What was going through the mind of Mahesh Babu much before the release of Srimanthudu? As the film is a super hit now, he could breathe a sigh of relief and happily start his work on forthcoming Brahmotsavam. But what’s his mind and thoughts like a day before the release?

“First of all, I’m happy that Srimanthudu is accepted by all and it became a success. Forget how much it collected, the numbers or records whatever”, said Mahesh, thanking all the movie lovers. Explaining his situation a day before release, he avers, “I’m literally shivering, hands shaking and feeling very tense.

My past two films haven’t done well. 1 Nenokkadine is little better, but bad length killed the movie’s fate, while Aagadu is a pure mistake. So if Srimanthudu’s result topples, I can’t take it”. Other than the content of Srimanthudu, there is something else that worried Mahesh.

“After Magadheera came, for two months there is no other hit in Telugu industry. That’s why I’m worried to come after Baahubali. I’m nervous if my film would click or not post such massive hit. Luckily, Srimanthudu worked”, he said, explaining how Magadheera scared him. Anyway, all those thoughts are a past now. Srimanthudu has written history. Dot.

Nithin and Samantha are teaming up for A..Aa (Anasuya Ramalingam Vs Anand Vihari). Like Trivikram Srinivas’s earlier films, this is also going to be a beautiful family entertainer. Seeing the title we conclude that, Nithin is Anand Vihari and his lady love Samantha is Anasuya Ramalingam. But we are half wrong. Yesteryear actress Nadhiya is playing Anasuya Ramalingam, while Nithin will be seen in half title role.

In the film, Nadhiya will be seen as Samantha’s mother or Nithin’s mother-in-law (Aunt). So, the story is going to be interesting game of wits and laughs between Nithin (Alludu) and Nadhiya (Attha).

Nadhiya is golden leg for Tollywood. All the films she acted in her second innings were super hits such as Mirchi, Attarintiki Daredi and Drishyam. Additionally, she was lauded for her performance in all these films. As per inside sources, Nadhiya’s role in A..Aa is going to be major asset.

Trivikram is ready with bounded script and he wishes to wrap up A..Aa in three months time to release for Sankranthi, 2016. Kollywood star composer Anirudh Ravichander is making Tollywood debut with the film being produced by S Radhakrishna.

Nandamuri Balakrishna’s 99th film, Dictator team is back in Hyderabad after completing its latest schedule in Europe. They have filmed few scenes and couple of songs for the film in Bulgaria and Poland. The makers say they are on track for January 14th release as Sankranthi special.

The audio release event of the movie is planned for December 3rd week. The first look poster and the Ganesha song will release on September 17th as Vinayaka Chaviti Special. Loukyam fame Srivas is wielding megaphone for this movie.

He is also the co-producer of the film along with Eros International. Anjali and Sonal Chauhan are the heroines. Famous writers duo – Kona Venkat and Gopimohan will be working for the first time with Balayya. SS Thaman is composing music for the first time for a Balayya film.

Amidst news that Mega brother Nagababu’s daughter Konidela Niharika is getting ready to debut into films, fans are discussing what would be the best film for her.

For the kind of family background she’s having, probably it will be tough to act in those song and dance routine kind of roles. Becoming a hot and happening commercial heroine is also tad bit tough. Mainly Niharika might be looking at artistic roles like the ones done by Kangana in Queen and Manchu Lakshmi in Gundello Godari. If she’s thinking that way, then there is an idea. As victory Venkatesh is looking forward to star in Amitabh Bachan’s role in “Piku” remake, Niharika would be best bet to play Deepika Padukone’s role.

The First Look and Title of PVP Cinema’s Bilingual Entertainer,  starring Nagarjuna Akkineni and Karthi, directed by Vamshi Paidipally, will be released  The film also stars Tamannaah, Prakash Raj, Jayasudha, Ali and Gabriella.

The multi-starrer has completed an extensive shooting schedule in exotic locales of Europe and will commence the final phase of its shooting in Hyderabad from this weekend.

“Celebration of Life”, the central theme of this film, is aptly reflected in the first look poster.

Actor Nara Rohit, who is known for doing experimenting roles, is at it again. The Solo star is essaying the role of Casanova in his next film. Titled Savitri, the movie sees actress Nandita (of Prema Katha Chitram) playing his romantic interest. Rohit will attract many girls in the movie.

For a change from his usual roles, Rohit will be seen as a talkative youngster who has absolute clarity about everything in life. This is apparently first time Rohit is playing such a role in his career. Director Pavan Sadineni has taken extra care on Rohit’s characterization. What’s more? It’s not just Rohit alone who steals the show. As per the reports, actress Nandita too have a strong role and director-writer etched her a great role.

“The kind of girl she plays has only been written about in books, novels so far. This will be her memorable role. I don’t want to reveal much,” director Pavan was quoted as saying. He adds that the character demands a girl who could emote, express well through her eyes. Nandita plays title role Savitri who has an air of her own.

Talking about Teja’s latest movie “Hora Hori” there were various theories explaining why the film failed to a large extent. Some say, Teja has good ideas, but a bad and routine execution killed it.

In Mahabharatam, a guru trains a disciple and that disciple becomes his opponent sometime later. While Dronacharya took thumb finger of Ekalavya as a fee, he tutored Arjuna in all warfare except in using Brahmastras. In the war he has to fight the Pandavas, whom he tutored. Later this knowledge acts as a curse on him and he leaves his body upon reacting to a false rumour. Taking cue from above story, Teja developed “Hora Hori” script which many other directors like Vetrimaran dealt effectively in movies like “Aadukalam”.

Here in “Hora Hori”, this concept would have worked if he’s supported by a stunning team of writers. Though villain’s character is etched well, it’s badly written and performed normally. That reduced the chances of the film doing wonders at box office. Also the way he chose to make type writing wars between two villages, all sound logically weak and silly. He wrote a brilliant point on paper, but failed to get proper treatment. Let’s call it bad luck.
