BJP leader as TTD Chairman?
There have been some rumours doing rounds of late regarding the new executive board of TTD after AP CM Chandrababu abolished it few weeks ago. Now time is running up for the new board and there have been reports that as promised the chairman post would go to TDP leader from the region, Chadalavada but at the same time there has been news of pressure from Modi and BJP chief Amit Shah on Babu to accommodate their supporters from the North and Gujarat.
However, there seems to be a shocking news for TDP coming in that a BJP leader might be given the post of TTD Chairman and this is likely Vizag MP Hari Babu although BJP is still yet to finalize his candidature for the richest temple shrine in India. The only consolation, if this news is true is that he is from the same caste mostly favored by TDP and since BJP might be all set to grab it, the grapevine is that Babu may be not clear as to how he can proceed ahead and convince his men.
Not Vikram, Pawan Kalyan in deep Trouble!
The war between ‘I’ and ‘Gopala Gopala’ got intensified with the latest move by Shankar & Co. Actually, ‘I’ was slated to release on January 9th leading to a 5-day gap with another biggie ‘Gopala Gopala’. To everyone’s surprise, Makers of this Romantic Thriller yet again hints postponement of release from 9th to 14th of January. As per sources, Censor Certificate and Finance Issues were the reason behind the delay in ‘I ‘ release.
While Censor Board issued an ‘U/A’ certificate for ‘I’, Producer Oscar Ravichandran badly wants Clean ‘U’ certificate to get Tax Exemption in Tamil Nadu. So, He approached Revising Committee for a re-Censor and this time taking procedure led to further postponement.
Had if ‘Gopala Gopala’ & ‘I’ hits the screens on January 14th, Pawan Kalyan and Venkatesh starrer will have a tough time in B & C Centres as this flick have very few elements which will be embrassed by the masses. Whereas Shankar’s ‘I’ caters to all age groups irrespective of A, B & C Centres. Of Course, ‘Gopala Gopala’ will suffer only if ‘I’ hits the bull’s eye,.but you can never underestimate Shankar!
New Record: Rs 25 Crores For This Top Telugu Star?
Of course, one cannot claim to have inside knowledge of the remunerations charged by top heroes in any industry. While the income tax department could have some clue, there is no guarantee that the figure will be correct as they will know only what is given in white. What is given in black money is not known to others barring the hero and the producer.
But once in a while, news trickles out. It is a known fact that Mahesh leads the pack when it comes to remuneration in Telugu. Pawan Kalyan too gets a remuneration that is nearer to Mahesh. Till recently, it was said that Mahesh was being given Rs 14 to Rs 16 crores as remuneration. Then the figure went up to Rs 18 crores. Talk in industry is that Mahesh got huge remuneration for big films like Dookudu, Businessman and 1-Nenokkadine. Pawan Kalyan too made similar money for Attarintiki Daaredi.
Till then, Pawan mostly did films due to personal and professional obligations. Then, there was a phase when he did not get good films. So, he has been behind Mahesh in terms of his remuneration. Pawan apart, Mahesh is now all set to create a new record. The hot gossip doing rounds in Film Nagar is that PVP Banner has offered Mahesh a whopping Rs 25 crores to do their film Brahmotsavam. The film will be directed by Srikanth Addala.
Wonder when Pawan Kalyan will match up to Mahesh’s record? Incidentally, Gabbar Singh 2 is almost his own project. Same is the case with Gopala Gopala. Those in industry feel that if he gets the right producer and if Pawan okays the project, Pawan too has similar capacity.
Dy CM Pats Jagan, Blasts Naidu
In what can be considered as an open revolt, Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister K E Krishnamurthy on Tuesday strongly criticized Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for trying to dominate the Assembly proceedings and not giving any chance to his Cabinet colleagues to speak. In the same breath, Krishnamurthy gave a pat to Leader of the Opposition Y S Jaganmohan Reddy for improving his speech and timely raking up the issues in the Assembly.
Interacting with media persons in the Assembly Lobbies here after a break, Krishnamurthy said Naidu was ignoring the ministers and other members of the ruling party and was talking on the issues raked up by the Opposition. “The ministers ought to respond on the issues taken up by the Opposition,” he maintained.
