Jagan Seeks CBI Probe Into Defections
New Delhi: A part of the Save Democracy campaign in the capital YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has said that CBI inquiry should begin with the source of money received by the defectors which will bring out the entire corruption charges against Chandrababu Naidu to the fore.”If CBI asks the defected MLAs about the money they received for switching over that will be the starting point of the inquiry. There are 31 scams in the 24 months of TDP coming to power and the total amount amassed by Chandrababu Naidu runs into 1.34 lakh crores,” YS Jagan Mohan Reddy told ANI here on Wednesday.
Of the 31 scams, he explained the Capital city scam which is nothing short of insider trading and breach of oath of secrecy, he said ;’ Chandrababu Naidu has prior knowledge of the location of capital city which was passed on to his coterie who purchased land in large extents. The deals were done between May 2014 after he was sworn-in as Chief Minister and December when the actual location of the capital city was announced.
Even after that, the lands bought by his coterie were put in commercial zones while others were put in agri-zone which has put farmers in a disadvantageous position,’ he said.We have published a book Emperor of Corruption in which we have published 31 scams with evidence including the relevant GOs other document copies, he said.It is with this ill-gotten wealth that the TDP is poaching our turf and democracy is being mocked by TDP which every person should question, he said.
Chandrababu Naidu was caught red-handed in Telangana state while trying to bribe an MLA during the MLC elections and it is an old habit that he has been continuing in Andhra Pradesh as well.The difference of votes polled between our Party and TDP is very thin and the ruling party resorting to buying of MLAs with Rs 20 to Rs 30 crores is undemocratic, he said.
YS Jagan Mohan Reddy along with his party leaders has been meeting national party leaders and explaining the situation in the state and distributing the book Emperor of Corruption to the leaders, government agencies and other concerned, he said.After meeting Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh, Sharad Pawar(NCP), Sitaram Yechury (CPM) and others yesterday, he had met Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley and other national leaders today.
Sardaar’s Buyers At Pawan’s Film Launch
Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s Sardaar Gabbar Singh may have ended up as an epic disaster. But this has not deterred the actor and his close buddy and producer Sharrat Marar from launching their next film immediately. The film’s muhurtham was held this morning at Sharrat Marar’s office.
Interestingly, several distributors who incurred huge losses after Sardaar flopped attended the muhurtham and expressed their woes to Pawan and Sharrat Marar. Apparently, Sharrat has promised them the theatrical rights of Pawan-SJ Surya film at a huge discount up to 25%.
Needless to say, the distributors were happy with Sharrat’s prompt gesture and they returned with high hopes of recovering their losses with Pawan’s latest film. This film is a romantic love story with faction backdrop and we will have to wait and see if the Pawan-SJ Surya combo will repeat their Kushi success.

Pawan’s Next: Love Story of Faction Leader
Move over from Sardaar Gabbar Singh. Pawan Kalyan’s next film with director SJ Suryah is going to be a love story of a faction leader. Apparently, Pawan will play the role of faction leader and that’s why Pawan is said to be sporting a white shirt and Lungi in a casual way.
As reported by us, the yet-to-be-titled film is launched today at Northstar Entertainment office in a low-key affair. SJ Suryah along with writer Akula Siva have worked on the story for the last 4 months, constantly discussing and sharing the progress with Pawan Kalyan. Anup Rubens is composing the music and he has already composed two songs. Soundar Rajan, who has earlier done Billa and recently Bengal Tiger, will crank the camera. Anup Rubens who is composing the music working closely with the Director has already composed two songs.
Pawan retained art director, editor and action choreographers of Sardaar for the new film as well. Gowtham Raju is the film’s editor while Bramha Kadali will be the art director. Fight masters Ram-Lakshman will be composing the fights. Story and dialogues are provided by Akula Siva whereas Screenplay-Direction is by S.J Suryah.

Adah Sharma Bags Bollywood Biggie
Gorgeous diva Adah Sharma made her acting debut with a leading role in the 2008 Hindi language horror film 1920, a box office success. Her maiden Telugu movie Heart Attack co-starring Nithin was an above average grosser. After essaying largely glamorous roles in few Telugu films, Adah Sharma has bagged a biggie in Bollywood.
Adah Sharma is finalized to play female lead opposite Vidyut Jamwal in Commando 2, a sequel of the 2013 action flick. Sonakshi Sinha was the initial choice, but Adah has now officially signed on the dotted line.
The action drama film will require Adah Sharma to perform a lot of stunts and the actress is happy to portray the challenging role. In fact, Adah has been training in gymnastics since she was three. She also has learnt Kalaripayattu. So, it will not be a big challenge for her to essay the role and performing daredevil stunts.
Interim, Adah is waiting for the release of her upcoming Tamil film Idhu Namma Aalu. She is also part of Ranbir Kapoor starrer Hindi film Jagga Jasoos directed by Anurag Basu.
Jagan Jacks Up MLAs’ Price!
It looks like the price of YSR Congress party MLAs defecting to the Telugu Desam Party in Andhra Pradesh has increased steeply, if one were to go by the statements of YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy himself.Initially, when three or four YSR Congress party MLAs defected to the TDP, Jagan made wild allegations that TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu had lured them by offering them Rs 15-20 crore each.
When a few more MLAs ditched him and joined the TDP, the price of these MLAs went up to Rs 25-30 crore, as alleged by Jagan in the local media.And during his Delhi visit on Tuesday, Jagan told media in the national capital that Naidu was purchasing his party MLAs like “cattle in the market” by offering them Rs 40 crore each.
It was surprising as to how the cost had gone up from Rs 25 crore to Rs 40 crore in a span of one week. And, may be, this will prompt more MLAs to jump the fence into the TDP!Notwithstanding the hue and cry of Jagan, the defection of MLAs from his party into the TDP is still continuing. Indications are that another 5-6 MLAs are in the queue to take a plunge into the ruling party.

New York: Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra, a star of “Quantico” – an American TV series on fighting terror – has slammed Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump’s call to ban Muslim immigrants from the US.Priyanka shared her views about the battle against extremism, which has come up repeatedly in the 2016 presidential race, at the TIME 100 gala on Tuesday night here, reports time.com.

You Are Not So Naive, Mr Mysoora!
Strange are the ways of these politicians. They change political parties so fast like changing their shirts and blame the party that has given them shelter all these days.The classic example is former MP M V Mysoora Reddy, who had resigned from YSR Congress party on Wednesday, after enjoying the post of party’s political affairs committee member.
He told media that he had not joined the YSR Congress party wholeheartedly, but was forcibly admitted into the party.“I was invited for a breakfast meeting with Jaganmohan Reddy. Suddenly, he covered me with his party khanduwa (upper cloth). I had no way but to join the YSR Congress party,” he said.
Well, people are not so fools to believe Mysoora’s statement; nor do they think he is so innocent to be forcibly admitted into a political party.Everybody knows how Mysoora ditched the Telugu Desam Party and joined the YSR Congress party only after he was denied the Rajya Sabha berth for the second time.Was he not aware of Jagan’s attitude when he had contested against him in Kadapa by-elections in 2011?
Mysoora is welcome to quit the YSR Congress party if he felt he was losing importance there. But it was atrocious on his part to say that he was forcibly admitted into the Jagan party. Now, it is anybody’s guess as to which party he would join in the coming days!
