Babu To Bring JD Back To AP
CBI Joint Director Lakshminarayana, the man who sent shock waves to several corrupt top brass politicians and bureaucrats including YS Jagan in the undivided Andhra Pradesh, will soon play a crucial role in AP capital Amaravati, if the ongoing reports are to be believed.
Apparently, AP CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu is planning to bring back JD Lakshminarayana as the Commissioner of Police to Amaravati on a 3-year deputation until his tenure ends in 2019. Apparently, Chandrababu has already made his decision and an official announcement is due in this regard.
JD Lakshminarayana played a key role in probing YS Jagan and several other co-accused in the disproportionate assets case, which even sent Jagan and his aides to jail. Lakshminarayana was lauded for his fearlessness and forthrightness in performing his duties. After his term came to an end in mid 2014, he was later transferred to Maharashtra as the state’s Additional Director General of Police.
EC Recognizes Janasena, Symbol Not Allotted
After nearly one and a half years since Janasena commander Power Star Pawan Kalyan applied to the Andhra Pradesh state Election Commission for his party’s recognition which will let him contest in civic and legislative polls, the AP EC has finally recognised Janasena as a registered political party.
After Pawan applied for his party’s AP registration on December 10, 2014, the EC sought objections if any from common people. A person named D Krishna from Gajjanapadu village in East Godavari raised a few objections and Janasena party gave its explanation to the EC.
Content with Janasena’s response, the EC opined that there won’t be any legal obstacles for Janasena’s registration and duly completed the process yesterday. However, the EC has so far not allotted any election symbol for Janasena and also told the party officials that they cannot choose whichever symbol they want.
In a consolation, the EC would favour Janasena over independent candidates while allotting the election symbols. Janasena has already been recognized by the Telangana State Election Commission and with the latest recognition in AP, the party has completed its entire registration process and got a national party status.
Trade Talk :: ‘Sarrainodu’ passes ‘Monday Test’ with flying colours
‘Sarrainodu’ featuring Allu Arjun, Catherine Tresa and Rakul Preet Singh started with a low key and now the movie is slowly flourishing. The movie which had a better run on Weekends looked forward towards the ‘Monday Test’. As it is Summer vacation, there has been no drop in theatre occupancy yesterday.
The movie was Jam packed in most of the single screens and multiplexes. Allu Arjun who was upset with the initial scare is now happy. Boyapati Srinu proved his mettle with an entertaining screenplay. Also the good word of mouth has even reached neighbouring states.
The team conducted success meet immediately and Producer Allu Aravind was happy. Rakul Preet and Catherine Tresa also shared their happiness as the movie fetched a huge success. If this same run can continue another week, the movie will easily enter profit zone.
However this is just in India. Overseas collections have taken a dip and it would be hard for the overseas distributors to recover from the losses. The Malayalam version is also slated for a release by this Friday. So Allu Arjun’s ‘Sarrainodu’ has survived midst some drama.
No Love Only Casual Relationship Between Them!
Raj Tharun and Hebbah Patel share great chemistry on screen. They looked like real lovers in their first movie “Kumari 21F” and the movie became sensational hit.Since they have hot chemistry between them, Manchu Vishnu roped them in for his “Eedo Rakam Aado Rakam” and the film also turned out be moderate hit. Now everyone is talking about their off screen chemistry.
But Raj Tharun’s friends deny that he is having a love affair with Hebbah Patel. On the other hand, industry folks say they are seeing each other. They are being spotted frequently together.
Those who know how the industry works say this could be just a casual relationship between them that generally lasts when they work together in couple of movies but definitely not love. Whatever be their status, filmmakers are looking to cash in on their on, off screen hot chemistry.
Sarrainodu Gives Respite To Flop Heroine
Catherine Tresa made debut in Tollywood with Chammak Challo that was released in 2013. Despite starring in some notable films, she failed to score a hit until Sarrainodu. This is the third film for Catherine in Allu Arjun’s combination. They were seen together in Iddarammayilatho and Rudhramadevi prior to Sarrainodu.
Their first two films were average fare, but Sarrainodu is doing phenomenal business especially in the domestic circuit. The collections of Sarrainodu on Monday were pretty strong and the film took off to a bright start on Tuesday too. With no big film to release on this Friday, Sarrainodu has high chances to have a firm hold on the box office for at least a week from now.
Sarrainodu has already surpassed the 30 crore mark worldwide (distributor share) in four days and has high chances to enter into the 50 crore club by the end of its second weekend. Catherine has finally shrugged off the flop heroine tag with Sarrainodu and maybe she could bag few more biggies with this hit to her credit.
