complete recently and the post production works are going on at brisk pace. Allu Aravind is looking at right time for the movie release as they do not want a solo release with out any competition. Natural Star Nani for some reason has this sentiment of Nandamuri Balakrishna. He danced for the chartbuster song of Dhanchave Menatha Koothura from Mangamma Gari Manavadu in his film, Ride. In his last film, Krishna Gadi Veera Prema Gadha, the actor is seen as a diehard fan of Balakrishna.

Now even his next film, also got a connection to Balakrishna. The makers of his next, Gentleman is being planned for release on June 10th and it happens to be the Birthday of the Nandamuri Lion. The movie had its First Look Teaser launch few days ago. The movie comes with a caption ‘Hero or a Villain?’ which keeps guessing about his character in the film.

Surabhi and Niveda Thomas are romancing Nani in this film touted to be a romantic comedy. Siva Lenka Prasad who previously produced films like Aditya 369, Vamsanikokadu and Mithrudu is producing the film under his Sri Devi Movies Banner. Supreme Hero Sai Dharam Tej’s latest offering, Supreme is going on well at the box office in the second week also. The movie is already inching towards being the biggest hit in the actor’s career. Until now, Subrahmanyam for Sale is the biggest hit in the actor’s career. Supreme already crossed the full run collections of Subrahmanyam for Sale in Nizam, West, Krishna, Uttarandhra regions.

By coming Sunday, the movie will cross the full run shares of Subrahmanyam for Sale in Nellore, East, and Ceeded. The movie has got average talk from the release day but did struck chord with mass audience. The movie is doing well in B,C centers. Producer, Dil Raju promoted the film extensively and that helped the film big time.

It has to be seen if the movie can sustain at the box office after the release of Brahmotsavam this Friday. Given that, they are of different genres, Supreme still managed to sustain its hold with masses, the makers hope. Summer holidays advantage will help the movie to a big extent.

Young Tiger NTR’s Janatha Garage is progressing at brisk pace. The movie will be dubbed in Tamil and Malayalam as well and is likely to get simultaneous release there as well. The makers are planning to use ‘Janatha Garage’ as the title for all the versions. They have registered the title with respective film chambers.

The makers have decided to release the first look poster of the film at 6PM on 19th. This is to ensure all Newspapers coming out on 20th to carry the poster on NTR’s Birthday on 20th. The first look teaser will see light on 28th as Legend NTR Jayanthi Special. So, two treats for fans in this month.

Non-stop schedules are planned for the film so that the entire shooting will be completed by mid July. They are planning to release the movie on August 12th, 2016. The release date works in the movie’s favour as there is a long weekend holiday due to Independence day holiday on Monday.

Second Gabbar Singh connect for Pawan Kalyan’s next

Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s next under the direction of Kushi and Puli director, SJ Suryah will start rolling from June 10th in Pollachi. Interestingly, Gabbar Singh was also extensively shot in Pollachi. This is the second Gabbar Singh connect for the film after selecting Gabbar Singh heroine Shruti Haasan.

We are said that the pre-production works of the film are in final stages. The makers confirmed that it is a love story of a factionist. Husharu is the title in rumours for this new project. And then there are rumours that the movie is also loosely based on Ajith’s Tamil blockbuster film, Veeram. Powerstar was seen in a white Lungi and with grey hair at the launch event. It was very similar to Ajith’s in Veeram.

S.J Suryah along with writer Akula Siva have been working on the story since the last 4 months, constantly discussing and sharing the progress with Pawan Kalyan. Anup Rubens who is composing the music working closely with the Director has already composed two songs. Nandamuri fans are counting hours and minutes before the release of the First Look Poster of Young Tiger NTR’s Janatha Garage releasing tomorrow on the occasion of the actor’s Birthday. Now the new surprise from the team is that there will be one more poster releasing from the film. However the poster is that of Malayalam Superstar Mohanlal.

Mohanlal’s Birthday is on 21st of this month and the poster will be released on that day. There is also buzz that the makers are planning to release the First Look Teaser of the film on 28th as Annagari Birthday Special. Non-stop schedules are planned for the film so that the entire shooting will be completed by mid July.

They are planning to release the movie on August 12th, 2016. The release date works in the movie’s favour as there is a long weekend holiday due to Independence day holiday on Monday. Mytri Film Makers who turned producers with Srimanthudu will be producing this film as well. Yerineni Naveen, Yalamanchili Ravi Shankar (Thammudu) and CVM (Mohan) are the producers. Music Devil, Devi Sri Prasad will be composing music as Koratala’s previous films – Mirchi and Srimanthudu.
