According to a highly-placed source, director Kumar Nagendra has first narrated the story of Joru to actor Vishnu Manchu but for various reasons Vishnu didn’t take up the film and it eventually went on to Sundeep Kishan. “While shooting for Gundelloo Godari, Vishnu happened to get know about young director Kumar Nagendra and got impressed with his talent. 

So when Kumar told him that he is working on a script for young hero, Vishnu reportedly envinced interest and assured to do the film if its refreshing, but when he finally listened to the completed script, ‘he felt like deja vu and declined it gently, diplomatically,” said a source in the know. 

Vishnu has reportedly declined to do the comic-centric script of “Joru” since its almost similar to his earlier hits like “Dhee” or “Dhenikaina Ready” where Brahmi takes the centre-stage and the format also all-familiar as it’s based on Sreenu Vytla style. But actor Sundeep felt it had some ‘freshness’ and took it up. Whether, Vishnu’s decision was ‘wise’ or ‘unwise’, we’ll get to know soon.

Industry is indeed a strange place. An actor can be at the top one day and he or she might end up being desperate on another day. Tamanna is going through one such phase. Actor Aari, who is just a few films old in Tamil filmdom, is extremely happy that popular southern actress Nayantara didn’t have any qualms of working with a newcomer like him in upcoming Tamil supernatural thriller “Night Show”.

“Nayantara had the opportunity to work with a leading hero, but she didn’t mind working with me as she believed in the script. I’ve just started my career and at this point, to even work with a star like her means a lot,” Aari told IANS. “I think I need to thank her for agreeing to work with me. It’s not every day you find star actors willing to work with newcomers,” he added. 

Nayantara plays a mother in the film, which is directed by debutant Ashwin Saravanan. She came on board because the producers felt someone with great screen presence could only pull off the role. Aari is currently busy shooting for another Tamil film “Maane Thene Peyae”.

Popular Tamil Producer and Director Thayagarajan had bagged the South Remake rights of the film from the original makers. He is planning to remake the film in Tamil with his son, Prashant (Jeans Hero) in his own direction. Recently Thayagarajan came down to Hyderabad and offered this film to Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja. He even arranged the special screening of the film for Ravi Teja. It is said that Ravi Teja has agreed to do this project in Telugu provided a capable Telugu director is roped in and the final script is up to his satisfaction. Meanwhile Thayagarajan will remain as only Producer for the Telugu Version.

Father and son, King Nagarjuna and Yuva Samrat Naga Chaitanya has teamed up together in their family Multistarer film, Manam. And now we hear that both of them are going to team up for a film once again and it is the Telugu remake of Tamil film, Sigaram Thodu. Nagarjuna has really liked the film and bought the remake rights of the film to make the Telugu version.

After publicizing widely that her directorial debut will have a Telugu release, Renu Desai seems to be now caught in two minds. Her directorial debut Ishq Wala Love, which received mixed reviews in Marathi, is yet to see its light in Telugu as Renu hasn’t locked the release date of the dubbed version yet. Wonder what’s the reason, it’s learnt that Renu is not well and her health issues are what holding back Renu from releasing the film.

“Everyone is asking me the release date of Ishq Wala Love in Telugu. I wanted to release it on 10th Oct itself but because of censor cert it got delayed to 17th. Then we had the cyclone problem. I’m now waiting for a good release date, hence not announced anything for the last 1 week…Also I am having health problems, for which I need to take treatment first. So unable to concentrate on film work. 

I will deff fix a release date soon & announce it,” Renu shared on her social-networking page. Renu now wants to release the Telugu version grandly only after she recuperates from ill health. In fact, she wants her ex-husband and star Pawan Kalyan to promote the film in Telugu if possible since the film marks the debut of Akira Nandan, son of Pawan and Renu. Let’s see whether Pawan comes to the rescue of Renu or not.
