Tollywood is a mysterious world where all it takes is one sudden jolt to rattle even the biggest of the stars. After the colossal failure of Aagadu, one of the top ranked directors Sreenu Vaitla experienced the same. However, the director did not deter and quickly shifted his focus to Ram Charan’s film. According to insider’s buzz, Sreenu Vaitla has bid goodbye to his previous formula and took a complete shift with this film.

Usually, a typical Sreenu Vaitla film has the hero trespassing the villain’s den and winning him over with the help of a comedian, mostly Brahmanandam. From the successful Dhee and Ready until Aagadu, most of Sreenu Vaitla’s films followed the same screenplay structure. But for Charan’s film, the director is said to have followed a totally new narrative structure.

Insiders say that the typical Sreenu Vaitla flavor will only be seen in just 15 minutes and the rest of the film, it’s a brand new story and screenplay setup. The director, unlike his previous films, is not relying majorly on comedy but pumping Cherry’s film with high voltage action elements with a racy screenplay. The film’s stylish teaser already revealed what’s in store for fans. Let’s wait until Dasara to see the director unveiling his new weapon.

Director Teja is all set to try his luck once again at the box office. His next film, Hora Hori is releasing on September 11th. Teja had come up with all Telangana crew, a first ever feat in Telugu Cinema for this film.

The film is a love story which starts in the Telugu states and then moves to Karnataka. Well-known producer D.S. Rao is also making his acting debut with this film. Koduri Kalyan had composed music for the movie.

He reportedly hired close to 100 cast and crew members belonging to the newly formed Telangana Film Employees Federation.‘Hora Hori’ stars debutant actors Dilip and Chaswa. We hope Teja will be back in winning ways with this film.

The Mega60 birthday bash that took place at Park Hyatt on 22nd was a glittering success with celebs from all over the country attending the soiree organized perfectly by Ram Charan. A special menu was prepared for guests and the complete standout was the Chiru Dosa. Apparently, the dosas were made at Chiru’s house and the recipe was invented by none other than the Mega family itself.

Around 25 years ago, Chiru was shooting in Mysore and he ate soft, fluffy dosas served at a roadside dhaba. Chiru tried his best to find out the recipe from the dhaba owners but they refused. Even Chiru’s cook could not figure out the myth behind such fluffy dosas. On his return, Chiru, being a good cook himself, started experimenting on his own and in the process, he invented a totally new fluffy, oil-less dosa.

Many celebs like Rajinikanth, Sachin Tendulkar and Hollywood star Richard Gere are huge fans of these dosas which are served with groundnut chutney and veg or non-veg curries. Ram Charan has already applied for the patent right of these dosas with the name Chiru Dosa, and proudly says that the patent will be his birthday gift to his dad. Not stopping here, Cherry also has plans to start food trucks that will serve Chiru Dosas across AP and Telangana at affordable costs.

Two comments made by two different celebs are something Tollywood should serious look at. Generally we have this habit, praising the hero if a film scores a hit and cursing the director if a film flops. But these two will change your opinion forever.

In a recent interview, Mahesh Babu stated that whenever a film scores a hit, he gives the credit to the whole team but if its a flop, he will take it himself. ‘A flop has something to do with my decisions. I’ve not kept my image or my fans expectations in mind and selected a story. Such flops really affect me, but I’ve only me to blame’, said Mahesh.

On similar lines, ace producer Dil Raju stated that his over confidence on scripts led to few big flops in the recent past. ‘I’m little over confident while dealing with those scripts and haven’t listened to anyone’s advise. That worked against me and costed a bomb’, Raju agrees, probably the first producer who dared to blame himself for failures.

This is one of the greatest quality one has to learn from Mahesh Babu and Dil Raju. Accepting a failure will make you more stronger, open to more discussion than argument, more new thoughts rather jotting mistakes of others. Akhil Akkineni had bagged one more endorsement deal even before the release of his debut movie. He is already the brand ambassador of Titan watches and Mountain Dew. And now leading mobile manufacturer, Karbon Mobiles had roped him to endorse them.

The young Sisindri reportedly got a fancy offer for endorsing Karbon Mobiles. They will shoot a TV commercial on him very soon. Akhil is currently busy completing the shooting of his debut film. He already completed the movie shoot except for three songs.

The first look teaser of the movie will release on August 29th as Nagarjuna’s Birthday Special. VV Vinayak is trying his level best to give a sensational debut to Akhil. Accordingly the expectations and hype are skyrocketing as the movie release nears on October 21st.

Interesting news is emerging about Baahubali-2 from Filmnagar. Sources say the makers are in talks with Hollywood actor Nathan Jones to play an important role in the movie. The actor was seen in the role of Boagrius in Troy. He already made his debut in Indian Cinema through Kollywood.

He played the role of a fighter in Tamil film, Boologham. If this materialize, it will definitely be a value addition to Baahubali-2. The movie shooting is already 40% complete along with the first part shoot. The rest of the shoot will resume from October.

Prabhas and Rana will very soon begin workouts to tone their bodies before the movie shooting. It is said that the movie is planned for Dussehra 2016 release which means Rajamouli will take an year for the completion of the rest of the shoot and the post production.

Tamil hero, Vishal enjoys decent popularity in Telugu. Right from his Pandem Kodi, most of his films were dubbed in to Telugu and some of them raked in good numbers here. Now his next film, Payyuum Puli is being dubbed in to Telugu as Jayasurya.

It is said that Vishal is trying to expand his market in Telugu and is planning a direct Telugu movie. He recently met Koratala Siva and offered him a blank cheque remuneration if he does a project with him. However Koratala is yet to decide on this offer.

Koratala made a sensational debut to direction with Prabhas’ Mirchi and very recently, his second film, Srimanthudu became the second biggest hit of all time in Telugu Cinema. So, Vishal feels Koratala is a safe bet for his straight Telugu venture.
