How Long Will Anyone Agree For Glamour?

The talk is about two hot girls- Ileana and Taapsee. Our famous hip siren has chosen Bollywood over Telugu films and then completely neglected Telugu industry. Curly haired Delhi beauty has felt that South films are little boring and is not seen on screen even though Kanchana turned hit recently. Is there any reason behind this happening?

Some analysts say that both these hot ladies are intentionally not picking Telugu movies. From the start of their career to present, both these hotties are seen flaunting their curves for the screen. Apart from that, there is nothing much these ladies offered, at the same nothing more was offered to these ladies too.

Ileana’s waist and Taapsee’s amazing skin show always got popularised, but never their acting prowess or anything. That has hurt these hotties, because they have of late started feeling that only their glamour is yielding money but not any other talent. For that reason, they are said to be showing aversion to pick films down south.

Otherwise, many producers have run to Ileana and Taapsee, rolling them many offers, but still these beauties are not taking the chance.

Hurrying Might Kill Hype Around Her

Starting with a short film on Youtube to hosting a TV show as a co-anchor and then hosting another celebrity talk show, Konidela Niharika became a big celeb already. And then news has come out that she’s debuting with Ramaraju’s “Oka Manasu”. But before this film shoot has started, she’s debuting on Web with another series, “Muddapappu Avakai”.

What’s this hurrying for? That’s the first question Niharika is asked these days. Because for debutants from these top film families are expected to deliver very big with their debut films. That’s why there will be big buzz about their first appearance on silver screen. Same this is happening in Niharika’s career right now. But as she’s picking various kinds of projects, definitely the sheen around her first debut is losing.

Also, she should impress with her first film, prove as an actress and then proceed with a variety of roles. That’s what fans are expecting. Hurrying to many projects is simply killing hype around her. Check out Niharika.

Akhil Deeply Disappointed?

If reports are anything to go by, Akkineni scion Akhil is deeply disappointed. And what’s more surprising is that the reason behind Akhil’s disappointment is his own father Nagarjuna’s decision to postpone.

Apparently, all is not well between Akhil and Nagarjuna for the past few days. As soon as Nag made a decision to defer the release of Akhil, Akhil was said to be upset. Akhil reportedly didn’t talk to anyone for two days after the postponement of film.

In fact, when Nag called Akhil, he didn’t pick his call. It’s learnt that Akhil was supposed to attend the press conference after postponing the film’s release but he didn’t as he was not in talking terms. Hence, Nag attended the press conference to make a formal statement.

In fact, recently, Akhil stated that his dad is not his favourite actor which stunned many including die-hard fans of Akkineni clan. Also, rumours are rife that Nag’s decision to delay Akhil is supposed to “help” his friend Chiranjeevi’s son Ram Charan’s film Bruce Lee which was also slated for Dasara release.

On whole, the fresh rumours of a possible rift between father and son have ignited several speculations in the tinsel town. It’s time for Nag and Akhil to come out to set the record straight.

Why Nandamuri Hero Ditched Miss India?

The other day “Sher” released and a big talk has erupted about Sonal Chauhan’s glamour. As usual this hottie poured the maximum of her curves to make the film interesting at least for a while. But the very sight of this hot lady made people remember another news.

Earlier Kalyan Ram has roped in Miss India 2012 Vanya Mishra for the heroine’s role. She has shot for the film for a schedule too. Many Miss India girls like Priyanka, Sarah Jane Dais and Neha Dhupia have worked in Telugu films too.

For that reason, this Chandigarh girl was expected to turn a show stopper here in Tollywood. Kalyan Ram says, “We’ve shot with Vanya for 10 days only. Actually her screen presence is not that great. Somehow the chemistry is not working out. So, we’ve decided to replace her”.

Anyway, a Miss India beauty getting her first flick either shelved, unreleased or halted mid-way is s something a positive sign too. Priyanka Chopra’s debut flick, Telugu movie “Apurupam” never got wrapped and released, and see where she’s now. Hope even Vanya inherits such luck.

Mumbai: A women’s court here on Friday sentenced to death a 29-year-old man found guilty of robbing, raping, burning and killing Esther Anuhya, a techie from Andhra Pradesh, on January 5, 2014.Terming it as the ‘rarest of rare cases’, Special Judge Vrushali Joshi pronounced the verdict against Chandrabhan Sudam Sanap, who was found guilty of multiple crimes on October 27. Judge Joshi observed: “This is the rarest of rare cases… For the murder charge, the accused shall be hanged by the neck till death.”

The women’s court also sentenced Sanap to life imprisonment under the Indian Penal Code Section 376A (rape), and awarded 10 years’ imprisonment under Section 376(2) (M) for persistent sexual assault. The 23-year-old victim’s father, Jonathan Prasad and brother Thomas Noble – welcomed the verdict.

“Justice has been done and we are grateful to the police, courts and media for taking up the cause so diligently…It will serve as a deterrent to others,” Prasad told media persons outside the court. The woman had arrived from Vijayawada in Andhra Pradesh at the Lokmanya Tilak Railway Terminus after a Christmas break to rejoin work at the Tata Consultancy Services in Goregaon here.

