Rashmika Confirms Marriage with Vijay Deverakonda?

Share

A few weeks ago, reports about Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna’s engagement took Tollywood by storm. The couple is said to have held an intimate ceremony attended only by family members and close friends. However, both have remained tight-lipped, leaving fans eagerly waiting for an official confirmation.

While Vijay has stayed silent, Rashmika recently dropped some major hints. During Jagapathi Babu’s talk show, when asked about the ring she’s been wearing, she smiled and said it was “very special.” But what truly set social media on fire was her latest statement on another talk show.

When a fan asked which actor she’d like to have a relationship with, Rashmika humorously replied, “I would love to date the animated character Naruto.” Moments later, she added with a laugh, “I will marry Vijay,” sending the audience into loud cheers.

The clip instantly went viral, fueling excitement among fans. According to reports, the much-loved couple may not delay their wedding for long, with sources hinting that their marriage could take place in February. An official announcement is reportedly on the way.

Rashmika, who made her debut with the Kannada hit Kirik Party, entered Tollywood with Chalo. Her on-screen chemistry with Vijay in Geetha Govindam became a massive hit, followed by Dear Comrade. Industry insiders believe their relationship blossomed during those films. After years of speculation, it now seems that the Geetha Govindam pair is ready to take their love story to the next chapter — marriage.

Mahesh Babu’s Nephew Jaya Krishna Set for Debut with Ajay Bhupathi Film

Superstar Krishna’s grandson and late Ramesh Babu’s son, Jaya Krishna Ghattamaneni, is all set to make his highly anticipated film debut. The young actor, who is also Mahesh Babu’s nephew, has been undergoing extensive training in acting, action, dance, and all aspects of filmmaking to prepare for his big-screen entry.

As previously announced, the film will be presented by Ashwini Dutt of Vyjayanthi Movies, marking yet another milestone in the long-standing collaboration between the Ghattamaneni family and the iconic production house. Vyjayanthi Movies earlier delivered the blockbuster Agni Parvatham with Superstar Krishna and later introduced Mahesh Babu to the silver screen with the sensational hit Raja Kumarudu. Now, they are ready to launch the third-generation star from the legendary family.

The debut film will be directed by Ajay Bhupathi, who made a striking impression with RX 100 and followed it up with the acclaimed Mangalavaram. Set against a picturesque hill backdrop, the movie is said to be an emotional and powerful love story rooted in genuine human feelings.

The official announcement poster features a beautifully illustrated caricature of the Tirumala Temple nestled amid lush hills, hinting at the film’s setting and tone. P. Kiran will produce the project under the Chandamama Kathalu banner, with regular shooting scheduled to begin soon.

Wamiqa Gabbi Finds Peace in a Quiet Finland Getaway

Share

Actress Wamiqa Gabbi, who has an exciting lineup of films ahead — including Adivi Sesh’s G2 and Lokesh Kanagaraj’s action debut DC — seems to have taken a quiet break in Finland.

Her latest pictures from the trip feel refreshingly different from the usual celebrity posts — more like stolen moments from a slow, happy day. You can almost sense the crisp air and the serene silence through her photos.

In one picture, Wamiqa is seen lying back on a fur blanket under a glass roof, sunlight spilling gently across her face — a frame that perfectly captures the feeling of switching off from the world. No filters, no poses — just a soft, genuine smile that speaks of peace.

Another shot has her leaning on a wooden bridge, bathed in golden light with autumn trees glowing behind her. It looks like a still from a quiet, contemplative film — simple yet soul-stirring.

Her look matches the mood — an oversized grey top, loose black pants, and a few chunky accessories that pull the outfit together effortlessly. Just Wamiqa being herself — calm, grounded, and radiant — and that’s what makes these moments stand out.

Sonakshi Sinha’s Telugu Debut Jatadhara Fails to Impress

Share

Once hesitant to step into South Indian cinema, many Bollywood stars are now eagerly expanding their reach beyond North India. With Tollywood’s growing recognition and shifting box office dynamics, several top Hindi actors have embraced Telugu cinema — and for many, the move has paid off.

Among them, Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha aimed to make a strong Telugu debut with the supernatural thriller Jatadhara, co-starring Sudheer Babu. In the film, she portrayed Dhanapisachini, the goddess of greed — a dark, intense, mythological character that promised to showcase a new dimension of her acting prowess.

