I don’t wait for them – Sams

Share

SamanthaOnce again Samantha made her agenda clear. Rather acting in real-life like those other top starlets who complain about directors not coming up with such innovative roles, this Chennai hottie insists that commercial cinema is what people loves and she loves.

“Artistic roles are not my cup of tea, because I’m here in this industry to do films but not to differentiate them and take up selective work. Such kind of artistic roles don’t easily exist in films unlike these stints in commercial pot boilers”, says Samantha. She gets more upright with her next comment. “There are no great heroine roles here. And I can’t wait for one, because people will forget me then. Forget your performance, its box office that matters”, she says, standing firm on her decisions.

That’s how Samantha looks at film industry and her chances in the business. Some many render her as money-minded heroine, but definitely she isn’t that type and her silent charity work speaks volume about her character. Speaking with a leading english daily, Samantha revealed shared these thoughts.

Her Murder Is Not My Cup Of Tea – Kushboo

kushboo

Couple of days back Kannada Director AMR Ramesh accused that actress-politician Kushboo is enquiring about the story of his upcoming film, titled Game. Buzz has that this film is loosely based on business women Sunanda Pushkar’s unnatural death, who happens to be wife of former Minister Sashi Tharoor.

Responding on these claims, Kushboo made her points clear. “Just for being a member of Congress party, why would I have special interest in Shashi Taroor’s wife’s death?”, she questioned. “As I was asked for a 3 days dates for the shoot of Ramesh’s movie, naturally I asked them what the story was. Its that simple”, Kushboo adds. She made it clear that Sunanda’s so called murder or a movie over that is not her cup of tea.

On the contrary side, whatever film has to be made on Sunanda Pushkar’s death will be a pure assumption and creative intelligence of film makers. For a case that is under probe now, how would anyone know about the presence of a conspiracy and the people behind it?
