The actor-turned-politician, Megastar of Tollywood Chiranjeevi today reached Renigunta airport to unveil the status of Sri Krishnadevaraya at Kadapa. It is common that fans come all along the way to see their favorite star directly but which is difficult in the huge crowd. So, few fans try out new stunts to get closer to the stars.

During Chiranjeevi’s visit, the fans barged into the actor which created lot of inconvenience to the actor. However, the body guard of Chiranjeevi man-handled one of the fans by beating him repeatedly on his head.  Even Chiranjeevi tried to push the fan away from him but could not so the bodyguard took charge.

This all happened when this unknown fan was coming really close to Chiranjeevi and as per security problems fans are not allowed to come so close. However, the bodyguard handled the  hard core fan very rudely. It is said that the fan was deeply upset with this charge.

Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Lion despite the negative talk and reviews, is doing exceedingly well at the box office. The movie’s box office performance even surprised many box office experts. However all those who watched the film say Satyadeva is the real culprit who let the film down.

He was not able to handle the movie’s screenplay and finally that affected the film. However Satyadeva says he has one more script ready for Balayya and given a chance he will narrate it to the actor. Satyadeva says the script is titled ‘Sarwabhouma’ and is a very powerful script suited to the box office bonanza.

Balayya is unlikely to give a chance to Satyadeva at least in near future. His next film in the direction of Srivas will go on floors next month. The film later is Balayya’s 100th film which is likely to be directed by Boyapati Srinu.

Ace director Ram Gopal Varma is churning out films one after the other for several years with out much success. His latest endeavour is ‘365 days’ releasing on May 22nd. The movie interestingly got a clean U certificate which is the first time for any RGV film in his two decade long career.

We spoke to people who watched the film in the censor screening and to our surprise, the reports are positive. The movie is about how a couple hurry in to marriage but part their ways in just 365 days of time. They say RGV portrayed the problems faced by them very well.

Special attraction is the voice-over of Ram Gopal Varma which comes as the film progress. They say the movie is lot better than many Ram Gopal Varma films off late. However the disappointing thing for the director’s fans is that there will not be any trade mark RGV’s mass and crime elements in the film.

Mozzart of Madras AR Rahman had fans across the globe panning many languages as they say music has no language. Being a busy man working even in English films, Rahman is working selectively in Indian films. But surprisingly he crooned a song for a Telugu movie. That too for a dubbing film.

AR Rahman sang all the songs for Dhanush’s Mariyaan and now the film is being dubbed in to Telugu. And AR Rahman immensely liked one of the songs in the film and he is also rendering it in Telugu too. Rahman recently recorded that song in his Los Angeles Studio.

Dhanush for several years did not have any market in Telugu. However his recent endeavour, Raghuvaran B.Tech is one of the biggest hits in Telugu in terms of Return on Investment. And so all of sudden, demand for the dubbing rights of his films suddenly increased.

Telugu film industry is catch 22 situation after the state bifurcation occurred. All the biggies of the industry are of Andhra Pradesh origin but the entire industry is situated in Hyderabad making life tough for them. They are left with no options but to falter Telangana Chief Minister, K Chandrasekhar Rao and his government.

Andhra Pradesh Film Chamber of Commerce had decided to participate in the Swachh Hyderabad. They organized a program this Sunday and called for all the artists, Producers, Directors, Technicians, Exhibitors, Distributors and Cine Workers to participate in the program.

KCR had taken this program very seriously. The entire city is divided in to 425 units for this program. Even the Chief Minister and Governor are allotted a division each to make the Swachh Hyderabad. We will have to see if all the industry biggies participate in the program at least to please KCR!

The main opposition party in Andhra Pradesh, YSR Congress is gearing up to complain about the film to the censor board. Jagan’s supporters who watched the film felt the film had several dialogues which intentionally targeted Jagan and aimed at maligning his character.

Nandamuri fans worry if this controversy create any problem to the movie running successfully in theaters. On the otherside, some say that this controversy will bring more publicity to the film which will in fact help the film.
