Aishwarya Lekshmi Rejects Social Media Comeback Despite ₹100 Crore Offer

Actress Aishwarya Lekshmi has once again opened up about her decision to stay away from social media, revealing that she has no plans to make a comeback despite any financial offer.
Known for choosing performance-driven roles over conventional glamour-based characters, Aishwarya has created a strong identity in South Indian cinema. Before entering films, the actress completed her medical studies and later impressed audiences with her performances in movies like ‘Ponniyin Selvan 2’, ‘King of Kotha’, ‘Thug Life’, ‘Matti Kusthi’, and ‘Godse’. She is also set to appear in the upcoming Telugu film ‘Sambarala Yeti Gattu’ alongside Sai Durgha Tej.
During the promotions of ‘Matti Kusthi 2’, Aishwarya spoke about her experience with social media and why she chose to step away from online platforms. She said that she does not consider social media a safe space and that her life has become much more peaceful after distancing herself from it.
The actress revealed that she had faced unpleasant experiences in the past, including edited images being circulated and receiving hurtful comments online. She said those incidents made her feel as though she was constantly surrounded by negativity, which eventually led her to quit social media.
Making a strong statement, Aishwarya said that even an offer of ₹100 crore per day would not convince her to return to social media. She added that she now prefers interacting with fans directly rather than maintaining a connection through digital platforms.
Interestingly, the actress mentioned that she occasionally uses her pet dog’s Instagram account to share updates related to her films and other important moments.
Meanwhile, Aishwarya Lekshmi continues to explore diverse roles. Apart from ‘Matti Kusthi 2’, she will soon be seen portraying a police officer in an upcoming project and has also signed a women-centric film directed by Aishwaryanand.