He said Jagan had timely raised the issues in the House and the government had to give priority to the Rayalaseema region with respect to supply of irrigation waters. “I have already informed the Chief Minister about this,” he said. “The YSRCP was taking every chance on the issues being responded by the CM.
Though we are not inviting, many leaders from YSRCP are willing to join the ruling TDP,” he said. Krishnamurthy said a foundation stone for the new capital would be laid after getting all resources which may take two more years. Jagan’s speech might have impressed the peasants, who are denying land for the new capital region, he added.

After listening to that Mega Prince title everyone thought that this would be apt for him. But giving shock some of the Mega fans are openly requesting Mega Family and other Mega fans to remove the Prince title for Varun Tej.
Going in detail, Yesterday Naga Babu organised special meet followed by lunch to all Mega fans from two states Andhra & Telanaga in a popular hotel, Hyderabad to introduce his son Varun Tej to all Mega fans where his debut film “Mukunda” is releasing worldwide on tomorrow.
During the Press meet one of the Mega fans asks to remove Prince Word from Varun Tej title and he asked them to keep any name like “Aruadugula Bullet…’ etc to him. Naga Babu & Varun Tej who are present at the press meet are little bit shocked later they realized what confusing fans are facing. Lets us wait and see will they change “Mega Prince” title to some other for Varun tej or not!!!

K Balachander is No More!
Veteran filmmaker K Balachander (84) passed away due to prolonged illness on Tuesday while undergoing treatment at Kauvery Hospital in Chennai. K Balachander was born on July 9th, 1930. He directed 101 films in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Hindi. He was a recipient of 9 National awards and was conferred with Dadasaheb Phalke Award in the year 2011.
Padma Shri, Kalaimamani and ANR National Award are the other prestigious awards that came by his way. He is a mentor to Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan and Prakash Raj. K Balachander made his directorial debut with ‘Neer Kumizhi’ and his last flick ‘Abaddam’ released in the year 2006.
‘Maro Charithra’, ‘Idhi Katha Kadu’ and ‘Rudraveena’ were some of his best works. As Producer, He made successful films like ‘Roja’ and ‘Muthu’. He also directed ‘Rahasyam’ & ‘Marmadesam’ which were still touted to be the best suspense thrillers ever made on Television.
Chiru for Mukunda, Pawan for Chinnadana
With Varun Tej-starrer Mukunda and Nithiin-starrer Chinnadana Neekosam are in race for Christmas and there is jostle for screens, “Mega” fans seem to have divided over the two films. There is a quandary over Mega fans as one section wants Mukunda to be successful and the other section is expecting Chinnadana to do well at the marquee.
This is even troubling the Mega brothers Naga Babu and Chiranjeevi as well. If rumour in Film Nagar is to be believed, like never before Chiranjeevi has asked his fans to support the debut film of Varun Tej and make it huge successful. And why Chiru has been coming out in open to support Naga Babu’s son’s launch film? The reason doing the rounds is that Nithiin-starrer Chinnadana Neekosam has support from Pawan Kalyan and Nithiin himself playing a PK fan in the film.
More over, of late, it has become trend for Pawan’s fans to back Nithiin’s film as they’re owning him as a PK fan. Film distributors, exhibitors and trade pundits are eagerly looking out for both films as they’re curious to know whom the Mega fans have voted for? Especially in Nizam, which is crucial in deciding the overall collections of the film, there is a tug-of-war between Mukunda and Chinnadana Neekosam.
Although both the films are releasing with in a gap of a day (Mukunda releases on Dec 24 and Chinnadana slated for Dec 25 release), the competition is conspicuous and one could feel its intensity. Both the films have positive vibes around them and there is even a chance of both films faring well at the ticket windows. Let’s wait and see.
Roja’s abuses in 10 minutes shocks Jagan batch!
Yesterday after the unsavory events in AP Assembly, AP Finance Minister Yenamala Ramakrishnudu requested speaker to investigate what happened between Gorantla and Roja during and also after the assembly session was over. This was reportedly rejected by Jagan. According to reports, there is a reason behind it.
Upset over Gorantla calling her lady villain and the ruckus that followed, once the house was adjourned, Roja reportedly rushed towards Chowdhary and wanted to attack him. From TDP, Dhulipala Narendra and others tried to protect the senior MLA while Kodali Nani, Jyothula Nehru and Srikanth Reddy stopped Roja from going forward.
