The first look posters of Kumari 21F, a youthful romantic entertainer presented by creative director Sukumar on his Sukumar Writings banner, have been unveiled at a special launch this afternoon. True to the film’s genre, the makers released two strikingly exciting posters that show the love and lust among the youths.

Kumari 21F is being directed by Surya Pratap, who earlier directed Sushanth’s Current. The film has young hero Raj Tarun, who is on a hat-trick after the successive hits of Uyyala Jampala and Cinema Choopistha Maava. Young beauty Hebah Patel, who starred  in Ala Ela, is the film’s heroine.

Kumari 21F has top technicians like Ratnavelu as cinematographer and DSP as the music director. The film will release on 30th October.

On September 26th, we hear that Megastar Chiranjeevi will unveil the audio of “Bruce Lee” in a star studded function. Forget the other guest who will be gracing the event, but Allu Arjun is likely to attend as another guest for the mega audio. Directed by Sreenu Vytla, this film has Thaman scoring music for Charan after Nayak.

Earlier he was supposed to compose tunes for Govindudu Andarivadele but replaced in the last minute. Also with his tunes being complained for repetitiveness and nothing-new, he is looking forward to impress mega fans with stunning work.

Currently some crucial scenes involving Bollywood actress Tisca Chopra and Ram Charan are being shot in Hyderabad. Soon there will be a audio teaser released and we have to see when that teaser featuring Chiru will be released.

“I’ll not do remakes. A character done by someone else never amuses me. I can’t repeat it again”, says Mahesh Babu, time and again. And he’s literally sticking to it.

Today Mahesh Babu confirmed that he has no plans to remake the super hit Tamil film “Thani Oruvan”. “As everyone is calling it as a blockbuster, I’ve watched the film just out of curiosity. It’s good. If director Raja has another such fantastic script, definitely I’ll act under his direction.

But I’m not remaking Thani Oruvan”, confirms Mahesh. That makes things clear that Mahesh is not breaking his oath of not starring in remakes.So, Ram Charan seems to be the only actor in race for the film’s Telugu version remake.

Cinematographer-turned-director Teja is hard-headed filmmaker and not easy to handle. The tough taskmaster finally seems to have bowed down to all-round pressure. With his latest offing Hora Hori opened to poor reviews, the makers announced that they have trimmed the film by 15 minutes.

Initially director Teja wasn’t interested to cut short the length of the film and even made loud statements that no one could tell a filmmaker to trim the film’s length. Now that movie received severe brickbats from critics and many dubbed the film as an outdated story, rehash of the director’s previous works, makers seem to have persuaded Teja.

Featuring newcomers Dileep and Daksha in the lead roles, the romantic drama is produced by Damodar Prasad under Sri Ranjith Movies while ace producer Suresh Babu presented the film. In fact, producer Suresh Babu said to have asked Teja to trim the film after watching it before release.

Last Friday saw the launch of two of Bollywood’s most talked about stars, Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty, who made their filmy debut with the remake of Bollywood Superstar Salman Khan’s 1983 film with the same name, Hero. The film opened to scathing reviews from critics and even the audiences did not give into Salman’s aggressive promotions for these stars.

But, this young star couple and the film now has some strong support from our very own Tollywood star, none other than Superstar Mahesh Babu. This afternoon, Mahesh tweeted appreciating the film, “Saw ‘hero ‘. Thanks to salman for giving the industry 2 promising stars Suraj Pancholi and Athiya shetty. Congratulations to the entire team ..a job well done :).”

While Mahesh’s unexpected tweets indeed surprised everyone, there could be more than these appreciative tweets to the whole story. For the last couple of weeks, rumors of Salman Khan buying Hindi remake rights of Mahesh’s latest blockbuster, Srimanthudu. Mahesh is one of the producers of the film, and it could be a friendly gesture in turn by Mahesh to lend his supporting hand to the young stars being promoted by Salman.

Nandamuri Taraka Ratna is going through toughest phase in his career. His last film Bhaktha Siriyala released last year to disaster result. Since then, he didn’t commit any new project. Now, Taraka Ratna has decided to take up another profession. The Nandamuri hero is contesting for the post of Vice President at The Film Nagar Cultural Center (FNCC).

Meanwhile, the FNCC elections will take place on September 20th. Taraka Ratna is interested in politics like others in Nandamuri family. He campaigned for Telugu Desam Party in the last elections and lent his support for Chandrababu Naidu’s headship. Moreover, he attacked cousin Jr NTR for keeping away from poll campaigning and supported uncle Balakrishna.

Now, Taraka Ratna is contesting in FNCC elections. Srimitra group Chairman MV Chowdary is in race for President post, while Yalamanchili Suresh is for secretary, A.Jithendra Reddy (Chinna) is for Joint secretary and Shivaji Raja is for treasurer post. All these are against the supremacy of current chiefs KS Ramarao and KL Narayana who suspended 40 members from the panel.

Superstar Mahesh Babu is basking on the success of Srimanthudu. The Koratala Siva directorial provided much needed break for him after two consecutive flops. More than anything else, the film with good message has inspired many to take part in development of their own villages.

Surprisingly, except Ram Charan, no one in the industry congratulated Mahesh Babu on the success of Srimanthudu, as revealed by the superstar. Good to see, one star hero from industry appreciating the other star. Reacting to director Teja’s remarks of ‘industry people charity works is to enjoy deduction in income tax’, Mahesh Babu affirmed, “I don’t want to give it too much importance.

I don’t know what Teja exactly meant, but it’s okay.” In fact, Mahesh won’t give importance for other’s comments. He takes them lightly. Mahesh knows what exactly he is doing. Not just single village, he is adopting one from Andhra Pradesh (Burripalem) and other from Telangana (a backward village from Mahabubnagar district). If he really is adopting village for tax reduction, he would have not have taken up project in Telangana.

Likewise, Mahesh Babu took part in many charity events earlier to aid deprived. He is goodwill ambassador for Rainbow Hospital that is helping out poor ailing children. On film front, Mahesh Babu will soon join Brahmotsavam shooting. The film to be directed by Srikanth Addala will go on floors in next week.
