Naga Chaitanya’s Dochey had a very poor opening on Friday, its release day. The movie had just 1.76 Crore share in both the states as the movie recorded collections lower than Chaitanya’s last outing, Oka Laila Kosam. Bad Publicity is said to be the major reasons for this poor turnout. Here is the breakup of Dochey first day collections:

East: 17.32 Lakhs
West: 13 Lakhs
Krishna: 14.13 Lakhs

Universal Hero Kamal Hassan’s daughter and one of the busiest heroine across Telugu, Tamil and Hindi industries, Shruti Hassan says she will marry a guy only after she liked him. When asked about her marriage plans and the qualities she is looking for in her man, she said, “Iam not thinking of marriage right now. My man should steal my heart and keep me in his heart”.

She quickly adds more, “Given an option I will prefer not to marry at all as marriage will come up with lot of problems. But I am not against to the institution of marriage”. She also revealed that she would prefer to marry some one from the industry as they would probably understand the pros and cons in the industry. However she confirmed that she never met anyone till now.

Shruti Hassan is currently pairing up with Mahesh Babu in Srimanthudu. This is her first time with the Superstar after that special song for him in Aagadu. She recently missed out the bilingual multistarer of Karthi and Nagarjuna due to dates problem.

In the wake of a gang of top producers deciding to advertise only with Top 2 Telugu news channels and cutting out promotions to other channels, now a steamy war is taking place between media folks and cine celebrities. After mega producer Bandla Ganesh washed his hands off this issue by claiming innocence of the decision taken and stating that he is not party with it, here comes King Nagarjuna.

‘I’ve no issues with any media house or media person. And I’ll respect the decisions that are taken only by Film Chamber, Producers Council and other legal bodies. I would love to follow their decisions. Otherwise, I’ve no interference with any of the certain decisions taken by some people’, said Nagarjuna, as published by a leading print media house. This is quite a diplomatic statement by the Annapurna Studios head for sure.

On flip side, almost all the big producers are firm on their stand of denying advertisements to all the 20+ Telugu channels as that is costing them nearly 40 lakhs budget.

Chinmayi, the better half of Rahul Ravindran is a popular dubbing artiste and singer too. She was first introduced to the Telugu people when she dubbed for Sameera Reddy in ‘Surya s/o Krishnan’.

But her first big break came when she dubbed for Samantha in her debut movie ‘Ye Maaya Chesave’.

Her voice matched beautifully with Samantha’s expressions and since then she has been a regular for Samantha. Naturally, this success resulted in Chinmayi being asked to dub for Shruti Haasan in ‘Gabbar Singh’, Sonakshi Sinha in ‘Lingaa’ and Pooja Hegde in ‘Oka Laila Kosam’.

Chinmayi dubbed for Kriti Sanon in ‘Dohchay’. Kriti plays an aggressive, loquacious female in the movie who smokes and, Chinmayi’s sweet voice did not match the on screen persona of Kriti, especially in the first scenes.

The dubbing should be in accordance with the role of the heroine also and in this case, the makers seem to have merely gone by reputation and not the demands of the script.
