Brahmanandam Finally Reacts On Flops
There were times when star comedian Brahmanandam pulled the movie to shore on his shoulders. The present situation is not the same, as there is talk wide spread that Brahmi’s presence itself is a bad omen for film.
Brahmi had an answer for that! Except Soggade Chinni Nayana, no other movie with Brahmanandam in it was seen getting a decent success. Talking about the same, Brahmi mentioned VV Vinayak’s ‘Krishna’ and ‘Adhurs’ were blockbusters with his comedy, but never he took the whole success credit to himself.
Recently, the same director, VV Vinayak offered a good role for him in Akhil too, which was a dud. Brahmi asks how that can rule-out his capability to bring laughs or VV Vinayak’s ability to make films. Justifying the ignorance in comments on his flop sentiment, Brahmi says success and failures cannot be attributed to anyone in a film, but they are part of film life.
Andhra Leader Joins TRS
Recently, TRS minister KTR jokingly said that he will rename TRS as Telugu Rashtra Samithi in Seemandhra region and that he will contest from Bhimavaram. Then, the TRS party went on to issue tickets to 15 Seemandhra candidates to contest in the GHMC polls.
Now, just a couple of days ahead of the GHMC polls, the TRS part got a huge boost as former MLA Chinnam Ramakotaiah from Nuzvid, Krishna district joined TRS in the presence of KTR. This is the first time that a leader of MLA stature from Seemandhra region joined TRS.
Speaking on the occasion, Chinnam Ramakotaiah stated that Seemandhra settlers in Hyderabad have been living peacefully over the past 18 months under TRS’ rule and even urged the Seemandhra settlers and locals to vote for TRS in the GHMC polls and support its continuous efforts towards development of the city.
Expressing his happiness over Ramakotaiah’s joining in the TRS party, KTR said that Ramakotaiah has been a good friend since their stint at the erstwhile Andhra Pradesh assembly as MLAs and also revealed that Ramakotaiah even gave his moral support to the separate Telangana movement.
Chinnam Ramakotaiah earlier served as a TDP MLA during the 2009-2014 tenure and later shifted his loyalties to Congress in the 2014 elections.
Soggade Was For Chiru, Really!
Out of four Sankranthi releases, Nagarjuna starrer Soggade Chinni Nayana is turning out as biggest blockbuster. Although the film’s collections are far lesser than NTR’s Nannaku Prematho, it provided superior profits than any other Pongal outings to producers as well as distributors.
Everyone including several bigwigs in the industry is appreciating Kalyan Krishna for making impressive directorial debut with the family entertainer that is made in rural backdrop. Kalyan is getting full marks for the way he designed Bangar Raju character.
As per a buzz, Kalyan Krishna who is a big fan of Megastar Chiranjeevi wanted to make Soggade Chinni Nayana with his favorite star. Owing to some reasons, he opted to make it with Nagarjuna who also produced the movie under Annapurna Studios Banner.
In an interview, Kalyan Krishna expressed his joy for getting appreciation call from none other than the megastar. Kalyan is also a skilful writer willing to work with the matinee idol.
But, it is still doubtful, whether Chiru will continue doing films after his 151st- Kaththi remake. Interim, Kalyan Krishna was asked to prepare a subject for Akkineni Akhil. If things work out, this movie will be produced by Nagarjuna again!
Deepika Excites Hollywood Hunk
Hollywood star Vin Diesel is all excited to share screen space with ‘Mastani’ Deepika Padukone in ‘XXX: The return of Xander Cage.’ The ‘Fast and Furious’ star said that he always wanted to work with Deepika.
Deepika was to be roped in for Fast and Furious 7, but as things did not fall into right places, the plan was dropped. “I have been dying to work with someone from Bollywood and bridge that gap, and I think there is something very multi-cultural about that, and very exciting.

Senior Actor upset On Anupam Kher’s ‘Padma’
Just after many Bollywood celebrities made it to Padma awards list 2016, veteran actor Kader Khan said that it was good to see that he did not get his name in the list. The actor gave a hint that Padma awards for his colleagues could be the result of flattering the Lutyens’ in Delhi.
Khan said that he did not want the award if they were honouring the people of film industry mentioned in the list of 2016. This year, Rajnikanth, Priyanka Chopra, SS Rajamouli, Udit Narayan, Anupam Kher, Madhur Bhandarkar are among the awardees.
The versatile actor believes that awards are not big things, but the importance of them lies in the people entitled to it. The actor stated that the honesty towards the award has been faded away with selfish motives.
Khan, whose name was proposed by many for the Padma awards, urged the celebs to return from politics as it is not their aim. Khan, who seemed upset with Anupam Kher’s name for Padma Bhushan, asked what did he do except showering praises on Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Hot Anchor’s Hopes On Variety Horror
After earning a huge popularity with the successful TV show Jabardasth, Rashmi dreamt of making a grand comeback to Tollywood with the rustic village comedy Guntur Talkies. However, the film has not seen the light of the day until now.
Now, Rashmi is testing her luck once again with Thanu Vachenanta. Thanu Vachenanta is definitely an interesting genre for Tollywood. As the makers claimed, the film is a zomedy, which means a zombie comedy, where zombies take the centre stage and comedy is derived through the lead actors’ efforts to escape from them.
So far in India, only Saif Ali Khan attempted a zomedy with the unsuccessful Go Goa Gone. Yet another zombie thriller Miruthan starring Tamil star Jayam Ravi is readying for a release very soon. Let’s wait to see if Rashmi’s hopes of setting the silver screen on fire will realize at least this time with this innovative film.