Expectations were high after the film’s teasers and trailers hinted at a powerful performance from the Dabangg star. However, Jatadhara failed to live up to the hype, both critically and commercially. Released last Friday, the film crashed at the box office, receiving poor reviews and lackluster audience response.

Neither the script nor the performances managed to impress viewers, and Sonakshi’s role — which was expected to be a strong highlight — went largely unnoticed. What was anticipated to be a dream launch in Tollywood turned into a disappointing experience for the actress.

Sonakshi had hoped Jatadhara would open doors for more Telugu film offers, but the film’s dismal performance has unfortunately dimmed those chances — at least for now.

Ram Charan’s upcoming film Peddi, directed by Buchi Babu Sana and co-starring Janhvi Kapoor, is fast becoming one of the most awaited Telugu films in recent times. With the legendary A.R. Rahman composing the music, expectations are soaring sky-high.

On Saturday, Rahman performed live in Hyderabad, and in a delightful surprise, Ram Charan, Janhvi Kapoor, and Buchi Babu Sana joined him on stage. Their unexpected entry sent fans into a frenzy, turning the concert into a memorable celebration.

The film’s first single, Chikiri Chikiri, released on November 7, has already set new records. Within just 24 hours, the song garnered an astounding 46 million views across all versions on YouTube — an all-time record for an Indian track. The Telugu version alone clocked 32 million views, while the Hindi version crossed 10 million, making it the most-viewed Hindi-dubbed Telugu song in a single day. Sung by Mohit Chauhan, the song’s catchy tune and viral hook step have taken social media by storm.

Speaking at the event, Ram Charan expressed his excitement about collaborating with A.R. Rahman.

“It was my childhood dream to work with Rahman sir, and it’s finally coming true with Peddi. This project is very close to my heart,” he said.

Peddi is said to be a semi-period sports drama set in the Uttarandhra region, blending raw emotion with grand cinematic appeal. The story follows the journey of its titular character, Peddi, promising an intense and inspiring narrative.

The film features Ram Charan, Janhvi Kapoor, Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, and Divyendu Sharma in key roles. Produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under Vriddhi Cinemas, in association with Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings, Peddi is written and directed by Buchi Babu Sana, with music by A.R. Rahman.

Anupama Parameswaran Files Cyber Complaint Over Fake Posts

Share

‘Karthikeya 2’ actress Anupama Parameswaran recently took to social media to address the circulation of inappropriate and false content about her and her family. The actress revealed that certain online posts contained morphed photos and baseless allegations, which caused her immense distress.

Sharing a note on her official Instagram handle, Anupama wrote,

“A few days ago, I came across an Instagram profile circulating extremely inappropriate and false content about me, my family, and even tagging my friends and co-actors. The posts included morphed pictures and baseless allegations — it was deeply distressing to witness such targeted harassment online.”

Following an internal inquiry, it was discovered that the same individual had created multiple fake profiles with the intent to spread hate against the 18 Pages actress. Anupama immediately filed a complaint with the Kerala Cyber Crime Police, who successfully identified the culprit.

“To my surprise, it turned out to be a 20-year-old girl from Tamil Nadu. Considering her young age, I have decided not to reveal her identity, as I don’t wish to affect her future or peace of mind,” she shared.

However, Anupama issued a strong warning to those misusing social media to defame or harass others.

“Owning a smartphone or having access to social media doesn’t give anyone the right to spread hate or defame others. Every action online leaves a trace, and accountability will follow. Being a public figure doesn’t take away basic rights — cyberbullying is a punishable offence,” she concluded.

Bhaskar Reddy Arrested After Father’s Funeral, Political Lesson for Youth

Share

Bhaskar Reddy, a social media activist aligned with the YCP, was arrested upon his return to India to attend his father’s final rites. The Andhra Pradesh police received prior information, and immediately after the funeral, he was taken into custody.

Bhaskar Reddy alleged that the police physically assaulted him, leaving him bruised and unable to walk. Meanwhile, some TDP-supporting youth reportedly celebrated the incident, recording videos with abusive language directed at him and the YCP leadership.

This situation, however, serves as a cautionary tale for young political enthusiasts. When power changes hands, harassment and arrests can become inevitable. Some youngsters, while abroad, may feel untouchable as they make provocative videos, forgetting that personal circumstances may eventually bring them back to India, where opponents may act.

