Allari Naresh is one actor who is loved by both the media and the public for being a very down-to-earth person.

Naresh and his brother Rajesh recently revived the EVV banner and made the film Bandipotu. However, the movie was a failure and Naresh who was banking a lot on the movie was naturally disappointed.

“Today, audiences expect something different on screen. They are no longer satisfied with routine stuff. It was for this reason that we decided on a classic director like Mohan Krishna Indraganti as director for Bandipotu.”

“Earlier my movies did have a tinge of vulgarity associated with the comedy. I wanted to go in for clean comedy. Hence the choice of Indraganti. When I listened to the script, I was very convinced. We did not compromise on the making of the film either. However, the result left us all disappointed. That’s life,” said Allari Naresh.

He also candidly said that at this stage in his career, he could not risk coming out of the comedy genre and doing other kinds of movies.

“I did ‘Pellaindi Kaani’ in the past. It was a different film for me and a failure,” said Naresh.

He is currently doing ‘Naa Pellam Bommali’. Naresh said that he would continue to make films on the EVV Banner and was looking forward to encourage new talent.

If industry sources are to be believed, superstar Rajinikanth and filmmaker S. Shankar are most likely to team up for the third time in a yet-untitled Tamil project, which is currently in discussion phase.

The makers of recent Tamil blockbuster “Kaththi” are expected to support the project financially.

“It is not known whether Rajinikanth and Shankar are teaming up for ‘Enthiran 2’, but they are likely to come together for a project soon. Lyca, the producers of ‘Kaththi’ will produce this project,” a source told IANS.

Apparently, Shankar had approached actor-filmmaker Kamal Haasan to be part of the project as well.

“Kamal sir was approached but he turned down the offer for unknown reasons. He was even narrated the story,” the source said.

Shankar now plans to rope in actor Vikram instead.

Rajinikanth and Shankar had previously worked in two blockbusters, “Sivaji” and “Enthiran”.

Vexed up with this demon, Maniratnam approached the Madras High Court against twelve Internet Service Providers (ISPs) and two websites which are said to be helping the hosting of the film’s pirated version. The court accepted to take up the petition for trialing and immediately granted an interim ban on the accused ISPs and websites.

In the petition, Mani Ratnam opined that online piracy can be curbed only by blocking the access to websites that host pirated films and that the ISPs should join hands in ending the piracy menace. Several attempts similar to this happened in the past with out much success, we only hope Maniratnam will win his case!

“The movie begins in a hotel room where two crooks Raghu and Bharath (Raviteja Brothers) are counting their loot of 25 Crore and then suddenly they hear the calling bell ringing. And then the movie pans in to the actual story – Rao Ramesh is a honest man who operates a Taxi to make his both ends meet. One day, he finds himself in a mess and gets arrested for a robbery leaving his family in financial tanglers

Naga Chaitanya, Rao Ramesh’s son turns a conman (cheater) to fund his sister’s medicine fee and money to get Rao Ramesh released. One day he bumps in to a Personal Assistant of the home minister who promises him a big deal for the commission of 2 Crore.

The PA asks Naga Chainatya to come for a popular hotel in a city for discussing the plan. Naga Chaitanya reaches the hotel where he finds the two rooms with same number, he rings the bell of one room and then he finds Raghu and Bharath counting notes (Opening scene of the movie). They kill each other shooting out of confusion and Chaitanya will have all that money ending all his problems. There is a love track with Kriti Sanon and comedy track with Brahmanandham (as Bullet Raja) which comes as fillers in between the story.