The incident happened after the train arrived early that morning around 5 a.m. at Lokmanya Tilak Terminus and Sanap, posing as a cabbie, offered to drop her at her hostel in south Mumbai. They negotiated an amount of Rs.300 for the commute.

However, when she walked out of the terminus with her luggage, she found Sanap had neither a taxi nor an autorickshaw but a motorcycle. When Esther refused to sit on the motorcycle pillion, he asked her to make a call and inform her family about his details and the vehicle registration number.

As there was no other form of commute availale at that hour and though she did not have balance in her mobile, she pretended to make a call to her family before accepting the motorbike ride. En route, he stopped the bike on the service road near Kanjurmarg suburb, on the pretext that petrol in the motorcycle was exhausted.

In the foggy wintry morning on the deserted highway, he dragged Esther into the bushes and attempted to rape her.

As she strongly resisted, an enraged Sanap banged her head repeatedly with a stone and strangled her with her dupatta. Later, he took some petrol from his motorbike and attempted to burn her in the thick bushes beside the Eastern Express Highway near Kanjurmarg.

He fled the scene after grabbing her bag and a strolley which contained her laptop and other belongings. Sanap was arrested from Nashik on March 3 and charged with the crime. Meanwhile, unable to communicate with Esther, her anxious father, Jonathan Prasad lodged a missing person complaint with Vijayawada Railway Police before coming to Mumbai and lodging another complaint with the Kurla Railway Police.

Mumbai Police recovered a charred and decomposed body in Kanjurmarg on January 16. Esther’s identity was established on the basis of a ring she was wearing.

Later, Sanap was arrested and the Special Public Prosecutor Raja Thakare examined 39 witnesses, including two who said they had seen the accused and the victim together. This clinched the case against Sanap.

Mumbai Police spokesperson Dhananjay Kulkarni said on Friday that the prosecution successfully secured the conviction under all sections of the law under which the accused was tried.

King Nagarjuna’s ‘Majnu’ was one of the super hits in the beginning days of his career. The movie was made as rom tragedy and Nagarjuna lived in the character as ‘Majnu’. And now, Nagarjuna’s elder son Naga Chaitanya’s new movie’s title has also been confirmed as ‘Majnu’ and it’s going to be the remake of Malayalam blockbuster film ‘Premam’.

It is being said that Naga Chaitanya’s ‘Majnu’ will be made as a romantic and comedy entertainer unlike Nagarjuna’s ‘Majnu’. This is the biggest difference between Chaitu’s ‘Majnu’ and Nagarjuna’s ‘Majnu’.

It is also learnt that Nagarjuna, who played protagonist in then ‘Majnu’, will be seen as a father of Naga Chaitanya in this film. Besides, Victory Venkatesh will also reprise a cameo role in the movie. The movie has Anupama Parameswaran as one of the heroines. Chandu Mondedi is directing the movie. Hyderabad: Chinese firms have come forward to invest in Telangana for construction of bridges, tunnels and high-rise buildings, the state government said on Friday. A team of officials from various Chinese companies met Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao here on Friday and discussed issues relating to various proposed projects.

Bank of China has agreed to provide 85 percent of the funds for India’s tallest tower proposed to be built on the banks of Hussain Sagar lake here. A final decision in this regard will be taken at another meeting to be held soon, according to a statement from the chief minister’s office. CCCC Highway Consultants Ltd has come forward to build a suspension bridge in Durgam Cheruvu, a lake in information technology hub of Cyberabad here.

The meeting was held after representatives of the Chinese companies surveyed sites of various proposed projects including construction of a bridge across Musi River in Hyderabad. They presented their designs and proposals to the chief minister. The Chinese firms also offered to complete tunnels under Palamuru lift irrigation project with the latest technology in the shortest possible time.

A large delegation of Chinese firms had met the chief minister here on October 16. Two MoUs were also signed on the occasion. The visit by the delegation and the survey undertaken by the Chinese firms in Hyderabad and other parts of the state was a follow-up to Chandrasekhar Rao’s visit to China last month.

The Bajirao Mastani – Dilwale standoff: Who will blink first?

Share

434822178

December 18 is the day when Sanjay Leela Bhansali clashes with Shah Rukh Khan at the box office. Bhansali’s epic historical Bajirao Mastani and the new Shah Rukh Khan starrer Dilwale are all set to spar on the same Friday in December. Trade experts who don’t want to be named are worried. An eminent producer known to churn out a nearly uninterrupted flow of hits predicts, “While Bajirao Mastani is likely to be a modern classic, it is the combination of Shah Rukh Khan and director Rohit Shetty that will draw in the crowds initially.

The audience will first see Dilwale then Bajirao Mastani.” In the meanwhile, the battle for theatres has begun. One hears that Shah Rukh’s production house Red Chillies will be booking a majority of the screens across the country.

