In an yet another jolt to Opposition YSR Congress, one of its senior leaders and ex MP MV Mysura Reddy is all set to call it quits to the party. Mysura would be quitting YSRCP soon and going to float Pratyeka Rayalaseema Rashtra Sadhana Samithi, aka Telangana Rashtra Samithi. Mysura has already chalked out a detailed plan for this and even said to have discussed with several senior leaders from Rayalaseema. Over 20 leaders of Rayalaseema (who are in Congress, YSRCP) have met at Mysura’s residence to discuss an action plan.

It’s learnt that even dates, muhurat have been fixed. Mysura will be quitting YSRCP on Nov 20th and likely to announce c on Nov21st. RRS will be launched with a list of 9 objectives. One of its key objective is to include Nalgonda (from Telangana), Prakasam and Nellore districts (from Coastal Andhra) to form as a separate state of Rayalaseema. Presently Rayalaseema is a region with four southern districts Anantapur, Chittoor, Kurnool and Kadapa.

Leaders like Srikanth Reddy, Sailajanath, Kotla Suryaprakash Reddy and several others are supporting the move. Leader of Opposition YS Jagan is said to be backing the whole movement. Rumours are rife that Jagan wanted Mysura to quit party and start this movement to disrupt government in order to put CM Chandrababu Naidu in a spot. Even several leaders from TDP are expected to take part of this.

Buzz is that it’s going to be a movement but not a political outfit. However, more details are yet to be made public. With this new movement for separate statehood of Rayalaseema has began.

Swathi Reddy starrer ‘Tripura’ is hitting the screens across the globe today. It appears there are numerous reasons the movie to be scored big at the ticket windows. Firstly, the megaphone was wielded by the super hit film ‘Geethanjali’s director Raj Kiran. Incidentally, ‘Tripura’, was also made as a horror comedy as in the case of ‘Geethanjali’.

Of late horror comedy films are doing great at Tollywood’s box office. Chances for racy screen play, no boredom, thrills in every five to ten minutes and comedians hilarious performances may be the reasons for the success of horror comedy films and ‘Tripura’ is expected to have all these best qualities of a horror comedy.

And lastly Swathi Reddy has a good track record has a heroine. Her recent films in Telugu ‘Swamy Raa Raa’ and ‘Karthikeya’ turned as big hits. All in all, ‘Tripura’ has great chances to score big at the box office.

Given the way the shooting schedules are getting progressed Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Sardaar Gabbar Singh’ and Stylish Star Allu Arjun’s ‘Sarainodu’ maybe wrapped in the same period. And the makers of both the movies are mulling over to release the movie in April of next year. They have revealed the news to media as well.

Even though the makes have locked the release dates of their movies, one movie will surely be pushed for the month of May or it will be preponed to maintain the safe gap of four weeks between the two films. Incidentally, Prince Mahesh’s ‘Brahmotsavam’s release date has also been confirmed as April 9 by its makers. We have to wait for more days to get the clarity of the release dates of all these movies.

‘Sardaar Gabbar Singh’ is being helmed by KS Ravindra on North Star Entertainment. Kajal Aggarwal will be seen opposite to Pawan Kalyan in the film. On the other hand ‘Sarainodu’ is being directed by Boyapati Srinu. The movie has Rakul Preet Singh and Catherine in female lead roles.

Did you know? ‘Megastar’ title for Chiranjeevi was seen for the first time on silver screen in the title cards of 1988’s release, ‘Maranamrudangam’. Later, a song with the lines ‘Star star Megastar…star’ was seen in 1990’s hit film ‘Kodamasimham’.

Interesting fact is that ‘Megastar’ title was not prefixed for the names of any hero on Indian screen before the title got introduced with Chiranjeevi. There has been a recorded evidence that official film magazines of India such as, ‘Filmfare’, ‘Stardust’, ‘Screen’ etc. have also not used title before was it started for Chiranjeevi.

Meanwhile, Chiranjeevi’s 150th film will be launched soon and the movie is likely to be directed by VV Vinayak. Mega Power Star Ram Charan will produce the movie on Konidala Productions.

Director Gunasekhar’s ‘Rudhramadevi’ has accumulated a share of Rs.50+ crores so far. This is the first time a historical entertainer breaching the milestone of Rs.50 crores share. According to the latest snippet, ‘Rudhramadevi’ created another rare feat.

Reports are that ‘Rudhramadevi’ crosses $1 M in the US including its Telugu and Tamil versions. Anushka enthralled the audiences as ‘Rudhramadevi’ while Stylish Star Allui Arjun’s ‘Gona Gannareddy’ role pulled huge turnout of mega fans to theaters which resulted the movie getting record collections at the box office.

The movie has ensemble star cast, who include Rana, Krishnam Raju, Prakash Raj, Suman, Baba Sehgal and many others. The movie’s music was scored by Ilairaja. Gunasekhar, himself directed as well as produced the movie on Guna Team Works. Gunasekhar has recently registered the title ‘Veerabhimanyu’ at the film chamber. Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s highly anticipated mass entertainer ‘Sardaar Gabbar Singh’ is expected to break the previous records of Tollywood.. As Pawan Kalyan will be seen in the getup of a cop, he requires guns, khaki dresses, bandoliers as his accessories. Besides he needs a designer’s bike.

Meanwhile, a leaked pic of ‘Sardaar Gabbar Singh’s Royal Enfield Bike has been leaked and doing rounds on net. It can be seen in the pic that a specially designed sac was attached near the front wheel of the bike and which is said to be the place where guns are kept.

There’s an expiry date for any commercial hero, and he will live longer in the hearts of people only if he picks up some masala films most of time. On the other hand, art films will bring huge applause but career graph will not race upwards. This is purely related to business of films.

Currently mega hero Varun Tej is basking in the glory of his latest film “Kanche” which has won appreciation from all quarters. Bottom line is that, trade circles are not sure if the film will push distributors into hefty profits though it may not cause the loss.

Noted writer, comedian and character artist LB Sriram has expressed anguish over the death of his fellow actor Kondavala Lakshmana Rao. Paying homage to his mortal remains today, LB also stated that Telugu Film Industry is in a sad state of confusion due to the traffic of deaths.

“Almost all these talented, matured and iconic actors are aging. So, it’s against nature that everyone should stay alive for long, but sad thing is that we now don’t know who’s alive and who is dead. Such an irony is prevailing over Telugu film industry now”, said LB Sriram, adding that it would have been better if Kondavalasa has lived a little longer.

Some directors do different things not just on the screen but also in real life. Sekhar Kammula is one such guy, if we have to go by the revelations of character artist Satya Krishnan, who is famous for her husky voice and vadina-aunty kind of roles.

Already cinema lovers do know that Satya Krishnan put up a splendid show as an actress in both Dollar Dreams and Anand, which are Kammula’s gems carved during the entry stage of his career. When Satya Krishnan started starring in other commercial movies later, she charged a remuneration of 25,000 per day.

But what was the amount paid by Sekhar initially? “Actually I’ve to quit my job at a hotel to act in Anand movie. So, Sekhar actually paid a pending loan of mine. To bring me to shoot, he cleared the loan, but otherwise we don’t have anything like a pay check”, revealed Satya Krishnan.

Though this talented lady later took an u-turn, after couple of years she started giving a serious thought about acting. Since then she hasn’t looked back.
