Trivikram takes responsibility of Akira Nandan’s debut
For a long time now, there are speculations that Power star Pawan Kalyan’s son Akira Nandan is prepping for his acting debut. However, it is not clear which director will launch the Konidela scion into the films.
Now, the latest update we hear is that there are no immediate plans to launch Akira Nandan into films. His father Pawan Kalyan feels that the youngster needs to learn several things before stepping into action. It is worth mentioning that Pawan Kalyan also did the same before his debut.
Interestingly, the Gabbar Singh actor has kept the responsibility of launching Akira Nandan on the shoulders of ace Tollywood director Trivikram Srinivas as per a close source.

US COVID surge: Barack Obama curtails 60th birthday bash after delta variant concerns
WASHINGTON: The party for the nation’s 44th president will go on, but only for family and close friends.
Former President Barack Obama has scaled back his 60th birthday bash set for this weekend at his Martha’s Vineyard home off the Massachusetts coast due to the surge of infections blamed on the delta variant of the coronavirus, his office said Wednesday.
Attendance is now limited to family and close friends.
Published reports had said hundreds of celebrities, politicos and others were expected at Obama’s sprawling house.
“This outdoor event was planned months ago in accordance with all public health guidelines and with ‘COVID safeguards in place,” Obama spokesperson Hannah Hankins said in a statement.

“Due to the new spread of the delta variant over the past week, the President and Mrs Obama have decided to significantly scale back the event to include only family and close friends.”
“President Obama is appreciative of others sending their birthday wishes from afar and looks forward to seeing people soon,” Hankins added.
The two-term president turned 60 on Wednesday.
Some conservatives criticised the plans for a milestone birthday celebration after details about the event were published this week.
“If the CDC doesn’t recommend Obama cancel his birthday party, don’t listen when they recommend you shut down your business,” conservative activist Charlie Kirk tweeted on Monday.
Last week, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommended that people, including those fully vaccinated against COVID-19, resume wearing face coverings in public indoor spaces in areas of “substantial or high transmission” to protect against the delta variant.
Some states and cities also have reinstated mask requirements as infections surge around the country.
The CDC website on Wednesday listed the rate of transmission in Dukes County, Massachusetts, which includes the island of Martha’s Vineyard, as “substantial”.

