Can anyone call an ‘A’ certified faction backdrop film like Rakta Charitra a Children’s film? The film’s director Ram Gopal Varma calls his own film a children’s movie and announces to make same kind of movie “Vangaveeti” which he says is also targeted at Children.

RGV whose latest outing Killing Veerappan is creating sensations at Kannada box office has also revealed the film’s plot. ‘Film starts with the raise of Radha and ends with the death of Ranga..That’s why I am calling the film “Vangaveeti”. “Vangaveeti” will make “Raktacharitra” seem like a children’s film.

The film “Vangaveeti” will tell the actual reality of the realities of Vangaveetis,’ asserted RGV. As all we know, Vangaveeti’s is powerful family in Vijayawada. After Radha Krishna was killed by Communists, Ranga took over the charge of his brother’s legacy.

He became more popular in his own community. He was an Indian National Congress politician. Ranga was then murdered by group of people who came in Ayyapa Mala costume. Meanwhile, RGV’s Killing Veerappan Telugu version is likely to release on January 7th.

Interestingly, the maverick director recently announced to shift Mumbai to make Hindi films. However, RGV who keeps on amend his plans has now announced his next Telugu movie. RGV hasn’t proclaimed producer and other details of the movie.

Sudheer Babu starer Bhale Manchi Roju is having a dream run at box office. The film which opened to positive reviews last week is doing solid business all over thanks to its unique story line and rib tickling comedy by Prudhvi’s character MallePushpam Rama Rao.

The first song teaser of Mahesh Babu’s Brahmotsavam was released yesterday on the eve of New Year. The song composed by Mickey J Meyer is reportedly rip off an international song. The social media was abuzz with this. Promptly reacting to these allegations, Mickey posted his version on Facebook. He denied of copying any song for his song of Brahmotsavam.

“Some people started writing that the song is copied, well., it obviously isn’t and it is a original composition.,,( the tune/melody/ orchestration ) a guitar chord can be same for many songs.,, no one has a copyright on a chord structure,” he posted in his defense.

But many people on facebook and twitter commented that the song is Xerox copy of this international song. This is not the first time that a Tollywood music director is accused of copying other song. But Mickey says he doesn’t steal any music from anyone as he has skills to compose original songs. He also clarifies that he was also not forced by the director Srikanth Addala to copy this music bit.

Here is an exclusive gossip, which is making rounds among trade circles. Going by the buzz, King Nagarjuna’s ‘Soggade Chinni Nayana’, which is slated for release on January 15 as a Sankranthi gift for the audiences, is gossiped to  have been postponed. However, no official announcement of postponement from the makers.

A couple of days ago, it was buzzed that Megastar Chiranjeevi would paid Rs.30 crores as the remuneration for his 150th film and which is the all time record in South India along with Rajinikanth, who is also being paid Rs.30 crores for ‘Kabali’.

Update is that, Lyca Productions, who is co-producing the movie has reportedly fixed the remuneration of Chiranjeevi as Rs.30 crores and they have already paid Rs.15 crores as an advance to the ultimate star of Tollywood.

Meanwhile, Chiranjeevi’s ‘Kaththi’ film will go on floors at the earliest this year. Milky beauty Tamannah was gossiped to be the female lead of this film. VV Vinayak will direct this movie. Mega Power Star Ram Charan  along with Lyca Productions will produce the movie. The movie is slated for release for Dussehra season of this year.

Recently, it was revealed that, makers of Pawan Kalyan starrer Sardaar Gabbar Singh have locked the same date of Gabbar Singh i.e. May 11th. Following the path, Superstar Mahesh Babu and his makers are said to be looking at the same release date of Pokiri for Brahmotsavam outing.

The Srikanth Addala’s directorial is expected to arrive on April 29th with premiere shows in USA and several other territories on 28th. It may be recalled that, Pokiri released on April 28th in 2006 was an industry hit then. Actually, Brahmotsavam release was initially planned for April 8th. However, due to some reasons, they pushed the release to match the lucky date (Pokiri release date).

Interim, Brahmotsavam teaser released on the special eve of New Year appeared colorful and it was well received by netizens. The video that got 6.55 lakh views so far on single YouTube Channel and over 12k likes tips off that Brahmotsavam is about family bonding. The film’s composer Mickey J Meyer clarified on the rumors of the song in the teaser that it was not a copycat and was original.

Brahmotsavam new schedule will begin in next week after Mahesh Babu coming back to India from family vacation in Switzerland. Kajal Agarwal, Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Pranitha Subhash are female leads in the movie. Nagarjuna has reportedly acquired the rights of ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Diwaani’ from Karan Johar, the producer of the movie. Necessary changes to the script to suit for Telugu nativity, will be done by a group of writers. An official announcement of the movie is awaited.

The story is based on Chetan Bhagat’s coming-of-age novel with same title. The film revolves around the love story of Bihari boy and a high society girl. Based on how English defines class system, the story of Madhav and Riya lacks commitment.

‘Half girlfriend,’ where Shraddha will be seen as affluent Delhi-based girl, will mark Shraddha’s third film with Mohit Suri. However, an official announcement is yet to be made.The making of the film is likely to begin in 2016 and is expected to be shot in Bihar, Delhi and New York.

Mumbai: Milap Zaveri’s directorial debut ‘Mastizaade’ is surely the much awaited sex comedy, which stars seductress Sunny Leone in a double role for the first time. Vir Das and Tusshar Kapoor will be seen opposite the twin Sunny.

Sunny has surely raised the bar of seduction on screen. Right from her debut, Sunny has exposed in her films and ‘Mastizaade’ is no less. Sunny plays the character of twins Laila Lele and Lily Lele and will set the screens on fire with her oomph and seduction yet again.
