OK Bangaram Review
Ok Bangaram is a love story about live in relationship that happened between the lead pair in Mumbai. Some situations between hero Dulquer Salmaan and Heroine Nitya Menon made them to live together in a house at Mumbai Before leaving to abroad. After a series of disasters, the master of storytelling, Mani Ratnam, is coming back with a contemporary love story, OK Bangaram. Let us see OK Bangaram Review, if the legend has lived up to the revere.
Story:
An urbane love story with no melodrama yet utterly emotional. It is a story that narrates you the journey of a like minded couple from love to marriage. How they change their mind about relation ships, over time, forms the crux of the story. OK Bangaram is not about the story perhaps the story telling. The ethereal characters and the intense narration takes you through a joyous ride.
Performances:
Talking about the characters or the performances, you cannot individually judge Taara and Adhi. Yeah! we prefer to call them with the given character names, since we haven’t really seen Nithya Menen and Dulquer Salmaan on screen. They make you believe in the characters and lets you travel along with them. Taara and Aadhi makes an adorable pair and OK Bangaram is all about the life they have given to the catalytic events narrated by Mani Ratnam. Prakash Raj and Leela Samson has done their job well as the supporting cast.
Technical Aspects:
Pure Class. P C Sreeram and Mani Ratnam makes you feel nostalgic, taking back to the locations of Sakhi. P.C. Sreeram’s cinematography takes the film notches higher. He plays with the hues and the lights and sets the mood for the film, never really letting the frame have any jarring element.
Mani Ratnam‘s lives up to the unconditional love and respect he gets. He played it safe by adding a urbane touch to his own old classics. Initially the movie might appear very artificial and slow but Mani does his magic with each scene and by the end, the characters grow on you.
A R Rahman waves his musical wand through out the film. The songs gets stuck in the mind after the movie and they might never leave your playlist if you could connect with OK Bangaram. Especially the back ground music in the last 30 mins with the single vocal, makes you realize why he is a legend of Indian cinema.

Overview:
Mani Ratnam is finally back on the pedestal with OK Bangaram. However, It is neither a classic nor a master piece, but is a journey you should surely witness. If you are OK with the slow narrative style, you got to go watch OK Bangaram and fall in love with Taara and Aadhi.

List Of Most Desirable Men 2014 – Rana beats Mahesh Babu
It is that time of the year to know the most desirable man among the state’s young and talented hunks. The most handsome bachelor of tinsel town has over powered Mahesh Babu and won the tag of Most Desirable Man of 2014. In a survey conducted by a leading daily, we have got some interesting list of results.
While Rana topped the list, Mahesh Babu and Prabhas accompanied him in the second and third positions respectively. It came as a shocker for Pawan Kalyan fans, when they realized their matinee idol is not even listed among the top most desirable men by the newspaper. What is more surprising is, we have our magical director, Trivikram in the list, among all other T-town lads.

MAA stars to pay more attention on Politics !
Couple of weeks ago, Tollywood was ablaze with intense heat during the election campaign of Movie Artistes’ Association (MAA) Presidency elections. Several popular stars took part in the election campaign and created havoc with their allegations on opposition, threats, abusive and filthy language and even crying, the kind of drama which we normally find among the real politicians.
However, all the hatred and animosity disappeared among these warring actors soon after the elections are over and they all claimed that there is no issue among them and that they are all close relatives in the Tollywood family. This melodrama made everyone wonder if these stars are actually using the MAA elections as a gateway to fulltime active politics.
Already, Murali Mohan, the working President of MAA is an MP from Rajahmundry and Jayasudha and her panel member Naresh too have immense political experience. While Rajendra Prasad is a novice to politics, his future political aspirations cannot be ruled out. And lastly, Hema contested in the 2014 general elections on behalf of Jai Samaikyandhra Party and suffered a shameful defeat.
Now that film stars are nowhere far from active politics and that most of them nurture political ambitions rather secretly, their dramatic show during the election campaign is nothing short of political spectacle and in some meetings they even surpassed the real politicians. There is no doubt that these stars have managed to make several political party heads take notice of their political mastery. Dulquer Salmaan’s Apologies To Telugu Fans !
Dulquer Salmaan, who is foraying in to Telugu cinema with OK Bangaram, has been fetching in immense craze, way before his first release. Being the son of Malayalam Megastar Mammootty, the actor has managed to have a wide recognition in all the languages. Though Dulquer has never really made an appearance before the Telugu movie lovers, his film, OK Bangaram is getting him enough attention.
As a token of respect for the unconditional love, Dulquer has extended his apologies to Telugu film fans. He conveyed his regrets through his official twitter page, for missing out the audio success meet of OK Bangaram. The team was in Hyderabad, yesterday, to celebrate the blockbuster audio and interact with the local media. Nithya Menen took charge, and on behalf of Dulquer and conveyed his regrets to the media men and the guests at the function.
Dulquer was supposed to attend the launch of Prince Diamond Collection, at Chennai, so he had no other way than to miss the event. Though it is a simple gesture from the hero to his fans, his sweet attitude is being talked about much in the film circles. Meanwhile, let us Hope OK Bangaram becomes a big hit and paves a way for Dulquer in the Telugu industry.
Nikhil next to be a Bollywood remake?
Actor Nikhil’s who is enjoying the victory of his latest film Surya Vs Surya is gearing up for his next. According to the latest update, we heard that Nikhil’s next movie is based on a Bollywood remake.
There were reports that Nikhil will be teaming up with Kona Venkat where he is going to produce “Shankara Bharanam” under the banner MVV Cinema. Now, the fresh reports suggest that Nikhil’s next movie will be the remake of Bollywood’s super hit comedy movie Phas Gaye Re Obama.
An official confirmation is awaited regarding the same. Sources say that Uday Nandanavanam will direct this movie. Lakkiraju will score the music. The other cast and crew details will be revealed soon.