“They have the clout. No one says no to Shah Rukh Khan. Remember when his Jab Tak Hai Jaan had clashed with Ajay Devgn’s Son Of Sardaar over Diwali in 2012? Ajay was left with little choice in terms of theatrical outlets,” says an unnamed trade expert. As for moving out of the way, neither film is likely to do so.

Reasons Taran Adarsh, “I don’t think Dilwale or Bajirao Mastani will shift from their December 18 release date. The respective producers are sticking to the release date. Bajirao Mastani has already commenced promotions, while the trailer of Dilwale will be attached to Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. In any case, the release of these two biggies is timed during the Christmas and New Year vacations and I genuinely feel, two good films can easily co-exist in today’s times. It’s a great period, with holidays aplenty, so why postpone? “

Adds trade analyst Atul Mohan, “We have enough number of screens to accommodate both the films. Suggesting to anyone to bow out to make room for the other can appear to be a biased move. Agreed that the stakes are high but both the producers are strong and know the business more than we know.”

However, Atul warns about the pitfalls of the purported twin explosion in the pre-Christmas week. “The point to be noted here is that 18 Dec is not a festive week, like Eid or Diwali. The business will be elevated in the following week when Xmas holidays begin. May the better and bigger film do big business.”

Lion’s Blessings To Kalyanram’s Sher

After more than a year’s delay,  Nandamuri Kalyanram’s mass masala action entertainer Sher released this morning. The film got mixed response from critics and audiences alike. However, the film must sail through comfortably over the weekend, thanks to no big films around.

Now, Sher will get a major boost from one and the only ‘Lion’ Balayya tomorrow. Latest buzz among Nandamuri fans is that Balakrishna will watch Sher at Narthaki theater in Nellore. Balayya will first inaugurate his father and legendary actor NTR’s statue in Narthaki Centre before heading to the theater.

This once again proves Kalyanram’s strengthening relationship in the Nandamuri family. On the other hand, it will be a mind-boggling experience for fans if Balayya someday watches even Young Tiger NTR’s film in a special screening, just like he’s encouraging Kalyanram.

India no longer the back office of the world: K. Taraka Rama Rao

?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

“Today, the situation is changing. Indian youngsters and young India is not content in being known as the back office of the world… there is a lot of entrepreneurial zeal, there is a lot of enthusiasm among young Indians to do better and to actually compete with the rest of the world,” said Rao at the CeBIT India 2015 inaugural ceremony.

Calling his new state the “startup state”, he said: “We take a lot of pride in calling ourselves the startup state. We are the youngest state in India. We operate with the mindset of a startup.” To make Hyderabad as the startup capital of India, he said the Telangana government launched two ambitious programmes – the THUB and Telangana Academy of Skill and Knowledge (TASK).

“THUB is essentially a collaboration of academic institutions and various business enterprises within Hyderabad to set up the largest incubator in the entire country for startups in India,” he said. “We setup TASK, a collaborative effort of industry and academia to ensure that the market requirements are in alignment with what is being taught in the academia,” said Rao, adding industry frequently complains of graduates not being industry ready.

Another major Telangana infrastructure project highlighted by Rao is the ambitious 1.5 lakh kilometer water pipeline all over the state, and this has the piggybacking of a broadband fibreoptic across its length to connect 8.5 million household with internet connectivity. “Telangana will emerge as the most connect state in India after the completion of this project,” added Rao.

Hyderabad: Bike racer Mohammed Irfan popularly known as Iffu Rider is now training Cyberabad’s anti chain-snatching teams. The specially selected policemen are trained in unarmed close combat and fighting using weapons. Since two days they are being trained on Gandipet Roads on how to race on busy city roads and nab chain-snatchers.

Police commissioner C.V. Anand conceived the idea of setting up anti chain-snatching teams and giving them race training so that they can match bike borne chain-snatchers.

Mohammed Irfan, a 24-year-old racer from the I.K. Racing Team of Masab Tank says, “I trained the policemen on how to control the brakes, speed through lanes, dash fleeing snatchers and how to ride the bike so that they fall down and other techniques. For this the condition of bikes must be good.”

He added, “All chain-snatchers are trained in bike racing and they can ride well.”

All the policemen were earlier trained as commandos and they are armed with pistols. Cyberabad ACP B. Kistaiah said, “Training was given to 55 teams to intercept chain snatchers. They are already trained commandos and we are refreshing their skills. They are trained to defend themselves by using firearms if chain-snatchers attack them.

Hyderabad: The State Human Rights Commission has directed the GHMC to provide employment to about 1,600 persons who had been sacked when they refused to rejoin duty during the municipal staff strike in July.

The petition was filed by the JAC representing workers. “The GHMC officials took vengeance and there was no ground to remove the workers. The salaries were hiked on July 16, but the workers who were on strike on July 15 were removed,” a JAC representative said.

“The contract employees of GHMC are not permitted to report for the duty and thereby their right to livelihood is denied which ultimately amounts to denial of right to life,” SHRC secretary D. Subramanyam, said. “Though sufficient time was given, GHMC didn’t counter the allegations,” it stated. It recommended that the petitioners be given employment within a month.
