Left parties to boycott Pawan’s long march!
Till recently, the Communist Party of India and Communist Party of India (CPI-M) had been associated with the Jana Sena Party headed by power star Pawan Kalyan.
In fact, CPI and CPI-M had an alliance with Jana Sena in the recent Lok Sabha and state assembly elections in Andhra Pradesh and they all doomed together.
After the elections, there are no instances of the Left parties even approaching Jana Sena for any common programme of action on any issue. Apparently, they dumped Pawan.
Now, the Jana Sena chief is desperately trying to get back into political activity to sustain his party.
He has announced conduct of a long march in the name of “Sand Satyagraha” at Visakhapatnam on Sunday to question the YSR Congress party government’s failure in resolving the sand crisis in the state.
He wrote letters to all political parties, including the Communists, Telugu Desam Party and the Bharatiya Janata Party and sought their support for his agitation.
TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu and BJP state president Kanna Lakshminarayana extended their support.
However, the Left parties gave a shock to Pawan stating that they would not be able to join him in the agitation on sand crisis.
In a common letter to Jana Sena chief, CPI secretary K Ramakrishna and CPI-M former MP P Madhu said they were extending their solidarity to Pawan on the issue, but would not be able to participate in the rally.
Reason: Pawan has also invited the BJP leaders who would be attending the rally. Since the BJP leaders are coming, the Communists do not want to share the dais with them and hence, decided to abstain.
Did Jagan Pull Up Murthy-Amar Duo?
The way two veteran journalists – K Ramachandramurthy and Devulapalli Amar, who are presently holding the posts of advisors to Andhra Pradesh government held press conferences almost at the same time on the controversial GO on filing defamation cases against the media raised many eyebrows in the media circles.
While Amar, national media advisor, held a press conference hurriedly at a very short notice at Hyderabad on Friday evening, Murthy, advisor to Andhra government on public policy, held the press conference in Velagapudi secretariat in Amaravati almost the same time.
Both of them strongly defended the GO stating that it was aimed at reining in only those media houses which have been deliberately targeting the YSRC government by publishing scurrilous reports.
Both of them said it was not meant for curtailing the freedom of press, but was only to ensure that the media does not cross the Lakshmana Rekha.
Enquiries revealed that YSR Congress party president and chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy reportedly called Amar and Murthy and pulled them up for not defending the government, when the media persons were raising a hue and cry and journalist unions were taking to streets.
Jagan was wondering why Amar and Murthy had remained silent as if it was not their job to defend the government on the GO and the ministers were anyway responding to the criticism.
“But the decision would get more credibility if senior journalists like Amar and Murthy come to the defence of the decision,” the chief minister felt.
After receiving the dressing down from Jagan, the Amar-Murthy duo responded hurriedly. But the damage has already been done to the government!
Trade Talk: Brand Deverakonda Didn’t Work!
Vijay Deverakonda’s maiden production Meeku Mathrame Cheptha has been promoted aggressively by the team.
Despite Vijay’s branding and aggressive promotions, this low budget comedy failed to register decent opening on its first day at the box office.
Not having known faces in the lead roles and below average to average reviews have restricted MMC to poor openings all over.
Ravi Babu’s Aaviri turned out to be yet another disappointing fare from the talented filmmaker.
Last week’s releases fared well at the Telugu box office. Khaidi has reached safe zone in Telugu States and Whistle turned out to be the highest earning movie for Vijay in Telugu markets.
A lot of small films are lined up for release in November as it is believed to be a bad period for big releases.
We know exactly who he is, Trump tweets

After two days of Baghdadi attack by the US-led commando raid, the ISIS group released an audio recording that they have come up with a new leader, Abu Ibrahim al-Hashimi al-Quraishi. The group also confirmed the death of their former leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi and warned the US to not be happy over the attack.
But, people have contemplated that the new leader is not a known face and his identity has not been disclosed. However, President Donald Trump said that the United States knows who the Islamic State group’s new leader is. “ISIS has a new leader. We know exactly who he is!” Trump said in a surprise tweet.
After Baghdadi’s death, who led ISIS since 2014, the group agreed on a replacement. Baghdadi was the world’s most wanted man and he died in a US special forces raid in Syria’s northwestern province of Idlib on Sunday. The US also stated that Baghdadi’s death is a great victory and not a threat. But one should not forget that the fight with ISIS is not over.
Talk Of Town: Mahesh And Rashmika’s Lip Kiss

