Good films find no place in Tollywood: Dasari
After acquiring the status of a legendary director in Tollywood, Dasari Narayana Rao lost his shine with a string of miserable flops. In a recent interview, Dasari stated that audiences are no longer ready for his good films and stated Erra Bus as an example. Today, Dasari once again said that these are not the times for good films in Tollywood.
This morning, Dasari visited the Sri Kalahasti Temple and performed Rahu-Ketu prayers. The veteran director and politician has been stuck into the murky coal gate scam and his name was included in the charge sheet filed by the CBI. Dasari said that this is nothing but a political conspiracy and hoped that he will soon come out clean from the allegations.
Dasari also said that he himself advises everyone to make and watch films with good content and values. However, the veteran filmmaker lamented that even films with good stories are not being accepted by the audiences and that the state of small films is pathetic.
Balayya, Correct Those Physical Mistakes
“Lion” has finally arrived and it has shares of positive and negative stuff. Coming to the film’s lead Nandamuri Balakrishna, though fans are ready to accept whatever he does on silver screen some aspects are to be taken care of. Especially those physical aspects of him need to be corrected at the earliest.
In many close-shots, Balayya’s age is visible as he is failing to take care of his facial muscles and growing tummy. Like a Kamal Haasan, even Balayya looks damn handsome if he turns little slim. Also while romancing young heroines of 25-30 years age, he needs to take care of his makeup. Because in romantic scenes, that age-difference is getting visible. Probably it is better if Balayya stops doing intimate and naughty romances, which is way far from his age. Or he should pick heroines with matured look to do undertake such acts.
As Balayya’s 99th film is getting ready to roll in a couple of weeks, surely he has less time to slim down for the role. He need to make sure camera angles and other technical stuff will take care of his weakness that have come up with age. Maybe its the job of director and cinematographer to help Balayya a lot in this aspect.
Why Mahesh Inclined Towards Magaadu?
Murari, Okkadu, Athadu, Pokiri, Dookudu-All these films have one thing in common. Don’t say that they all have Superstar Mahesh Babu as their leading hero, because we all know that. Fact is that all these titles are three letter words when written in Telugu. That’s the sentiment that struck our leading numero uno star now.
While the the title “Srimanthudu” got quite familiar with fans and movie lovers, Mahesh Babu is mulling over a title change, which we already know that. Insiders shared us that this title-change is purely basing on sentiment of three-letter-words that won him success. Though flops like Khaleja and Aagadu are also similar 3 letter words, Mahesh feels that the sentiment spelled him a favour 80% of the time. That’s why he now wants “Srimanthudu” to be named as “Magaadu”. That clears all our doubts, isn’t it?
Coming to the film, Koratala Siva has almost wrapped the film and is busy canning scenes on lead casting in Hyderabad’s Ramoji Film City at the moment. For now July 17th is the release date of flick and may alter depending on other happening flicks at box office.
For Sale: Lion Piracy DVDs On Streets
Nandamuri Balakrishna’s summer entertainer, Lion, was released to humongous response from his fans. The film registered solid collections on its first day and ended up collecting decent figures even on its second day’s run, totalling more than 7.75 crores. However, the film is already facing a huge setback.
Within just one day of its release, Lion has fallen prey to the piracy menace with thousands of the film’s pirated DVDs being sold on the streets of Ongole town. Owing to the craze for the film, the DVDs are being sold like hotcakes and the local exhibitors are losing huge shares. Even bigger danger of the pirated DVDs being spread to other close towns and villages is frightening the distributors.
Soon after being informed, the Ongole town police have raided on the shops that are selling Lion’s pirated DVDs and took the pirates into their custody. Several cases have already been filed on the pirates. Apart from the huge production costs and other financial issues, the producers and the distributors are having sleepless nights due to piracy. Will there be a day where this menace will be curbed completely.
TSRTC’s masterstroke to People!
The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation which hit the recent headlines for an indefinite strike that has been called off after a serious warning from the High Court has unveiled its master stroke new to the public. As the RTC employees demand of hiking their fitment to 43% has been granted with an additional 1 %, the TSRTC is all set to hike the ticket rates.
The hiked rates are said to be effective from the Telangana Formation day that is June 2nd or later. It seems the hike of the rate will be at least 15% which is definitely a huge burden to the common man. This step has been taken to meet the requirement of hiked salaries which is a burden of Rs 500 crores to the government.
Not only the fitment but also the increase in diesel rates is forcing the TSRTC to hike the ticket rates. According to sources, Andhra Pradesh has been marked May 20th as the official separation of the RTC.

Sunny Leone Videos Lead To Rape
This is what a Mumbai based housewife says, ‘watching Sunny Leone’s videos could lead to rape. Her posts spoil the mind of people, mainly children’, after filing an obscenity complaint on former adult star Sunny Leone. Police too acted quite fast on the complaint, as they booked Sunny under Information Technology Act for obscenity and also charged under Indecent Representation of Women Act.

