Ram Charan Not To Take Sides
In the ongoing sly war between Pawan Kalyan and Allu Arjun, Ram Charan doesn’t want to take sides. He is close to both Pawan Kalyan and his buddy Bunny but he doesn’t want to respond on the issue unnecessarily.Earlier Ram Charan used to respond on everything if some one comments against their family members but he is a changed person now. Moreover, the controversy pertains to his babai and his brother-in-law. Hence he wants to keep mum.
Ram Charan’s career is now not that rosy and he doesn’t want to any controversies further.On the other hand, Allu Arjun who has returned to Hyderabad from short vacation is also looking for the controversy die naturally. He doesn’t want to escalate it further by responding either on Facebook or Twitter.
Yet, sources say the controversy has raked up lot of uneasiness among mega family members.
Naidu Sold Away Heritage?
If reports doing rounds in some blogs are to be believed, Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has sold away his family company Heritage Group to renowned ITC group for a whopping amount. Though there is no confirmation from either side, rumours are afloat in corporate circles that Naidu had sold Heritage group to ITC. May be, the deal is still in the finalisation stages.
While the net worth of the company, which has nearly 275 stores, is said to be around Rs 1200 crore, the deal was struck for more than 30 times of the value, say the reports.Apparently, the decision was taken with Naidu and his son Lokesh being busy with full-time politics and Naidu’s wife Bhuvaneshwari is feeling too tired to handle the business.
On the other hand, their daughter-in-law Brahmani is busy taking care of NTR Memorial Trust activities. So, the family wants to get out of the business activity and focus on public service!
Is KTR’s Big News A Disappointment?
There is a popular old Telugu film song: “…. Thondara padi oka koyila munde koosindi..” (A cuckoo has cooed much before the season has arrived). This seems to be applicable to Telangana Information Technology Minister K T Rama Rao.On Tuesday, he made an interesting comment on twitter that he has a big news to share; but he wants to keep it a suspense till Thursday. Though there were various speculations on what that good news could be; finally, the guess that everybody endorsed was that computer giant Apple is going to set up its first iOS App design and Development Centre in Hyderabad.
If it materialises, it is really big news for the people of Telangana. But unfortunately, on Wednesday, Apple has announced that its first iOS App Design and Development Centre will be set up in Bengaluru. Apple CEO Tim Cook who is visiting India apparently made this announcement in Mumbai in the afternoon. “With the opening of this new facility in Bengaluru, we are giving developers access to tools which will help them create innovative apps for customers around the world,” he said in a statement.
The iOS App Design and Development Accelerator is expected to open in early 2017. Apple’s new development centre is an “initiative to support engineering talent and accelerate growth in India’s iOS developer community,” says the company.Apparently, Apple has decided to open an innovation centre and mapping centre in Hyderabad. But that is an old announcement and there is no surprise element in that.

A Aa Locked For Telangana Formation Day
Director Trivikram’s Nithin and Samantha starrer “A Aa” has finally confirmed its release date. With “Brahmotsavam” releasing this Friday, the movie will hit the theatres two weeks later. Generally Fridays are considered for release but the makers of “A Aa” have chosen Thursday, June 2nd, 2016 as its release date as 2nd June is a holiday in Telangana as the state was formed on that day.
“A Aa” was to release for 6th May but it was postponed to May 20th to give space to the release of Suriya’s “24” and then Mahesh Babu confirmed his “Brahmotsavam” on 20th May, so the movie was postponed again.Since Nithin doesn’t want to compete with those big movies and Trivikram has special bonding with Suriya and Mahesh Babu, the movie was postponed twice.
Although some distributors asked the makers to release the movie towards the end of June, they didn’t want to lose out Summer Holidays.
Telangana Congress Reads KCR Mind!
It looks like the Telangana Congress party has read the mind of TRS president and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s mind and is getting battle-ready.The executive committee of the Telangana Congress Committee which had a lengthy discussion on Tuesday is learnt to have decided to finalise the party candidates for the next Assembly elections well in advance.
The reason: the party leadership firmly believes that KCR would go in for early elections to the Assembly, apparently to surprise the Opposition and make them weak.The TPCC leadership has decided to strengthen the organisation from top to bottom and gear up the party workers for the next elections.
As per the suggestions given by master strategist Prashant Kishore, the TPCC is planning to create a 1.5 lakh strong party brigade that would make extensive tour of all the constituencies to strengthen the party base.Once the candidates are ready, they would be given all the support to launch the campaign well in advance, so that whenever KCR announces polls, they would be ready for the battle!
No Special Status, But AP Is A Special State
The words of central BJP leaders looked as rude as they were when they opened up on their unwillingness to declare a special status to Andhra Pradesh according to bifurcation act and it triggered many disturbances in state. TDP was blamed for its inability to bring special status to the state and equally good blame for their alliance with BJP in last elections. Now, AP BJP in-charge Siddharthnath Singh is coming up with new numbers and is challenging for a debate on their fund releases and deeds for AP state.
According to Siddharthnath Singh, AP is being given Rs 22,112 Cr and already a Rs 7000 Cr has been released. Every project in AP is planned to be supervised by concerned central minister twice in a month. Though AP was not given any special status, BJP claims to have decided to allot the package that comes on par with special status.
AP is being considered as ‘Special State’ though the BJP government could not give a special status as promised before elections. Siddharthnath Singh names it as a lack of coordination between TDP and BJP, that can be sorted out easily.
Taapsee Assistance For Lady Boxer
There are many talented people in India. But, poor conditions are dominating their skill. A lady boxer named Likhitha hailing from Hyderabad was looking for a sponsor to raise the funds for her training in order to qualify for the upcoming Rio Olympics.
Actress with good heart Taapsee Pannu who got to know about Likhitha’s struggle from a friend has come forward to help out the poor lady. The starlet has teamed up with an NGO to raise funds to fulfill Lithika’s needs like buying equipment, travel expenditure and other.
It is heard that, Taapsee has already raised a big amount for Lithika. The only thing Lithika needs to do now is work hard to qualify for the Olympics.On the work front, Taapsee’s hands are full with Bollywood films. At present she is doing two Hindi films Pink, Tadka and a Telugu-Hindi bilingual Ghazi.
Pic Talk: Jala Deeksha Or Selfie Deeksha
Besides charging Telangana Govt, YSR Congress president YS Jaganmohan Reddy who is doing Jala Deeksha made strong remarks on Chandrababu Naidu and AP Govt. Nagari MLA RK Roja also came down heavily on Chandrababu Naidu.
Interestingly, some of the young visitors were seen taking selfies with Jagan. While, Jagan owned media is using the pictures (selfies captured by visitors) to promote the Deeksha, others are making fun of it. Some say ‘Is it Jala Deeksha or Selfie Deeksha’. Amusingly, Jagan who posed for the selfies is seen smiling, when being captured.
TDP leader Gali Muddu Krishnama Naidu made satirical remarks saying, Jagan Jala Deeksha is appearing to be cinema shooting. He also fired on Roja for her remarks over Chandrababu. “Chandrababu is pressurizing centre over Palamuru-Rangareddy and Dindi lift irrigation projects. Permission is must for new projects. We are soon going to see Chandrababu Naidu’s Swarnayugam (golden era) part-2,” said he.
