Telugu Desam Party Hindupuram MLA Balakrishna started the municipal election campaign in Hindupur. On Thursday, he conducted pujas at the Suguru Anjaneyaswamy Temple in the Hindupuram constituency and started the municipal election campaign.
He spoke to the media on the occasion. He alleged that currently, the sand and liquor mafia is ruling AP. He urged that the YCP is not being accountable to the people who cast their votes. The prices of commodities have risen and are not affordable to the common man.
Balakrishna criticized YCP for insulting Chandrababu and the others. He criticized the YCP for resorting to a consensus with threats.
Along with Chandrababu and Lokesh, top party leaders in the respective districts are participating in the municipal election campaign. It is in this context that Balakrishna is participating in the municipal election campaign in Hindupur.

Popular singer Shreya Ghoshal and her husband Shiladitya Mukhopadhyaya are expecting their first child together. The Melodious singer announced her first pregnancy in a social media post on Thursday.
The singer shared a picture of herself cradling her baby bump, and she looks stunning in a blue outfit. “Baby #Shreyaditya is on its way! Shreya Ghoshal married Shiladitya Mukhopadhyaya, her childhood sweetheart, on February 5 in 2015. The duo dated for several years before getting married.

Apologise for not bringing ITIR to TS: KTR to BJP
HYDERABAD: IT and Industries Minister KT Rama Rao on Wednesday demanded that the BJP leaders in Telangana tender an apology to the people for not bringing the Information Technology and Investment Region (ITIR) project to the State. Rama Rao’s comments come a day after BJP State president Bandi Sanjay Kumar wrote a letter to him regarding the issue, which the IT Minister termed as a bundle of lies.
Rama Rao recalled that ITIR projects in several other States too have been shelved by the BJP government. In fact, Union IT Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad had made it clear that the projects were shelved, yet the BJP leaders have been blaming the State government, he said.
In a statement, Rama Rao recalled that there was no much progress on the ITIR project sanctioned for Bengaluru either, even though the BJP is in power there as well as at the Centre. “Is the TRS government responsible for the non-starter of ITIRs in AP, Odisha and Karnataka too,” he wondered.
Saying he will give the detailed project report (DPR) and other reports of the Hyderabad ITIR to Sanjay Kumar, Rama Rao challenged him to bring the project to Telangana. If the BJP leaders have any sincerity towards the State, they should pressure the Centre to sanction the ITIR or any other important IT project for Telangana.
Meanwhile, during a press meet at Telangana Bhavan, TRS MP G Ranjith Reddy, and MLAs KP Vivekanand and A Jeevan Reddy recalled that Rama Rao wrote 14 letters to the Centre asking it to sanction the ITIR. But there was no response, they said. Ranjith Reddy wondered why the BJP MPs from the State were not speaking up on the ITIR project in Lok Sabha.
Bombay HC directs Amazon Prime to take down Nani’s ‘V’ film
The Bombay High Court Tuesday directed Amazon Prime India to take down Nani and Sudheer Babu starrer ‘V’ until its makers remove a scene in which actress Sakshi Malik photo was allegedly used without her permission.
It is known that “V” was released on September 5, 2020, on the OTT platform and got a mixed talk. Actress and model Sakshi Malik have filed a petition in the high court alleging that her photo was used in the film without permission. She claimed to have taken a photo of herself from Instagram and repeatedly shown her photo in the film, claiming to be a commercial sex worker’.
A single-judge bench of Justice Gautam S Patel on March 2 heard a defamation suit by Malik against Venkateswara Creations Pvt Ltd for the same reason.
The Court directed Amazon Prime to take down the film within 24 hours in all versions, irrespective of language until producers delete all images of Malik from their work. The HC also asked the makers to show the altered portion to the actress before it allows Amazon Prime to re-release the film.

చిన్నమ్మ శశికళ కూడా అంతే. ‘గతంలోనూ నేను రాజకీయాలు చేయలేదు, ఇకపైనా రాజకీయాలు చేయదలచుకోలేదు..’ అంటూ చిత్ర విచిత్రమైన ప్రకటన చేశారు శశికళ. ఈ మాత్రందానికి పెద్ద పెద్ద రోడ్ షోలు ఎందుకు చేసినట్లు.? అన్నాడీఎంకే నేతల్లో కొందరిని కొనుగోలు చేయడమెందుకు.? అన్నట్టు కమల్ హాసన్, శరత్ కుమార్ తదితరులు మాత్రం ప్రస్తుతానికి తమ తమ రాజకీయ పార్టీలతో కాస్త గట్టిగానే నిలబడుతున్నారు. అయితే, వీళ్ళకి తమిళనాడులో రాజకీయంగా వున్న పాపులారిటీ అంతంతమాత్రమే. ఏమాత్రం పాపులారిటీ వున్నా, బీజేపీ.. వీళ్ళని కూడా వదిలే సమస్యే లేదు. బీజేపీ రాజకీయమే అంత.

