For one year, they are literally sitting on the story, roping in huge changes and corrections. This is what happened with director Srikanth Addala’s “Mukunda” that features debuting mega hero Varun Tej and Miss India finalist Pooja Hegde in the leads. As the revelation comes that changes are made to the initial story penned by Srikanth, let’s get deeper into this to find out who changed and why.
In the case of Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu, director Srikanth has given narration to Mahesh Babu for 20 minutes and within 2 days the actor agreed to be on board. Looking at this happening, it is surprising to see for a newcomer like Varun Tej it took almost a year to finalize Addala’s story. They say that SVSC is written by this director for years and it went through all sorts of script doctoring and cross checking. 
But Mukunda is fresh and it required that treatment just to make the output better. We have that Nagababu and Allu Arvind are the guides for these changes. While Srikanth’s story is all about a village and a youth’s desire, these two mega biggies brought the much needed commercial aspects to it. ‘Had it not been Mahesh and Venky, SVSC result would have toppled. Pre-production Kicks Off For Prabhas Film

As our hunk-hero Prabhas is flinging his sword into air at picturesque locales of Bulgaria for “Baahubali”, ground work for his next film is also going on at rapid pace back here India. Probably by the end of January, the six-foot most eligible bachelor of T-town will wrap up the shoot of Rajamouli’s magnum opus. That will mark the end of Baahubali Part-I shooting, while he has to get back to Part-II work in sometime.
In this gap, Prabas wants to finish another movie in a record time. As we said earlier, young director Sujith who has made an impressive start with Sharwanand’s “Run Raja Run” is all set to take the mantle for this project with Prabhas. Extensive pre-production is happening at the moment, jotting down every single detail, preparing the idea of shots to be taken and kind of costumes to be used. 
As Sujith and UV Productions team have finished working on story already, they will now lock other things, such that when Prabhas is available, they will finish whole shoot in just two months. That will be first film for Prabhas to be shot under 60 days. As Baahubali I is slated to hit cinemas in April, this rom-com directed by Sujith will release in June, say insiders.

In the picture is ‘Legend’ Nandamuri Balakrishna comfortably seated on a throne. The picture was taken way back in 1991 on the shooting location of Balayya’s Aditya 369 movie. The actor cum ruling party MLA is looking Super handsome in the picture Aditya 369 is one of the Epic movies ever made in Telugu. It is also first scientific fiction movie in Telugu in which Balakrishna is seen in dual role.
This movie was later dubbed in Tamil as Aboorva Sakthi 369 and was a success there too. Interestingly, the movie is adapted from a Hollywood movie, ‘Back to the future’ series.But the way of adaptation in Telugu and its execution with the limited technology available then made the movie remarkable.

What If Rajamouli Disappoints With Baahubali?

Can that happen? None of the Telugu movie lovers can even think about the probability of SS Rajamouli delivering a flop movie at the box-office. In fact, he is the only Tollywood director, who doesn’t have a flop film throughout his career. However, a new fear started among many fans. Rajamouli was one of the top directors in Telugu till ‘Magadheera’. 
He proved his distractors that he can deliver a hit film without a star hero (Maryada Ramanna) and became undisputed number one director. And with ‘Eega’, he surprised filmmakers across the nation and Rajamouli was able to earn many admirers throughout India. Lot of pressure is mounted on our ‘Jakkanna’ at the moment and nothing about the film (Baahubali) seems to be interesting so far. 
‘Baahubali’ unit released some making videos and stills, but none of them were able to match the hype so far. Telugu movie lovers and Rajamouli fans are expecting more than extra-ordinary this time and we need to wait and watch, if SS Rajamouli can reach the expectations our the audience or not.

