Adivi Sesh, Adah Sharma and Anasuya Bharadwaj starrer Kshanam made of shoe-string budget of Rs 1.1 crore was a big hit. The suspense thriller film directed by debutante Ravikanth Perepu will soon be remade in Hindi. Hyderabad lady Tabu is all set to step into the shoes of Anasuya to portray the cop role.

In fact, Tabu was the original choice for the role in Telugu version too. However, when things didn’t work out, the makers roped in Anasuya. Some changes will be made to the script to suit the sensibilities of the Hindi audiences. Tabu will have more screen time than Anasuya’s character in the Telugu version.

Last year, Tabu played the role of a feisty cop in Drishyam and she was lauded for her emotional acting. Now, she is playing similar kind of role in Kshanam remake.Buzz is that, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan will reprise Adivi Sesh in Hindi version, whereas Nawazuddin Siddiqui will be seen in the role of the inspector essayed by Satyam Rajesh in the original.

Krishna Vamsi who is struggling in his career, finally managed an average result with Govindhudu Andari Vaadele. After that project, he worked some time on Rudraksha and then on the script of Balakrishna’s 100th film, but both the films did not materialize.

And now he is going to team up with young hero, Sundeep Kishan. The movie is named ‘Nakshatram’. The movie had its launch this morning at Filmnagar Temple in Hyderabad and the regular shooting of the film will begin from today itself.

Nakshatram is being produced by Sri Chakra Media in association with K.Srinivasulu of Butta Bomma Creations, S.Venugopal and Sajju of Win win win creations.

Names like Kajal Aggarwal and Lavanya Tripati are doing rounds about the heroines in the film, but makers did not announce the details of the other cast and crew in the film. Krishna Vamsi on this occasion also revealed that Nakshatram is the story of an youngster who aspires to become a police.

Mahesh Babu, Jr NTR and Ram Charan are working for their respective films, despite the scorching heat. Since Mahesh’s Brahmotsavam release date is nearing, the film unit has no option but to continue the shooting. The makers of Janatha Garage and Dhruva (Thani Oruvan) have locked release dates of their films, so they are not willing to disrupt shooting schedules.

However, director SS Rajamouli and his producers of Baahubali franchise have decided to take 45 days long break as shooting has become unfeasible in the overheating conditions. That means the shooting of Baahubali: The Conclusion will be halted for one and half month days.

Currently, Baahubali 2 shooting is happening at RFC in Hyderabad. Scenes involving Prabhas and Anushka are being filmed. The ongoing schedule will come to end by the month end. Holidays for the film unit start from May 1st and end on June 15th.

It is heard that, Prabhas is planning summer vacation in US, while his director Rajamouli is taking his family to Australia.Sources say that, there will be no change in the release date, despite the long break. Meanwhile, Baahubali 2 will arrive to theaters on April 14th, 2017.

Young hero Naga Chaitanya’s Sahasame Swasaga Sagipo shooting has been completed. The makers are planning to release the film’s audio soon. However, they are waiting for music director AR Rahman’s date. If things go well, SSS audio will be launched in first or second week of May.

The ace composer Rahman is a busy technician with handful projects. Due to hectic schedules, he is rarely signing south films. Chaitu is lucky enough getting chance to work with the Oscar Award winning composer Rahman.

Billed to be a romantic thriller, Sahasame Swasaga Sagipo is likely to release in May end or in June. The film is directed and co-produced by Gautham Vasudev Menon who provided first break for Chaitu with Ye Maaya Chesave. Star writer Kona Venkat is the other producer for the flick that has debutante Manjima Mohan in female lead role.

Interim, Naga Chaitanya’s other film Premam, official remake of Malayalam film with same title, is also in last stages and the film is due for release in July. So, Chaitu wil have two releases in short time period.

Recently, veteran actor Mohan Babu said that he is deeply concerned about the sad state of affairs in the present day politics and that he will soon make his re-entry to active politics. Mohan Babu, however, didn’t reveal the party he would be joining in, but said that he will make it official very soon.

While Mohan Babu’s statement did raise several eyebrows, his son and actor Vishnu Manchu said in an interview that he doesn’t want his father to make his political comeback. But, Vishnu didn’t reveal whether he conveyed his views about his father’s grand return to politics.

Vishnu also revealed several facts about his dad as he said that his father listens to reach and every script that he gets since his judgement will be more accurate. The Manchu actor also said that there are a few people in Tollywood who have monopolised the theaters, making it tough for the existence of small films.

Powerstar Pawan Kalyan moved away from his disaster result of Sardaar Gabbar Singh, and started a new project today. Kushi and Puli director SJ Suryah will be directing the film. The muhurath event of the film happened today in Producer Sharath Marrar’s new office in Hyderabad this morning.

Interestingly, 15 years ago on the same day, Pawan Kalyan and SJ Suryah’s blockbuster film, Kushi released and went on to become a landmark film in the actor’s career. Husharu is the title in rumours for this new project.

There are rumours that the film is the sequel to Kushi but is to be officially confirmed. The last film in Pawan Kalyan and SJ Surya combination, Komaram Puli is the biggest disaster movie in Pawan Kalyan’s career.

The movie was directed by SJ Suriya who directed Pawan Kalyan’s blockbuster movie, Kushi and so it released amidst huge expectations and it fell short of every thing. And so fans are little worried about this film.

Supreme Hero Sai Dharam Tej’s Supreme is all set for censor test tomorrow. A slot for the censor screening is booked with the Regional Censor Board in Hyderabad. The movie is being planned for May first week release.

The makers will announce the release date officially after completing the censor. Supreme has the distinction of being sold out completely even before the shooting is complete. Abhishek Picture purchased the negative rights of the film for a fancy amount.

Raashi Khanna is the heroine in the film and she plays a cop in the film. The recently released trailers increased the expectations on the movie. The movie comes with a caption, ‘Don’t Sound Horn’ and will see Sai Dharam Tej playing the role of a cab driver.

Sources say the cab plays an important role in the film. Pataas fame Anil Ravipudi is directing this film. Dil Raju is producing the film on his Sri Venkateswara Creations Banner. Sai Karthik is composing music for the film.