Will Etela Rajender Revolt Against KCR?
Will Etela Rajender rebel against the TRS leadership? At least this is what the BC organisations across Telangana want him to do. The BC organisations are said to be egging Etela Rajender to raise a banner of revolt against the TRS leadership. They feel that numerically powerful and politically influential BCs are being given a short-shrift by the TRS leadership.
In fact, Etela has been sulking of late He has been divested off the influential post of finance minister and has been given the health ministry. But, even in the health ministry, he writ does not run. A couple of officials on deputation are calling the shots. He is not getting any funding even for the health schemes that are very important due to Covid 19 situation. Sources said that Etela was one of the strongest opponents of KTR being made the CM. It is being said that it is due to his open opposition that KCR had a change of heart and announced that he will remain the CM for ten more years.
Sources say that the Mudirajs, the community that Etela belongs is deeply unhappy at these developments. They are a powerful block in Medak, Mahabubnagar and parts of Karimnagar. Even other BC communities like the Munnuru Kapus and the Yadavs are unhappy at the way their leaders are being treated in Telangana. They are all now trying to impress upon Etela to revolt. But, will Etela revolt? Let’s wait and see.
Sarkaru Vaari Paata receiving impressive offers, but with a condition
Needless to say, Tollywood superstar Mahesh Babu is one of the most bankable South Indian actors when it comes to the overseas market. Almost all of his films collect over a million dollars in the USA regardless of the reviews and word of mouth.
So, it is only common for overseas distributors to show great interest in Mahesh’s upcoming projects.
The latest we hear is that the producers of Sarkaru Vaari Paata are already receiving alluring offers from overseas distribution houses for the distribution rights of the film.
However, the distributors are coming up with a condition. They will be paying a hefty amount and token advance only if the overseas market which has taken a beating due to Covid-19 pandemic recovers by the time Sarkaru Vaari Paata hits the silver screens. Or else, the value of the deal will be decreased to a certain extent.
It is said that Sarkaru Vaari Paata’s overseas theatrical business will be the second-highest in Mahesh’s career with the first being Bharath Ane Nenu. The Koratala Siva directorial was sold for approximately Rs 18 crores and it went on to collect Rs 23 crores. Sarkaru Vaari Paata’s overseas theatrical rights have valued a tad under those of Bharath Ane Nenu’s. More details will be out once a deal is stuck.
Sarkaru Vaari Paata will be hitting the silver screens next Sankranthi. Parasuram is directing the film and Mahesh plays a moneylender in it. Keerthy Suresh is playing the female lead. Mythri Movie Makers and 14 Reels Plus Entertainments are jointly bankrolling the project.

Chinnamma Takes Rajinikanth’s Route Quits From Politics
Close aide of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa, VK Sasikala, who announced that she will venture into Tamil Nadu politics, left everyone in a state of shock with her decision.
Ahead of the Assembly Polls, Sasikala, popularly known as Chinnamma announced that she is quitting politics and she doesn’t want to venture into politics. She urged the cadre of AIADMK to stay united.
The sudden development came as a big shock to people who are aware of Tamil Nadu politics. Chinnamma who was very close with Jayalalithaa was thrown out of AIADMK in 2017 along with her family members.
The political analysts are citing two reasons for her unprecedented move. One is she wants to stay out of the 2021 polls as the opinion polls predicted that voters are not in favor of AIADMK and BJP appliance. She is waiting for the polls to commence and then take control of the party after the party gets weaker.
The other reason is politics is a money game. One has to be ready to spend on politics for various reasons. Sasikala is currently financially weak with all her assets been seized by the court. So she cannot spend money in the polls which might have forced her to take a back seat.
The saffron party BJP used all the options to bring Chinnamma into AIADMK to make the alliance stronger. But the efforts of the BJP went in vain with the AIADMK leaders strongly opposing the move.
On Wednesday, Sasikala issued a statement stating that she is quitting politics. In the statement, Sasikala said she never went after power or post. I am thankful for the people of Tamil Nadu, Sasikala said.
‘I never wanted a post or power. I am always thankful for the people of Tamil Nadu. I am staying away from politics and I pray to my sister (late CM Jayalalithaa) and god for establishing a good governance,’ Sasikala said in the statement.
BJP wanted to bank on the power of Sasikala in the forthcoming polls as she hails from a politically strong community. But the AIADMK stood strong on its stand to oppose Sasikala. This indirectly helped Stalin’s Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam(DMK) by increasing its winning chances.
It has to be noted that Sasikala took oath at Jayalalithaa’s memorial ghat en route to Bengaluru prison to serve the jail term. Even after returning from the prions, she said she would enter politics.
