When Rahul Gandhi and the congress termed the Modi sarkar as a suit-boot regime, they were not making fun of Modi.
They were only referring to Modi’s alleged capitulation to the capitalists at the expense of the farming community.
When a group of BC leaders met Venkayya Naidu with a list of demands, Venkayya cleverly played the caste card there. “Should a BC not wear a suit? Is it only Congress leaders who are eligible to wear suits? What attire was the father of Rahul Gandhi who is making these statements, seen in?”
questioned Venkayya Naidu. “It is very cheap on the part of Congress to resort to such politics,” added Venkayya. No, it is you Mr. Venkayya Naidu that is indulging in cheap politics by linking the episode to caste.

The Delhi Daredevils Team Members need to really pray the god after they survived a air scare at the Swami Vivekanand airport in Raipur.
An Indigo Flight ferrying Delhi Daredevils Players from Bombay landed at the Raipur airport even as the flight which is ready to take off (Raipur-Kolkata) was still waiting on the runway. Soon after noticing the plane in front of him, The Pilot applied the breaks and changed the direction slightly to prevent a crash. This incident took place at around 12 PM on Friday.
Permitting a plane to land on the runway when another plane was ready to take off should be dealt seriously. DGCA has to take a note of it and avoid such lapses in future!

Another Senior Film Producer Dies
Senior Tollywood producer Kamineni Prasad has taken his final breath earlier today and the film industry seniors have mourned his death. Along with regular commercial films like Super Mogudu & Intinti Ramayanam, Prasad has tried an experimental flick like Anveshana with director Vamshi. He hails from Krishna district and his body is currently being taken to his native place Pedamuttevi in Movva mandal.
Kamineni was remembered for his guts in film making. When he approached Vamshi to make a film in 1984, the young director narrated a single line concept and the film went on to the floors without a bounded script. Even after facing many hurdles due to Indira Gandhi assassination, heavy rains, ill-health of heroine Bhanupriya – Prasad went on to support Vamshi in making Anveshana a cult classic film. Let’s pray for some strength to the family of Kamineni.
Fact Sheet: Laughing Out Loud!
A press release from the TDP office makes for highly amusing reading. The title of the press release says “Sri Nara Lokesh met with Barack Obama, President of the United States at Port Land.”
The title gives the impression that it is a meeting between two heads of State. And it is not exactly a meeting either.
Lokesh just bought the chance to shake hands with Obama by paying ten thousand dollars to the fund raising event. Since the President can’t just shake the hands of the donors and ask them to leave, he asks a few courtesy questions of the donors as briefed by his aides.
Reportedly, Obama asked Lokesh to convey his wishes to Chandrababu Naidu and Lokesh briefed Obama on the smart city projects in AP. Thankfully, the press release stopped at that.
But it would have come as no surprise if they had also written that Obama said that he was a huge fan of NTR, that he had watched ‘Legend’ and thoroughly enjoyed Balayya’s acting and was also looking forward to the release of ‘Lion’.
Paying The Price For Honesty!
Finally, it was the evidence of Ravindra Patel, Salman’s bodyguard that proved to be instrumental in the actor being convicted.
At the last minute even though, Salman’s driver Ashok Singh claimed that it was he who was driving the car at the time of the accident, the Court refused to believe him.
On the fateful day, Ravindra Patil had asked Salman not to drive the car as he was in an inebriated condition.
The actor paid no heed to his words and the tragedy happened. Ravindra Patil was a constable with the Mumbai police and scheduled for commando training. In physique, he was a match to Salman. He was assigned as Salman’s bodyguard after the latter received threats from the underworld.
Immediately after the accident, Ravindra went to the Bandra police station and filed a complaint. He was behaving like an honest cop instead of hushing up matters.
He narrated exactly what happened to the police and a case was registered against Salman. He even appeared in Court and testified. That was the day his life was about to come apart.
As he was a witness in a high profile case, Ravindra was dropped from the commando training team. Subjected to unbearable pressure and harassment from his own police department, Ravindra frequently abstained from his duties as a constable and even left Mumbai. His brother even filed a missing complaint.
When Salman’s case came up for hearing as Ravindra was not present, arrest warrants were issued against him and he was finally arrested in Mahabaleshwar.
A man who was trained as a commando was now a convict. After his release from jail, he was afflicted with a disease and his weight came down to a shocking 30 kgs. He was dismissed from his job of a constable and his wife also divorced him.
Reduced to the status of a beggar, Ravindra’s disease worsened and he could barely talk or walk and lost all his hair. He breathed his last in a hospital in 2007.
Prior to his death, Ravindra told media persons: “That accident destroyed my life.” And today, Twitter is abuzz with comments of sympathy and outpouring of grief for Salman who is known for ‘Being Human’.
Muni-4 Script is ready!
Ganga is the third installment in the Muni series after Muni and Kanchana. All the movies in Muni series have done very well commercially. The director says like the movies in the James Bond series, all the movies in Muni series are not related to each other.
He added that he is willing to make more than 10 movies in Muni series as the concept has in it to attract audience. Lawerence also clarified that the script work of Muni-4 is also ready and he will kick-start the project very soon.
The choreographer cum director refused to divulge any details of the project except that Kovai Sarla will be playing his mother in Muni-4 as well as all the films in Muni series. On the other side, all the buyers of Ganga are entering in to profits in the first week of its release itself.
Every thing that comes from tomorrow goes in to profits. On the other side, Kanchana is being made in Bollywood. Tapsee, the female lead in Ganga, will be co-producing a film along with director-producer Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The film is in the initial stages of production and a formal announcement will be made soon.
Rajamouli introduces Super Powerful Sivagami!
Maverick director Rajamouli had introduced one more character of his magnum opus film, Baahubali. This time it is veteran actress Ramya Krishna who is making a comeback to Telugu as Sivagami. Her getup looks super powerful and as an extension of Neelambari role in Narasimha which is her best performance till date.
Rajamouli heaped praises on her saying he never handled a role so intense or actor so capable in his career. He also added she is a driving force to Baahubali team in this 2.5 years. Baahubali is the biggest budget movie ever made on Telugu Screen.
Three years of hard work had gone in to the project. Prabhas had pinned high hopes on the film to catapult him to the next level. The movie is already creating never before seen records in Telugu film trade. Sabu Cyril has created the sets while Senthil is handling the camera.
The movie, which is being produced by Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni. under Arka Media banner, will be presented by K Raghavendra Rao. Renowned engineer P. M. Sateesh is working on the sound design and Debajit Changmai (Debu) is working on sound mixing.
Hansika Teams up Fourth Time With Him
Actress Hansika Motwani has for the fourth time collaborated with actor-filmmaker Sundar C for upcoming Tamil horror-comedy “Aranmanai 2”. She had played the lead in the prequel.
“The #Aranmanai brand is back. Shook hands for the fourth time. Me & my favourite Sundar sir. #Aranmanai2 (sic),” Hansika posted on Twitter on Friday.
“Aranmanai 2” already features Trisha Krishnan and Siddharth.
One of the biggest Tamil hits of last year, the sequel to “Aranmanai” also features comedian Soori in an important role.

Other than that, Hansika currently has five Tamil projects in her kitty.
