It appears to be a rocking show from Akkineni dynasty’s ‘Ray of Hope’, Akhil, through his very debut venture ‘Akhil’. The censor formalities of the movie have been completed today and the movie received U/A certificate from the members of the board.

As predicted earlier, Akhil is reported to have rocked all the way through his mind blowing dances and fights. The movie was made as a socio fantasy concept which projects the power of the Sun God. As we know the movie was shot extensively in exotic locales of various parts of the world.

Saucy seductress Sayesha Saigal has done the romantic interest of Akhil in the film. VV Vinayak has directed this movie on Shresht Movies owned by hero Nithiin. Anup Rubens and Thaman have scored the music of the movie while back ground score was provided by Manisharma.The movie is hitting the screens on November 11.

Mahesh Babu is one of the biggest grossing heroes in South cinema market. He slowly expanded the trade range from Andhra Pradesh, Telangana States to neighboring Tamil Kadu, Kerala and Karnataka. In Overseas, it is again Mahesh leading among all the Telugu star heroes when it comes to commercial success. He is easily surpassing 1 Million Mark for those movies which have even got divided reports on first day.

Matter of interest is, there were wide spread rumors from last three to four years speculating on Mahesh Babu’s Bollywood entry. His wife Namrata Mahesh hails from Mumbai cine circles and still manages good high level contacts. So, a smooth entry for Mahesh into Mumbai isn’t a problem but however, Telugu Super Star confined himself to Hyderabad. Now, latest buzz mentions on Mahesh is planning for a Hindi version of his upcoming film in AR Murugadoss direction.

Of course, both Telugu and Tamil versions are to be made in parallel. Being both producer and hero of the project, Mahesh is contemplating on the idea of roping in a big Bollywood hero to dub for his voice. An official confirmation is although awaited, it’s good to hear on Mahesh aiming Bollywood market at least for now.

Though the interval scene where heroine gets raped by goons is something that’s not acceptable for many audiences, it’s emotional connect worked. And then we have seen Nikhil suffering from a disease in Surya Vs Surya where he couldn’t come into sun light.

While the film received mixed response with limited appeal, the concept of hero suffering from a disease worked well. Most recently, Nani took a comic route with short-term memory loss and focus-shift disorder, in Bhale Bhale Magadivoyi. Undoubtedly, physic defects have helped Nani to score a blockbuster, while others tumbled a bit.

Anyway, these films have made other young directors and heroes think about the possible physical defects and mental disorders which they could pick up and become silver screen protagonists.

Ever since his debut film Allari, actor turned director Ravi Babu never treaded the routine path and garnered a decent craze and his own set of audiences for his films. Ravi Babu has been lying low after his last film Avunu 2 bombed big at the box-office.

After holding several discussions with Venkatesh and Suresh Babu for a high budget film, Ravi Babu has now seemed to have channeled his concentration towards an experimental film. Apparently, the crazy director is planning to make his next film with an animal as its main character.

For this film, Ravi Babu is reportedly in talks with several Hollywood technicians to make the film technically top class. Not too many details are revealed about this existing project until now, but one can be sure of making of yet another pathbreaking film in Tollywood.

The Censor formalities of Akhil Akkineni’s debut movie, Akhil were completed a short while ago in Hyderabad. The Regional Censor Board members have watched the film and awarded it with U/A certificate with some minor cuts.

With this the movie is all set for a grand release on November 11th as Diwali Special. The Overseas premieres of the film will be screened a day before, on Tuesday night. On the other side, the promotional activities are going on at full swing.

The movie is titled Surya Kavacham in Tamil. Senior Producer C.Kalyan had purchased the Tamil rights of the film for a fancy price. Since there are couple big Tamil releases lined up for Diwali, the movie is postponed to a later date.

Gossip winery is abuzz that Maverick Director Rajamouli is planning to make Garuda, a high budget graphical extravaganza that is much superior to Baahubali on every scale. Although Rajamouli hasn’t officially revealed his plans about making Garuda, the increasing buzz from the film circles clearly indicates that it is not a mere gossip.

As per grapevine Garuda estimated budget is going to be over 1000 crore and it is not an easy task to get someone who would invest so much in a movie. In spite of Rajamouli’s track record and the magical run of Baahubali at the box office, making a movie worth 1000 crore is outright risky. Rajamouli is aware of this and therefore he has come up with a plan to get the attention of the investors.

If the buzz is to be believed Rajamouli is planning to release a teaser of Garuda before the actual film takes off. The estimated cost of this twenty five second teaser is a whopping Rs. 25 crore! This teaser would give clearly give an idea about the how the film is going to be. There would be lot of graphics packed in this short teaser that will be launched directly in the theaters.

Rajamouli is confident that producers would queue up to be a part of Garuda after watching the teaser. He is super confident about it that he is willing to invest twenty five crore on the teaser without even knowing whether he will make the movie or not! This might have sounded outright silly if it is about any other director but for Rajamouli nothing is impossible, right?

Even two months after allotting the dates, seductress Kajal Agarwal hasn’t even got a call to take part in the film’s shooting. Since then she’s waiting at her temporary residence here in Hyderabad eagerly for the mega call. Finally, it happened.

After considering various Bollywood girls, hot models and other aspiring starlets including Anisha Ambrose, Powerstar Pawan Kalyan has finally roped in a star heroine as his leading lady for ‘Sardaar’. She’s none other than mega beauty Kajal who has done five films in mega camp itself.

The happiness of signing Pawan’s film turned into a suspicion as she’s not being called for the shooting. Though Kajal made to the shooting spot twice to pose with Pawan once and Lakshmi Rai again just for her personal album, she never actually shot for Sardaar. Reports now suggest that she will be joining Pawan from November 17th.

Sardaar makers have now sent a confirmation call to Kajal Agarwal to attend the shooting of the film from November 17th, for the Gujarat schedule that is likely to be kickstarted in Vadodara. That’s a big relief for the hot lady, as this film came as a blessing in disguise for her when no big projects are in hand. Also Kajal signed Mahesh’s Brahmotsavam for a special role.

Two of Tollywood’s hotshot producers Anil Sunkara of 14 Reels and Sai Korrapati of Vaarahi joined hands and released the blockbuster horror comedy, Rajugari Gadhi. The film, which was made with a budget of less than 3 crore, released without any expectations and surprised everyone by collecting more than 10 crore share.

Now, both the producers have once again joined forces to give a much needed boost to yet another small film titled Jatha Kalise. Jatha Kalise is a romantic entertainer and the story unfolds in a journey from Vizag to Hyderabad. Impressed with the film’s storyline, both the producers have purchased the theatrical rights of the film.

Apparently, the producers, after watching the rough copy, suggested a few changes to the film’s story and the makers are doing the final corrections, after which the film will be made available for a theatrical release. Happening young Telugu actress Tejaswi Madivada and a debutante named Ashwin play the lead roles.

Rakesh Sasi, who was a top ten contender of K.Raghavendra Rao’s ‘Repati Darshakulu’ talent hunt, will make his directorial debut with Jatha Kalise. Naresh Ravuri is the film’s producer and Vikki is the music director.
