Yesteryear Southern Super Stars are all bracing up for their most-anticipated reunion this year too. The stars who ruled the industry in 1980s and 90s will all get together yearly once taking time out of their usual schedule. Four years ago, actress-writer Suhasini Mani Ratnam has taken initiative to form a group of 1980 stars.
The list of heavyweights include Rajinikanth, Chiranjeevi, Balakrishna, Venkatesh, Mohanlal, Ambareesh, Suman, Bhanuchander, Arjun, Naresh, Suhasini, Radhika, Radha, Ramya Krishna, Suma Latha, Khushboo and etc. Every year in January, the group will go on a trip for two days and spend joyfully.
The rule is that everyone should come alone leaving their families at home. Arrangements are in full place for the coming New Year as well.This time, the group is contemplating to meet in February. Kamal Haasan who gave it a miss last time might join this year’s event.
