Stylish Star Allu Arjun’s Son of Satyamurthy is nearing the magical 50 Crore share mark. The movie had amassed 49.03 Crore share Worldwide in its four weeks run so far.
The film is more likely to cross the 50 Crore share mark and will be second such 50 Crore share film in Allu Arjun’s career after Race Gurram. Even though the movie carried mixed talks and reviews, Trivikram’s popularity, Summer holidays and no proper competition, helped the film immensely at the box office.

Poor Graphics in Baahubali
SS Rajamouli’s Magnum Opus film Baahubali was supposed to release the next week but is now postponed to July 10th. Rajamouli announced that the delay in the post production work forced the movie postponement.
But the sources tell us that the director was very disappointed with the poor quality graphics produced so far and he reprimanded the companies for the work. A second take is now necessary for many CG shots and so the movie had to be pushed back.
17 Vfx studios with 600 artists are working for Baahubali on double shifts. Baahubali is the biggest budget movie ever made on Telugu Screen. Three years of hard work had gone in to the project. Prabhas had pinned high hopes on the film to catapult him to the next level.
The movie is already creating never before seen records in Telugu film trade. Sabu Cyril has created the sets while Senthil is handling the camera. The movie, which is being produced by Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni.
under Arka Media banner, will be presented by K Raghavendra Rao. Renowned engineer P. M. Sateesh is working on the sound design and Debajit Changmai (Debu) is working on sound mixing.
Brahmi as Weekend Venkatrao in Pandaga Chesko!
Energetic Actor Ram’s Pandaga Chesko is gearing up for release this May as Summer Special. The movie is carrying very positive report in the industry. It is said that Brahmanandham’s comedy is the major highlight in the film.
He will be seen as Weekend Venkatrao in the film and will bring in huge laughter in the film. The film is currently in extensive post production phase. Post Kandireega, Ram is struggling in his career and has three back to back failures – Endhukante Premanta, Ongole Gitta and Masala.
He is eager to make a comeback with this film. Rakul Preet Singh and Sonal Chauhan are playing the female leads in this film. Balupu fame Gopichand Malineni is wielding the megaphone for this movie. He had got a tag of minimum guarantee director off late.
His last film, Balupu is a blockbuster. ‘Simha Producer’ Parchuri Kireeti is producing the film on his United Movies banner. Touted to be a full length entertainer, the film has music scored by Thaman. Kona Venkat has penned the dialogues. Arthur A.Wilson will be cranking the camera.
Will She Still Be Hot On Screen?
Vidya Balan became a national sensation after ‘The Dirty Picture’. Hitherto seen in conventional roles, Vidya shed all inhibitions and appeared in an extremely sexy avatar in that movie which was a runaway success. After her marriage to Siddharth Roy Kapoor, she has not bid adieu to films but is continuing with her career.
Her forthcoming film ‘Hamari Adhuri Kahaani’ has already created a lot of hype owing to its storyline. Apparently it is the story of a married woman madly in love with another person. The movie is directed by Mohit Suri of Aashiqi2 and Murder 2 fame. The hero of the film is Emraan Hashmi.
Now an Emraan Hashmi film without a lip-lock is as rare as a camel without a hump. So, did Vidya lock lips with Emraan for this film? Is it true that there are some really steamy scenes in the film? We have to wait for the release to find out.
Babu’s Differing Views On Special Status
Poor Chandra Babu Naidu, he seems to be undecided regarding Centre giving special status to Andhra Pradesh. On one occasion he had said that he totally supported those agitating for special status of Andhra Pradesh. On yet another occasion, Babu said special status was just a token gesture and that it would not benefit the state or anyone in it.
He went on to add that though the Centre had given special status to some states, they did not bother to give any funds to them and hence said that merely giving special status without releasing funds did not serve any purpose.
But it is a new tune definitely as it is not clear as to why Babu is trying to stress the uselessness of getting special status without getting any funds. So is Babu trying to divert attention since his political ally BJP is in power at the Centre? While that is unclear as yet, Babu says that the Centre must ensure that the development of Andhra Pradesh happens on par with other states.
It’s A Boy For Soundarya Rajinikanth
Chennai: Filmmaker Soundarya Rajinikanth, daughter of superstar Rajinikanth, delivered a baby boy at a private hospital here. “The baby was born late on Wednesday night at Apollo hospital. Both — the baby and the mother — are absolutely fine,” a source close to Rajinikanth told IANS.
Soundarya married Ashwin Ramkumar, an industrialist, in 2010. This is the couple’s first child. Soundarya is known for directing India’s first motion capture animated film “Kochadaiyaan”, featuring her father.
In 2013, at the audio launch of “Kochadaiyaan”, Rajini publicly wished for his daughter Soundarya to settle down with a family and chase her filmmaking dream subsequently. Rajinikanth already has two grandsons, Yatra and Linga, from his second daughter Aishwarya, who is married to popular actor Dhanush.
