Started off as a child actor with Baalala Ramayanam, NTR then turned hero with a romantic flick titled Ninnu Chudalani, which ran to average response. However, NTR’s stardom rose to several heights with Rajamouli’s first film, Student No 1. Soon, with a series of blockbusters and explosive performances, NTR earned the Young Tiger title from fans.

But now, NTR got a new title from his close pal and one of the most happening music directors of the present time, Devi Sri Prasad. During the teaser launch of Kumari 21F, DSP surprised everyone as headdressed NTR as ‘Telugu Thalaiva’. Now, only the biggest star in the country, Superstar Rajinikanth, is called by his fans with the title Thalaiva’.

While DSP might have addressed NTR as Telugu Thalaiva’ out of his love and admiration for his Adurs and Nannaku Prematho star, even NTR fans are somewhat puzzled whether to call NTR with the usual Young Tiger or the new ‘Telugu Thalaiva’. Nevertheless, Thalaiva’ has more a Tamil flavor than Telugu.

After ages, young tiger NTR is coming to entertain us for Sankranthi festival. His 25th film Nannaku Prematho in Sukumar’s direction will arrive to theaters on January 8th, 2016. Apparently, NTR would solely enjoy the eve, since no big film is hitting the screens during the time. Buzz is that Balakrishna’s Dictator supposed for the festival, would postpone to February. Reason for the rumored postponement is not yet known.

Usually, star heroes will look for festival seasons such as Dasara and Sankranthi to release their films, since huge collections are assured owing to long holidays. Nonetheless, NTR didn’t follow the strategy for his last few outings and missed the opportunity to cash on the festival holidays. But, this time for Nannaku Prematho, he is implementing right tactics.

Other stars like Pawan Kalyan, Mahesh Babu, Ram Charan and Allu Arjun are working for their respective films which are aimed for different seasons, other than Sankranthi. Charan’s Bruce Lee is releasing for Dasara and his next- Thani Oruvan remake to start rolling sometime this year may release in summer.

Pawan Kalyan Sardaar Gabbar Singh was also initially planned for Sankranthi, but delay in production work caused postponement in release. Allu Arjun’s Sarainodu is likely in February and Mahesh Babu’s Brahmotsavam will only see lights in summer.

So, NTR’s Nannaku Prematho is sure to rake record openings and will solely enjoy at the box office until release of other biggie. This happens, only if Dictator gets postponed.

• If things go well, young hero Raj Tarun will next work with veteran filmmaker Vamsi for Ladies Tailor 2. The energetic hero will okay the project if and only if Vamsi impresses him with hilarious screenplay. Very few people know that, Raj Tarun is well trained in story, screenplay and dialogues writing at Nagarjuna’s AISFM institute. So, he is selecting winning stories for his films.

  Taking his interest to next level, Raj Tarun who is presently in Bangkok is penning a script for hero Sunil. It is heard that, he is cooking up an entertaining subject and will narrate it to Sunil after completing the work. However, it is not known yet whether Raj Tarun is interested in wielding phone or just offer the script to Sunil.

  Raj Tarun emerged as junior Ravi Teja for small time producers. The actor, who is enjoying the consecutive hits of Uyyala Jampala and Cinema Chupista Mama, has recently wrapped up Kumari 21F, for which popular director Sukumar has penned story, screenplay apart from co-producing the movie. Directed by newcomer Palnati Surya Pratap, the romantic comedy is due for release in November. Great going Raj!

With the sole aim of wrapping the film’s shoot as soon as possible, both mega hero Ram Charan and his dazzling co-star Rakul Preet Singh are working quite hard. Their target is to make “Bruce Lee” hit screens on October 16th.

From yesterday morning 6 am to today morning 6am, both Ram Charan and Rakul Preet are said to be shooting continuously on a 24 hour marathon for the song ‘Le Le Bruce Lee’. Despite taking any rest, the lead pair have given a best of their dancing to wrap the song, thereby bringing the whole shoot to an end.

Excited and exhausted, both the leading stars never showed any sign of tiredness while wrapping the song. After closing all the work today morning, both Charan and Rakul left to their places only to call the day as a rest. Again from tomorrow, they have to promote the flick’s Tamil version starting with the audio release.

Directed by Sreenu Vaitla, “Bruce Lee- The Fighter” trailers and teaser immensely appealed to the masses, while Thaman’s music became a chartbuster instantly. As the shooting is wrapped now, we have to see when the film will go to Censors and sets everything at right places for the release.

If the ongoing reports are anything to be believed, director Puri Jagannadh and actress Charmme will soon join hands to produce a film with young and rising hero Raj Tarun.

The reports further claim that veteran actress cum filmmaker Revathi will direct this film, which will have story and screenplay provided by Puri himself.

Incidentally, Revathi is acting in Puri’s upcoming film Loafer (Now tentatively titled as Varun  Maa Amma Seethamahalakshmi), and Puri himself requested Revathi to direct the project. The actress, who also made a few award winning films, readily accepted the proposal, said the reports.

However, unlike the socially conscious movies Revathi directed so far like Mitr My Friend and Salman Khan’s Phir Milenge, this film is said to be an out and out commercial subject with typical Puri brand entertainment.

On the other hand, Raj Tarun is raging with two back to back hits in the dorm of Uyyala Jampala and Cinema Choopistha Maava and this big banner project will surely make him go several notches higher in his career.

Universal Hero Kamal Hassan’s Cheekati Rajyam is gearing up for release on November 10th as Diwali Special. The makers are planning to begin the promotions with a song release tomorrow. The movie shoot was completed long ago and currently the post production works are going on.

Strong Buzz emerging from Kollywood is that the movie is a heavily inspired from a French film in which the entire story takes place in one night. The movie which was extensively shot in Hyderabad and Chennai was wrapped up in a record 38 working days.

The movie being a bilingual, is a straight Telugu movie of Kamal after a very long time. Kamal Hassan’s associate Rajesh is directing the film. Trisha is pairing up with Kamal Hassan for the second time in her career after Manmadha Banam. The bilingual film is being produced by Kamal Hassan himself on his RajKamal Films International banner.

Despite his best efforts, Vishnu Manchu did not manage to bag the much needed hit with Dynamite. The actor is disappointed but not out. He started his next film, directed by G.Karthik Reddy and they have also completed the first schedule of the film.

The makers have canned few scenes on the lead pair in this schedule. The second schedule currently began in Hyderabad. The movie will be extensively shot in Hyderabad and Vishakapatnam. Some action part will be canned in this second schedule, They are planning to announce their title on Dussehra day.

Touted to be a love story with good feel, the movie has Jadoogadu fame Sonarika playing the female lead. The film will be produced by Palli Keshava Rao and D.Kumar under Sri Venkateswara Swamy Films banner. Anoop Rubens is the music composer. Vijay C Kumar is cranking the camera.