The police case has now been transferred to Thane Cyber Crime Cell and they are investigating the case. Legal experts that Sunny Leone’s website is like any other paid porn website that is in compliance with US laws and also Canadian laws. In that case, how come our ‘housewife’ attack this curvaceous siren in India is the question.
To take the website down, our authorities should work with USA and Canadian counterparts, while blocking in India could be done if a Court Order says it so. Let’s see what happens. Meanwhile ‘All India Sunny Leone Fans’ started supporting their diva on social network, while Sunny herself claimed no idea of the police case registered against her.

Chennai: Actress Shruti Haasan has reportedly been roped in for the third instalment of the “Singam” franchise. The film, which will be helmed by Hari Gopalakrishnan, also features Suriya and Anushka Shetty in the lead roles.
“Shruti is most likely to play the second lead. While she agreed to be part of the project, the paperwork is still pending. She’s expected to sign on the dotted line soon,” a source from the film’s unit told IANS.

She Pinned All Her Hopes On Puri’s Film
When the heroines are busy they tend to sign a lot of films, but there is no guarantee that they will release on time. But yes, irrespective of their fate at the box office, some films release and some films don’t.
And one film that was made and is ready for release is Jyothilakshmi that is being directed by Puri Jagannadh.
Long long ago, Mantra released and it was a hit. After that Charmme hardly got to do meaningful roles and she is now waiting for the release of Jyothilakshmi and Mantra 2.
However, Charmme herself is keen on Jyothilakshmi as the film is more up to date with present times. Of course, Charmme wants to have two hits, but Puri is surely leaving no stone unturned to ensure that Jyothilakshmi becomes a hit.
Mahesh Babu Condemns Rumors
There has been buzz about the title of upcoming Mahesh Babu’s film in few sections of media.
As per their claims Mahesh’s movie has been titled Magadu so that it appeals to the masses. However an official statement from the makers read that the title is not Magadu and it will be announced on May 31st along with the first look of the film.
It is widely spread that the film has been titled Srimanthudu, but none of the unit members have clarified it yet.

Wait for two more weeks to get the official confirmation from the makers. For now Magadu rumors can be put to rest.

Photo Feature: Ravishing Radhika Unleashes her Spicy Side
Radhika Apte has not shown her spicier side to Telugu audience yet. She was seen in four Telugu movies till now and she has done typical traditional type of roles in all of them.
Radhika Apte is a bold actress who could go to any extent if the script demands. Her frontal nudity in Anurag Kashyap’s short film created a lot of sensation.
Radhika’s skin show in Badlapur cannot be forgotten that easily. In this picture she unleashes her spicy side where she looks as ravishing as any hot babe out there. Telugu makers should take a cue out of this to rope Radhika in for a glamorous character maybe.
Ram Gopal Varma slams Bombay Velvet
Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap’s Bombay Velvet opened on Friday only to be skewered by critics and ignored at the box office and his colleague Ram Gopal Varma is gloating over the film’s dismal performance on Twitter.
Soon after Kashyap’s new ambitious film Bombay Velvet opened to dismaying reviews and collections, Ramu tweeted, “Because I am 1st maker of AAG I think I have experience and right to lay them on a velvety cushion and console the future AAGIANS….My velvety tears for the maker of a disaster like AAG are for the tragedy, that by being the butt of it, he himself doesn’t get to fuck it…The bottom line is everyone makes an AAG and till he makes his own AAG he will bitch about others AAGS until he too burns in his own AAG.”
Not endig at that, Ram Gopal Varma further tweeted, “There’s a very thin line between confidence and arrogance and only Velvets and AAGS can show the difference. A Slumdog making a film with millions of dollars will not necessarily make a Slumdog Millionaire. Karan Johar is the only Velvet and the rest is coarse.”
In another life, Anurag Kashyap and RGV were collaborators. Anurag wrote 1998’s Satya, the film that made RGV’s name. He also wrote Kaun? and the dialogues for Shool before falling out massively with RGV and later dismissing him publicly on Koffee With Karan saying, “Ram Gopal Varma was, not Ram Gopal Varma is.”
He also derided his erstwhile mentor’s much-reviled Sholay remake, ambitiously titled Ram Gopal Varma Ki Aag, which crashed and burned in spectacular fashion.
Is Lokesh rising too fast?
The regional parties in India are more or less the fiefdom of some families and beyond them, the mantle doesn’t get passed on to anyone else no matter how hard they may have been working. The same now holds good for YSRCP, TRS and TDP in Telugu states. For TDP chief Naidu, there is a bit of hurry to anoint Lokesh with key responsibilities.
Lokesh made his formal entry only two years ago and his campaign wasn’t that effective as well but he was anyway made in—charge of party cadre. This is usually considered as an ideal stint because it helps potential leaders to go in for mass contact and in return earn the goodwill of cadre which helps them to strengthen the base.
At a time when many MLC elections are nominations are due, Naidu has reportedly entrusted election of candidates to Lokesh and this is being seen by some people are too quick and in a too much hurry fashion. They feel Lokesh has a lot to learn before taking up such key tasks which would impact leader’s loyalty.
Elections are four years away but like Telangana, once the next election mood sets in, even in Andhra, Lokesh may be seen as an excuse for others to quit TDP. Hence, the progression of Lokesh into TDP echelons of power has to be gradual, feel TDP leaders and also analysts.