Both Chandra Babu, Jagan Score Zero Marks

PCC leader Raghuveera Reddy has alleged that both AP CM Chandra Babu Naidu and opposition leader YS Jagan have failed miserably when it comes to handling and tackling people’s problems. Speaking on a live show, Reddy said he would give zero marks to both Babu and Jagan for their poor show. He said that the government machinery was not functioning properly and added that Babu and his team were not only cheating farmers and DWACRA groups, they were also cheating people at large. 
Reddy said that they were functioning in totally opposite manner to the pre-poll promises they made. On the other hand, the opposition failed to pull up the ruling party for its lack of commitment. Hence, both the leaders get zero marks he said. Raghuveera Reddy also said that the way Jagan behaved regarding making Vijayawada the new capital was questionable. 
The ideal way was to hold an all party meeting opined Reddy. To substantiate his stand, Raghuveera also showed a few clippings of Chandra Babu’s pre-poll promises to DWACRA women and farmers. Reddy also disclosed that his party will start its agitation from the very spot that Chandra Babu was sworn in as none of the five projects that he signed on have been implemented till now.

Telugu film Workers Call Off Strike, Shootings to Resume

As many as 14,000 workers from Andhra Pradesh Film Industry Employees Federation, who have been on strike for the last two weeks over low wages and lack of employment regulations, have finally decided to call off their stir as an amicable agreement has been reached with the producers. 
The strike had started because of the decision by the producers to hire the services of anyone to work in their films, even if they are not members of the Andhra Pradesh Film Industry Employees Federation.
“The talks with the union members ended successfully on Friday. They have agreed to work as per the conditions that producers can appoint technicians at their will and they don’t have to be necessarily members of the federation,” B. Sivaramakrishna, president, Telugu Producers Council, told IANS. 
Regular shootings resumed from Saturday. The shooting of several big budget films that were scheduled for Sankranti release next year had been affected due to the strike. With the end of the industry workers’ stir, the producers can now breathe a sigh of relief.

Jr.NTR Lost A Good Friend

Members of Nandamuri family are not able to digest the sudden demise of Janakiram. While everyone of them are in an immense pain for losing their family member, one person is saddened losing a close friend. He is none other than Harikrishna’s youngest son Jr.NTR. Not many people know that Harikrishna’s sons have accepted Tarak as their blood-brother. 
Both Janakiram and Kalyanram have started to treat Tarak as their own brother from couple of years. As soon as Jr.NTR got to know about Janakiram’s death, he rushed to Harikrishna’s house and started to console his father. He was sad, but took care of other things till the body arrived.
However, NTR was not able to control his tears after seeing the dead body of his brother. No one was able to console Tarak and he is on his way along with his Nandamuri brothers and other family members to perform the final rituals of Janakiram.

Seat Belt and Air Bags Could have Saved Janakiram?

With post-mortem reports stating that Nandamuri Janakiram died due to severe and sudden injury on his heart when his car steering has struck him so hard and his side-bones were fractured, experts predict that seat belt could have saved Janakiram’s life. Even cops and doctors too felt the same. 
But the cause of accident is because of the negligence of tractor driver who was trying to cross the road in wrong-route. The front part of Janakiram’s Tata Safari (AP29 BD 2323) had hit the back portion of tractor (tractor trolley) leading to fatal accident. 
Unfortunately, it’s a 2008 model Tata Safari which doesn’t have option of air bags. The accident site has a danger curve from where tractor was coming in wrong route and naturally, no one expects any vehicle from that side, said locales. Bad light also said to have played havoc.

Now, after so many directors waiting for the chance to direct Chiranjeevi, the Mega Star of Tollywood which is a 2nd innings type, seems to be still a doubt. It seems for a king size comeback, Director K Raghavendra rao is taking interest. As told earlier that VV Vinayak who is actually busy with the debut movie of Akkineni Akhil script, may not join in Chiru’s 150th and so Chiru is looking for another director for his prestigious comeback. 
So, keeping in mind the hits given by Raghavendra Rao to Sr.NTR during his political career, Chiru changes his choice. It seems Chiru is keen to work with Raghavendra Rao and ma very soon reveal the news. However, there is still no confirmation about the news.
