Bollywood beauty Priyanka Chopra will be one of the announcers at the 88th edition of Oscar awards. The actress recently entered Hollywood with Quantico TV series and is also starring in a film titled Bay Watch.

The 88th Oscars will be held on Sunday, February 28, at the Dolby Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center in Hollywood. It is the pinacle of film awards and will be televast live in more than 225 countries.

Back home, the actress was last seen in 2015 hit Bajirao Mastani and she managed to win a Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress. She next stars as a cop in Prakash Jha’s Jai Gangaajal.

SJ Suryah will not be directing Pawan Kalyan in the remake of Ajith’s Vedhalam as said earlier. Pawan Kalyan is contemplating doing the remake but not in SJ Suryah’s direction.

SJ Suryah and Pawan Kalyan will be doing a fresh subject. If Pawan Kalyan gives green signal to Vedhalam remake, it will be in the direction of a youngster. Pawan Kalyan is in Kerala shooting for his Sardaar Gabbar Singh. The movie is being planned for Summer release.

The movie is already creating new records in terms of the film’s pre-release business. We will have to see what will be his next project!

Creative director Sukumar will be introducing Devi Sri Prasad as a hero to Telugu film industry with his next project. Currently the project is in pre-production stage and the shooting will begin very soon.

The other day, Sukumar visited Amalapuram and revealed some interesting details of the film to scribes. The film will be of Konaseema backdrop and will stress on the importance of human emotions and sentiments.

Famous Cinematographer Rathanavelu will be cranking the camera for the movie. DSP, Sukumar and Rathnavelu have worked previously for Aarya, Jagadam, 1-Nenokkadine and Kumari 21F. DSP made his acting debut with a little cameo in Pawan Kalyan’s Attarintiki Daredhi.

Sensational Tamil music directors duo Hiphop Tamizha are making their Telugu debut with Ram Charan’s next, Thani Oruvan remake. They have started the film’s music sittings few days ago in Bengaluru. “A nice place and some productive jamming.

Telugu songs coming out very well #excited #RC10,” they posted in their official Facebook page. The film will have its launch in this month itself. The regular shooting will immediately follow.

Ram Charan’s uncle, Allu Aravind and Senior Producer NV Prasad will be jointly producing the film which is being directed by Surender Reddy. NV Prasad earlier produced Charan’s Racha. Arvind Swamy will be reprising his role from the original for the film.

Ever since the hip beauty Ileana moved away to Bollywood, there have been a lot of rumors about bringing her back with an item song or a heroine role. But the latest update says that Ileana has indirectly triggered an argument between a hero and director.

Ram Charan is getting ready to start his Thani Oruvan remake in Surender Reddy direction and the heroine is not yet finalized. While Reddy is reportedly suggesting to pull Ileana for it, Ram Charan is insisting on keeping her away from this film.

Balakrishna has officially announced that he is all set to do Aditya 999 as his hundredth film. Fans were shocked at Balakrishna’s choice for a landmark film as they believed that Boyapati Srinu will be wielding the megaphone for it. While Singeetam Srinivasarao is busy in giving final touches to Aditya 999, social media is abuzz with the rumors that Balakrishna is likely to do Boyapati’s Godfather ahead of the Sci-Fi sequel.

As per the social media speculations, Boyapati Srinu’s film will be launched on Balakrishna birthday that is on June 10th and will be released for next Pongal. Either of the sides haven’t confirmed or denied these speculations yet but fans are making a lot of noise about it. Young Tiger NTR’s Janatha Garage is not staring on February 10th as said earlier. According to sources, the start date is pushed to February 25th for reasons best known to the makers. The first schedule will be more of Mohanlal’s shoot. Tarak will join the shoot a week later.

The makers are considering Janatha Garage (with a tagline – Ikkada Anni Repairlu Cheyyabadunu) as the title of the film even though they did not announce it officially. They are planning to release the movie on August 12th, 2016.

The release date working in the movie’s favour as there is a long weekend holiday due to Independence day holiday on Monday. Devi Sri Prasad will be composing music as Koratala’s previous films – Mirchi and Srimanthudu.

All the single screen theaters in Hyderabad city will be shutdown for the noon and matinee shows today due to GHMC elections. The government had announced today as holiday to ensure people exercise their vote. The shows will resume only in the evening. However multiplexes are expected to screen all the shows as per the schedule.

Even though the morning and matinee show collections are lost, the evenings will be strong due to holiday effect. This scenario will be a slight loss to Soggade Chinni Nayana which is strong even in the mornings. But the remaining films at the box office will get benefited to some extent.
