Not all producers believe in horror flicks. And they don’t love to make horror comedies. But the success of Kanchana and Prema Katha Chitram has changed the scene, with everyone running after such horror films now.

Unfortunately when anchor Omkar made “Raju Gari Gadhi” with his own money, no one even came forward to release the film. He has approached some big distributors and producers, and everyone has almost turned down. Finally it is Sai Korrpati (Eega fame) and Anil Sunkara (14 Reels) who have believed in the content.

We hear that they have purchased the film for out-rate and decided to go ahead with the release. Omkar’s work and the belief of these producers in horror turned fruitful in the end.

Those who worked for the film, both actors and technicians are saying, ‘We know how hard Omkar tried to sell the film, but none believed him. At the end his will power and creativity managed to win. We are happy’.

What will happen if movies are not giving good results? Definitely anybody has to find an alternative source of work. That’s what heroine Karthika Nair, daughter of former super starlet Radha is doing at the moment.

After receiving a Masters in Hotel Management from an UK based University, Karthika is very much into her father’s hotel business. Though she’s getting chances occasionally, nothing much is happening positively for her on film’s front.

The other day, Karthika’s UDS Hotel & Luxury Spa has won award at ‘World Luxury Hotel Awards’ for their best services offered. Whether she has given just a break to films or she wants to continue as hotelier is not yet known, but good luck Karthika!!

Call it Bollywood craze or to make his presence felt at National level, it looks like Director Krish is not willing to make another Telugu movie immediately. With rumours emerging that he will direct Akhil in his next, the director speaks for himself.

“I’ve signed many big Bollywood production houses, and after wrapping Kanche the deal is to work with them. Honestly I’ve not decided what to do next”, says Krish. But he’s quick to correct us. “I’m not in a mood to direct another film now, but want to enjoy this success. Everyone in the cast and crew is happy and the film might see profits. That’s a victory for me”, he adds. Earlier most of Krish’s movies have won critical acclaim but they failed to work out at box office, thereby resulting in some losses.

Coming to his next, probably Krish wants to make a Bollywood film which will be a bilingual and prove his mettle like a Rajamouli at national level. Sources close to him say, Krish is no mood to make Telugu film for now. He may kick start his second Hindi venture soon. Akshay Kumar’s Tagore remake “Gabbar” is Krish’s first Hindi film.

Will audiences watch ‘routine’ films with ‘routine’ masala or will they prefer ‘variety’ subjects with ‘variety’ treatment?

If that’s the question, writers like Kona Venkat are openly saying that audiences love to watch ‘routine’, while some creative filmmakers do say that audiences love ‘variety’. To be honest, audiences love both, if that particular film is engaging. That’s right. They won this discussion by declaring the results of two films, and that’s tight slap for those cry-babies who complain about mindset of movie-goers.

As we said already, both “Kanche” and “Raju Gari Gadhi” are going steady at box office. While Krish and Varun Tej’s Kanche is getting appreciation for its brilliant script and tackling of caste system rather effectively, Raju Gari Gadhi is winning accolades merely for its comedy factor. What does this prove? Make a routine film with engaging content, entertaining scenes and gripping narration- then people will watch it.

Raju Gari Gadhi story is not new, but the presentation is. Variety is what you want to deliver, then pick a subject that will touch the hidden emotional layers of audiences and move their hearts. Even though there are some dull moments, Kanche’s brilliant handling of social-evil and pure love have impressed big time.

So, make a routine film or a variety one, make it engaging. Don’t complain about audiences, because they watch any film that could make them sit happily and excitedly for 2 hours. The End.

Without issuing any statement or anything, hero Varun Sandesh’s family has finally confirmed that their son is in fact in love with heroine Vithika Sheru and the families are ready to get them married.

After several weeks long intense debates over the extension of brand Baahubali into a franchise with the third part, maverick director SS Rajamouli laughed off the reports about the third part as rumours. Soon, a video interview in which Rajamouli clearly stating that there will be a third part in the Baahubali series flashed on the internet.

This naturally led to a serious confusion and several fans directly enquired the man Rajamouli himself. Clearing the air, Rajamouli confirmed that Baahubali 3 is certainly on cards and he even apologized for creating the confusion instead of giving clarity.

In his words, Rajamouli said, “Baahubali-3 is on cards…But the story that’s written for the two parts will not be dragged for the sake of it. This story will conclude with the second part itself. Hyderabad: One particular top Tollywood hero is said to have decided to work with a heroine as they can make a good on-screen pair.

Well, the heroine was in no mood to oblige and she turned down the offer not once but twice.

So by the time the third film happened, it is said that the hero had only one condition for the director. Apparently, the hero made it clear to the director that he must get the heroine to do the film with him.

Now, the heroine too refused to do the film, but then they were after her and even promised her bigger remuneration.

It is said she was also given a costly gift to get her to sign the dotted line. Now, if the hero is adamant, then the director has no other option right?