Massachusetts has not reinstituted mask requirements, leaving those decisions to individual communities.
So far, the towns on Martha’s Vineyard have issued mask advisories, but no mandates.
The Biden administration has blamed the latest surge on the approximately 90 million people who remain unvaccinated.
Obama’s defenders stressed that the birthday party is being held outdoors, guests were asked to provide a negative COVID-19 test result and that a coordinator had been enlisted to ensure the event followed all public health guidelines.
Both Obama and former first lady Michelle Obama have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and have urged Americans to also get their shots and follow public health protocols.
“COVID-19 has gotten more contagious, so it’s more important than ever to get vaccinated,” the former president said last week in a tweet that included a link for people to find vaccines.
“Vaccines are safe, and the best way to protect yourself and your loved ones.”
President Joe Biden, Obama’s vice president, did not plan to attend the party.
Pakistan criticises India for refusing permission to five foreign journalists to visit PoK
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan on Wednesday criticised India for refusing permission to five India-based foreign journalists to visit Pakistan-occupied Kashmir to attend a session of its legislative assembly.
Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry and National Security Adviser Moeed Yusuf in separate tweets alleged that free speech and independent journalism was shrinking in India.
Indian authorities declined Pakistan’s request to allow the five journalists to travel to Islamabad through Wagah as the border crossing is virtually closed due to the coronavirus pandemic, according to people familiar with the development.
The Wagah border crossing point was initially closed for few weeks in March last year and subsequently, the restriction was extended.
It is now closed for all other categories of travellers except diplomats and some others.
Qureshi said the denial of permission by India to five international journalists to travel to Pakistan is “another damning indication of shrinking space for free speech and independent journalism under a dictatorial regime.”
Information Minister Chaudhry in his tweet said that the journalists were to attend a session of PoK assembly on August 5.
“These are actions of an insecure government that has much to hide and doesn’t want the world to see the reality” of Kashmir, Yusuf said.
Protests have been planned in Kashmir and Pakistan on the second anniversary of August 5 when India revoked the special status of its Kashmir in 2019.
India has maintained that the issue related to Article 370 of the Indian Constitution was entirely an internal matter of the country.
The newly elected Legislative Assembly has also planned a session on the occasion and the journalists were to witness the proceedings.
YSRCP’s future becoming a question mark
The YSRCP, headed by YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, won by a vast majority in rhe 2019 general elections, having defeated the Telugu Desam Party. Ever since the YSRCP government was formed things have been here and there, to say the least. In the two and a half years since coming to power, the YSRCP has earned itself a very infamous name, due to its various schemes and decisions.
When a survey was conducted in May this year, it was said that the YSRCP continues to be a favourite among the people of the state. However, just two months later, from a survey conducted by the same company that conducted the previous survey, it was concluded that the YSRCP’s popularity is dipping, and that anti-government feelings were developing in the public. According to the latest survey, nearly 60 MLAs would be defeated if the party went for a by-election right now, and 9 out of 25 ministers would be defeated, while 6 would have to go through a tough fight. It is being said that the CM is now planning to replace all these ministers, in order to gain the confidence of the people.
On the other hand, the YSRCP government is said to have been advised not to be confident that they will win because they are the ruling party currently, as the TDP faced very similar situations in the past. TDP is said to be gaining support in North Andhra and Godavari districts once again, and even in Nellore, where it doesn’t have a single seat, while the YSRCP’s situation is said to be worsening in Guntur and Krishna districts. In Rayalaseema, TDP is said to be strengthening in Anantapur, while Kadapa and Chittoor are expected to lean towards the YSRCP. With so much at stake, YSRCP’s future seems to be a question mark.
Yashika Aannand clears air on her health condition, issues an update
Kollywood actress, Bigg Boss fame Yashika Aannand met with an accident in July on her way to Chennai and sustained severe injuries. She was shifted to hospital and has been undergoing treatment ever since.
Clearing all the airs on her health condition, NOTA actress Yashika Aannand, on her Instagram handle issued an update on her health condition. She said she sustained multiple fractures and said for the next five months she can’t either walk or stand.
“Health update;
Multiple fractures in pelvic bone and right leg fractured. I’m resting post my surgeries. I won’t be able to walk or stand for the next 5 months. I have been bed ridden all day and I have to pass motions on the same bed. I can’t turn right or left also. I’ve been stiff for these many days. My back is fully injured. Luckily nothing happened to my face but this is definitely a rebirth for me. Which I didn’t ask for,” she said in the Instagram post.
Recently, she expressed her guilt of losing her friend in the accident and wishes that her friend’s family will forgive her. Yashika Aannand said she misses her friend and will cherish the moments she spent with her.
Yashika who is feeling the guilt of losing her friend and putting her family in the situation of going through a tough phase had decided to stay away from the birthday celebrations.
KCR to release Rs. 10 Lakhs into Vasala Marri Dalit accounts
A few days ago, it was announced that Telangana Chief Minister KCR was planning on introducing the Dalit Bandhu scheme in the Huzurabad constituency, ahead of the by-polls there. However, the CM has now announced that the scheme would be launched in the village that he adopted, Vasala Marri. This announcement was made today, where the CM said that Rs. 10 Lakhs would be credited into the accounts of all the eligible Dalit families in the village.
This announcement has taken everyone by major surprise, given that there are as many as 76 eligible Dalit families in the area. It has also been announced that Rs. 7 Crores, 60 Lakhs have been allotted for the purpose. CM KCR also said that Rs. 10 Lakhs would be deposited into the accounts by tomorrow, with the exception of Rs. 10,000 from each account, which would be used for the purpose of the protection of the Dalits in the area.
KCR has also said that this money is to be used for the development of the area, and for the development of the families, and not for any other thing. Furthermore, while it is not clear when the Dalit Bandhu scheme would be implemented in the Huzurabad constituency, and in the other constituencies of the state, for now, the Dalits of the Vasala Marri village have benefited from the scheme.

After a lengthy delay, Prabhas – Nag Ashwin project was finally launched a few days ago. Amitabha Bachchan, who plays a lead role in the film even shot a minor talkie portion at a specially assembled set in Hyderabad.

In all probability, Prabhas will be commencing shoot for Project K only from January next year. Once he joins the shoot, he will be solely focusing on the project and he will be allotting bulk dates for the same. The film also features Amitabh and Deepika Padukone.

As per the education policy, schools in AP to be classified into six categories!
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy chaired a key meeting at his camp office in Tadepalli to review the new education policy with the key officials on Wednesday. During the meeting, he issued key directives to the concerned officials.
CM Jagan said that the state-run schools will be classified into six types and based on this the teachers should be appointed. The appointments should be made on the grounds of the students’ ratio, the Chief Minister said.
“The Jagananna Vidya Kanuka scheme will be launched on the 16th of this month from the West Godavari district. The teachers should be appointed concerning the students’ strength in the respective schools. The experience and skills of the teachers should be used,†CM Jagan said.
According to the new education policy of Andhra Pradesh, the schools will be classified into six cataegories_ Satellite schools( PP-1, PP2), Foundation Schools( PP-1, PP-2. 1, 2), Foundation Plus Schools( PP1 to up to the fifth standard), Pre High Schools( 3rd standard to 7th or 8th standard). High Schools( 3rd to 10th standard). High School Plus( 3rd standard to 12th standard).
Having said that, the Chief Minister directed that skilled teachers should be appointed for the students from 3rd standard. The medium of instruction will be in English, while Telugu will be made a compulsory subject, he added.