In some of his films, Mahesh Babu has indulged in kissing his heroines. Although there is no serious lip kissing, he just keeps a peck on the lips. From Ameesha Patel to Kajal Agarwal, Samantha to Kriti Sanon, he did that peck on the lips with many heroines. So how is it going to be in Sarileru Neekevvaru now?
Featuring Rashmika Mandanna in the lead, which also happens to be the young heroine’s first-ever major movie with a superstar, fans are wondering if Mahesh will repeat the similar lip kissing feat with her. As Rashmika happens to be that young and sensational starlet who has films lined up with big heroes, surely a lip kiss of her with Mahesh will be sensational.
Also, Rashmika too emerged as the queen of kissing as she has done that act back to back with Vijay Devarakonda in films like Geetha Govindam and Dear Comrade. Now that the queen meets the king, there is a buzz coming out that a lip kiss scene is being shot in the latest Pollachi schedule of the movie.
We have to see how far this rumour gets true and Mahesh continues his kissing streak along with Rashmika. Sarileru Neekevvaru is set for January 12th, 2020 release.
Buzz: Inter-Caste ‘Love Story’ Of Naga Chaitanya

Though action films and mass movies never gave the required blockbuster for Naga Chaitanya, love stories never cheated him. From Ye Maya Chesave to Majlii, most love stories worked at the box office in his favour.
In his upcoming film being directed by Sekhar Kammula, we hear that Chay is tackling another love story. And the news is coming out that this film is titled ‘Love Story’ only. Talented actress Sai Pallavi is playing lead in this movie, and her character will revolve around danced based subject, they say.
Another interesting talk is that the conflict in the story comes through the inter-caste issue that Sekhar Kammula is handling quite well. With hero and heroine belonging to two different communities, how the societal equations with respects to community egos are going to alter the course of this love story is said to be the main story of the film.
For the now, Sekhar Kammula is filing this ‘Love Story’ in various parts of Telangana and they are hoping for a February 14th release, say reports.
Nannu Involve Cheyyakandi Raju garu, says Rajamouli

Twitter is the place where director Ram Gopal Varma will spend most of his time and entertains netizens with his sarcastic and intelligent tweets. And sometimes he targets the biggest of big celebs with his words, though many ignore to respond on them. Today, he has invoked the name of Rajamouli, regarding which the Baahubali maker responded though.
Releasing a song from ‘Kamma Rajyamlo Kadapa Reddlu’, which revolves around evangelist and political aspirant KA Paul, RGV tweeted this way: “If JOKER is such a big hit in India a biopic on K A PAUL will be bigger than BAHUBALI 3 ..I heard Rajamouli is already in talks with K A PAUL in Washington D C..This K A PAUL only phoned me and told me”.
Of course, everyone knows the wit and pun in this one, but then, Rajamouli’s response over this is epic. “Nannu involve cheyyakandi “RAJU” garu” is what Rajamouli replied to this.
Why would RGV anyway stay silent on Rajamouli’s reply? “Sir Sir Sir I am not doing ..K A Paul told me that u had lunch with him at TRUMP TOWER and u signed him for BAHUBALI 3 ..I swear this on K A PAUL” he tweeted back.
We have to see how KA Paul will respond on this anyway!!
No permission for Jana Sena’s ‘Long March’

The sand crisis agitations is growing bigger and bigger in Andhra Pradesh. The main opposition TDP and Left parties are already agitating against this and joining the chorus is Jana Sena party.
Chief Pawan Kalyan has called for ‘Chalo Visakhapatnam’ on Sunday and a ‘Long March’ is also planned as part of protest. Jana Sena leaders have knocked the Vizag city police for permission to ‘Long March’ and they faced a disappointment. The cops have denied permission citing security reasons.
The police also obstructed the arrangements being made at Vizag central park and beefed up the security at the venue. The ‘Long March’ is planned from Telugu Thalli statue at Maddelapalem to Gandhi statue near GVMC office which streches about 2.5 kilometres.
Jana Sena has called construction workers from Godavari districts and surrounding regions to take part in this ‘Long March.’ Also they sought Left parties support in it. Jana Sena leaders Nadella Manohar, Naga Babu and others are said to be working on this protest to make it a success.