The incident highlights the futility of aggressive or abusive behavior toward political parties. Such actions yield no real benefit. Youngsters should focus on constructive participation — voting for their preferred party and influencing others democratically — rather than resorting to abusive attacks or targeting the families of political opponents.

Naga Chaitanya Praises Sobhita Dhulipala’s Telugu Ahead of Anniversary

Share

As Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala near their first wedding anniversary on December 4, 2025, fans are captivated by the couple’s undeniable charm and mutual admiration.

In an intimate conversation with Vogue India, the Premam star opened up about what fascinates him most about his wife — her impeccable command of Telugu.
“Her Telugu just amazes me,” Chaitanya said with a smile, adding that he often jokes about her teaching him and “sharing all her intelligence.”

He also praised Sobhita for striking a perfect balance between modernity and tradition.
“In Mumbai, she’s the ultimate city girl — confident, stylish, and progressive. But back in Vizag, she stays deeply rooted in her culture,” he remarked.

Sobhita, in turn, shared how speaking Telugu with her husband gives her a profound sense of comfort and connection.
“After living in Mumbai for years, I’d almost forgotten what it felt like to converse in Telugu beyond my parents. Talking to Chay in Telugu feels like home — it takes me back to my happiest and most emotional moments,” she said.

She added that Telugu is her natural emotional language: “Whenever I feel really happy, nostalgic, or upset, my thoughts just flow in Telugu.”

On the professional front, Naga Chaitanya was last seen in Thandel, directed by Chandoo Mondeti and co-starring Sai Pallavi.

Trivikram to Work with Venkatesh and Junior NTR on Upcoming Films

Share

Trivikram Srinivas, one of the most influential and commercially successful filmmakers in Telugu cinema, has built a legacy that is truly remarkable. He is currently collaborating with senior actor Venkatesh for an upcoming project, which is now in production. Amidst this, discussions about Trivikram’s availability for future projects have started generating buzz.

In addition to the Venkatesh film, it has been confirmed that Trivikram is also set to work with Junior NTR on one of his upcoming ventures. This dual collaboration presents an exciting prospect for the filmmaker—balancing a project with a senior star like Venkatesh while simultaneously preparing a pan-India project with NTR.

Notably, the upcoming NTR film marks Trivikram’s first attempt at a pan-India subject. Reports suggest that the story will be based on Lord Murugan, making it a significant collaboration for both the director and the actor. If Trivikram can wrap up the Venkatesh project efficiently and kickstart production on the NTR film, it could be a game-changer in his career.

However, Trivikram has historically been known for taking time to materialize his films, and fans and trade circles alike are curious to see if this trend will continue with these two high-profile projects.

The Raja Saab Promotions Delayed, Fans Eager for First Single

Share

The Raja Saab, starring pan-India superstar Prabhas, is shaping up to be the biggest Sankranti release in Tollywood this year. The makers surprised trade circles and fans by unveiling the theatrical trailer well in advance, creating massive anticipation and boosting the pre-release market. However, since then, the team has gone silent, even as the release date rapidly approaches.

The first single from this Maruthi-directed film was expected by now, but its release has been delayed for unknown reasons. While the team has dismissed postponement rumors and reaffirmed that the film is on track for its January 9th release, the delay in launching the promotional campaign has left fans frustrated.

Other Sankranti releases, such as Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Mana Shankar Vara Prasad Garu and Thalapathy Vijay’s Jana Nayagan, have already started promotions with their first singles. Even Ram Charan’s Peddi, slated for a March release, recently unveiled its first song. These tracks are dominating music charts and generating strong buzz for their respective films. In contrast, The Raja Saab promotions have yet to begin.

The delay is particularly concerning given the film’s scale: a wide multi-language release with a budget exceeding ₹400 crores, and the need to capitalize on Prabhas’ pan-India stardom. With just two months to go for the worldwide release, it is crucial that the first single drops immediately to generate momentum, especially in Hindi and other languages.

Fans are eagerly awaiting music composer SS Thaman to deliver an album and background score that match the high expectations. Apart from Prabhas, the film stars Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal, and Riddhi Kumar, with Bollywood veteran Sanjay Dutt playing a pivotal role. The clock is ticking, and the film’s promotional campaign cannot afford any further delay.