Roja reportedly shouted abuses that implied the meaning of pig, mad idiot and other words that cannot be written here. Shocked at her abuses, YSRCP MLA’s reportedly informed Jagan it was horrible to hear her say those words and expressed shock!
High Court warns KCR! For what?
Well, the Hyderabad High Court has fired the Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao for not taking the farmers suicides seriously and solving their problems. The High Court said that any kind of injustice to farmers will not be spared. However, the important remark was to give an immediate relief to the farmers.
The High Court told to stop extending financial support to the sports personalities and celebrities and start focusing on the farmers suicides that are growing in number. High Court made these comments dealing with a case filed by the resident of Medak who was asking the Telangana Government and Centre to give funds to the farmer families.
It seems it should be a minimum of Rs 10 lakh support. However, the High Court said to make an actual report of the situation and told that 500 farmers died and will not bear anymore deaths. So, what does High Court mean? KCR is focusing on Sania Mirza rather than Farmers suicides?
Varun clarifies on ‘Surprise’ Rumors in Mukunda!
Its time for another Mega Hero already being called Mega Prince of Tollywood to make his debut tomorrow. Varun Tej, son of Mega Brother Nagababu, is going to hit the screens with Mukunda directed by Sreekanth Addala. Responding to the rumors about the special appearance of Ram Charan or Allu Arjun, Varun Tej said “Neither Charan, nor Bunny has acted in the movie except the fact that they blessed me for my debut flick being elders.”
Also speaking about the movie’s story, he said “This is an action entertainer. I know that you people might be shocked but yes, our ‘Mukunda’ has got a lot of action elements. We don’t have unwanted action episodes in our film and they are all a part of the story.” Varun also added ” I’m confident about the film and at the same time tensed too.
Nervous because the film is ready for release and I’m thinking about how the audience will react on the film and about my performance. I gave my 100 percent effort for this film and would love to hear the feedback from the audience and critics.” So,what do you think?
YS Jagan performance improved a lot in Assmebly: Dy CM
The internal clashes between ruling Party TDP were slowly emerging out. In what we seen as expression of dissatisfaction over Chandrababu’s one-man rule Andhra Pradesh Deputy CM and senior leader KE Krishna Moorthy made some sensational comments against their leader. In a chit chat with media persons KE expressed his dissatisfaction over Naidu’s behaviour and said that Naiduy was not allowing other leaders and ministers in Assembly.
He added that only Chandrababu is speaking about all the issues. Continuing his comments KE said that YSRCP performed well in Assmebly on Monday and added that YS Jagan’s performance improved lot assembly.The comments of Dy CM turned shocker to Chandrababu who was aggressive on opposition leader.
As per reports Chandrababu earlier warned K.E. Krishna Murthy about transfer of Vizag RDO . The CM said such incidents will tarnish the government’s image. Sources said when the deputy Chief Minister was briefing him on the issue, Naidu called his principal secretary Satish Chandra and asked him about the incident in the presence of the deputy Chief Minister which didn’t goes well with minister.
Why Jagan refused Committee on Roja Episode?
Huge uproar was happened in Assembly yesterday among TDP and YSRCP members on discussion. Reportedly, YSRCP members Roja, Bhuma and Chevireddy objected the speech of Acchenaidu and rushed towards the Minister. Speaker Kodela Siva Prasad Rao adjourned the Assembly for 10 minutes to make the house in normal. MLAs were unstoppable even after postponement of the house. As per TDP members, Roja lashed out Buchhaiah Chowdary using with unparliamentarily language.
YSRCP members said that TDP insulted lady MLA as per the directions from CBN. Roja condemned that Speaker is acted as TDP worker. Speaker is angry on Raja behavior and warned to control her tongue. Kodela said that everything was recorded in CC camera what was happened after postpone the house. Speaker Kodela said that he will form ethics committee on whole episode with all three party members. It decides to know who did the mistake in the episode.
TDP and BJP have agreed for Speaker’s proposal but YSRCP was not ready to that. Jagan is denying forming the committee and asked speaker to make apologies from Buchhaiah. Why he rejected the committee on this? What is there recorded in CC camera? If Jagan is confident on his members he certainly accepted the speaker proposal.
