Watch CM KCR Controversial Comments on CM Chandrababu Naidu | TRS Bahiranga Sabha
Yes, Babu Developed Hyderabad: TRS Kavitha
For years, TRS leaders kept on vehemently refuting TDP’s claims that it was under Chandrababu Naidu’s rule that Hyderabad developed in all sectors. Both TDP’s claims and TRS’ counters have now reached a pinnacle, with the campaigning for GHMC polls coming to an end.
And now, an unexpected surprise comes from TRS MP K Kavitha. In her latest GHMC campaign, the Nizamabad MP said that she acknowledges the then CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu’s role in developing the IT sector in Hyderabad.
However, Kavitha promptly said TRS will not approve Babu’s claims that the entire Hyderabad city was solely developed in his reign.
Kavitha’s comments did stir up a major storm among the TRS cadres, who are opining that the party will lose big in the GHMC polls due to Kavitha approving Babu’s role in changing the face of Hyderabad and thereby giving TDP the winning edge in several areas especially in which educated youths play a crucial role in the final mandate.
Extreme Fanism Burning Pockets
Fans going mad for their favorite hero at various instances is not new. Be it an audio launch, first look or release day, its all the fans hungama and the movie’s ultimate success gives them immense happiness.
Lately, few die-hard fans are turning extremists for their favorite hero’s film record numbers. A star hero’s film collected nearly a hundred thousand dollars in its overseas run and shockingly, more than half of the collections were from a single show filled with fans.
These extremists paid way too high than the original ticket price, only to show a big number in film’s full run collection! It has become more prestigious for star heroes’ fans with number of theatres, overseas collections and even satellite rights of a new movie.
End of the film’s full run, this hard earned money of enthusiast fans goes to distributors and producers, the records stay on a day’s newspaper corner and a debate on Facebook pages for sometime. This sort of extreme fanism and madness sound no different.
Ramarao Garu, A Cop!
After Dictator, Nandamuri Balakrishna is busy listening to scripts. The latest is Pataas director Anil Ravipudi recently met Balayya Babu and narrated a script to him. Quite impressed with the story of police officer, Balayya toying with the idea of doing the film.
It’s a very quirky cop role and going to be out-and-out commercial film. This is not all. The movie is tentatively titled as Ramarao Garu and it’s learnt that it’s a responsible role as the character is named after his veteran dad NT Ramarao.
Balakrishna has immensely liked Anil’s directorial debut Pataas which was a money spinner at Box Office. Also, Balayya liked the teaser of Supreme, Anil’s second directorial. This is what seems to be working in favour of Anil.
If all goes well, Balayya-Anil movie would start sometime after Anil wraps up his present commitment Supreme which is slated for March release. Meanwhile, Balayya is keen to do a sequel for Aditya 369 as his landmark 100th film. To be directed by Singeetam Srinivasa Rao, the movie is tentatively titled as Aditya 999.
A Dream Wedding For Raveena’s Daughter
No one could believe that Raveena Tandon, the Cheez Badi Hain Mast girl, has two grown up daughters and that both of them are happily married. The actress, who was last seen on Telugu screen in the Manchu family’s Pandavulu Pandavulu Thummeda, married off her younger daughter Chhaya on the 25th Jan.
Raveena, who is extremely close to her daughter, played the perfect wedding planner during the wedding, which took place in Goa in a typical Hindu-Catholic style as her son-in-law is based in Goa. Raveena even chose the wedding outfit for her doting daughter and even performed the traditional Punjabi rituals by tying the ‘kalire’ and ‘chooda’ to Chhaya’s bangles.
Apart from playing the perfect host at the wedding and even decorating the venue, Raveena reportedly zeroed in on an exotic foreign location for the newly weds’ honeymoon. Raveena had got her elder adopted daughter Pooja married in 2011 in a similar fashion.
Settlers, Vote TDP For Swarnandhrapradesh
Thanks to Chandrababu’s role in the development of the IT sector and revolutionizing e-governance in Hyderabad, TDP has a strong admiration club in the GHMC region. It won’t be a major surprise if the yellow brigade causes a few upsets to the TRS and other contesting parties in the upcoming elections.
Like in every election, the TDP has been using its trump card – the campaign song “Kadalirandi Telugu Desa Karyakarthalara” which has been inspiring its cadres and voters for several years, even for the GHMC election campaign.
Interestingly, TDP continues to use the lines – “Swarnandhra Ratha Nirmananiki Nadum Katti Randi” in its GHMC campaign.
While there have been several discussions about TDP’s audacity in sloganeering Seemandhra sentiment in the GHMC polls, the party’s cadre is giving them a fitting retort saying that the Seemandhra settlers will vote for TDP for a Swarnandhrapradesh kind of development in Hyderabad and that the Telangana locals will vote for TDP, looking at the way AP and Amaravati are being developed at a jet speed.
Chiranjeevi Is Not A Thief
Megastar Chiranjeevi is getting ready to star in his 150th film, which is going to be official remake of Tamil super hit Kaththi that featured Vijay and directed by AR Murugadoss. Veteran writers Paruchuri brothers are making few changes to the script for the Telugu version to be directed by VV Vinayak.
Chiranjeevi will reportedly play dual roles- one as a communist ideologue and a post-graduate in hydrology, and writers are still working on other character. Actually, in Tamil version, Vijay played a thief in other role. However, we reliably learnt that, Chiranjeevi asked his writers to change the portions of thief, as the role will not suit of his age.
Although Chiranjeevi wanted his 150th film to be wholesome entertainer, he picked Kaththi remake since he liked the subject where protagonist fights against a MNC that cheats villagers into giving their lands for the construction of a factory.
Recently, a writer named Narasimha Rao has accused the makers of Kaththi of stealing his story and not giving him due credit. The writer filed complaints with different writers’ associations, requesting the organizations to stop the makers from starting the Telugu version shooting till the issue is solved.
Nevertheless, neither Murugadoss nor the Telugu makers are taking the issue as serious. The yet to be titled movie to be produced by Ram Charan is likely to start rolling from March.
Will Cut My Ear If TRS Wins GHMC
With just 3 days remaining for the much awaited political contest, the GHMC polls, all the warring parties are busy intensifying the last minute mudslinging at each other. In one such feat, the CPI leader Narayana said he will cut his ear if TRS wins the GHMC elections with highest majority.
Ridiculing TRS’ claims of winning more than 100 seats, Narayana said the party and its leader KCR are dreaming of an impossible task. Extending his verbal attack to BJP, the senior left leader said the party is resorting to religious politics and is inflating tempers among the voters.
Meanwhile, KTR responded to Narayana’s comments in his usual sarcastic style. KTR told Narayana that TRS will surely emerge victorious in the elections and asked him not to cut his ear. Also reminding about Narayana getting into problems by eating meat on Gandhi Jayanth, KTR cautioned Narayana against inviting any further problems.
