A fresh box-office clash is shaping up as Lenin, starring Akhil Akkineni, is officially set to release on June 26—the same date already locked by Peddi.

The announcement came from Nagarjuna Akkineni, who recently watched the first cut of Lenin. Impressed with the film, he described it as “fantastic” and revealed that it presents a completely new side of Akhil. Confident about the project, he urged audiences to take note of the release date.

What makes this more interesting is the strong buzz around Peddi, directed by Buchi Babu Sana, which was already scheduled for the same day. With both films targeting June 26, a direct box-office clash now seems inevitable.
Lenin features Akhil alongside Bhagyashri Borse and is directed by Murali Kishore Abburu. The film is produced by Sithara Entertainments in association with Manam Entertainments, with Annapurna Studios presenting it. Music is composed by Thaman S, and the songs released so far have already created a decent buzz.

With Nagarjuna’s strong endorsement and rising expectations, Lenin has made its move. The spotlight now shifts to how this clash with Peddi unfolds at the box office.
