Veera Bhoga Vasantha Rayalu is a noticeable release this week in cinemas. It brings together the likes of Nara Rohit, Sudheer Babu, Sri Vishnu and Shriya together. Unfortunately, the release strategy adopted by the makers has killed any box office prospects of the movie.

The movie can be classified as a different attempt without any doubt. With that in mind, the makers thought it would be appropriate to release it in the US days ahead of Telugu states. It was to cash in on the Tuesday premiere and with the hope of a positive word of mouth helping the Telugu states release buzz.

But, the talk coming out is anything but positive. In the past, few films have released this way with the most notable one being Happy Days releasing one week in advance. The great word of mouth assured an increase of hype locally. Here, it is exactly the opposite.

There are various rumors floating around regarding the upcoming film of Ram Charan with Boyapati Srinu. The most problematic seems to be the slow progress of shooting not keeping up the schedules. Basically, the buzz is that there is a delay and RC12 might not make it to Sankranthi in time without being rushed. What adds weight is the image of Ram Charan with ‘swami’ mala.

Many are assuming that he is not participating in the shoot. Well, the truth is that the shooting is happening smoothly and the movie will arrive on time. At least that’s what the sources in the unit confidently say. The lack of clarity from the makers is the reason for all the false rumors to come out.

It could be easily avoided, but right now it doesn’t seem to be on the production house’s radar. We hope they get things clear sooner rather than later as that delay would only increase frustration if the fans.

NTR biopic is a prestigious project for Nandamuri Balakrishna as an actor and as a producer. He is pooling money bags for this much awaited film which is made as a two part franchise by director Krish. The film has been creating ripples in trade circles ever since it started rolling.

Balakrishna and Krish initially wanted to make it as a single part. As there are heavy expectations among audience, they have now announced it as a two part film. This strategy is turning out to be a cash cow for its producers as they are going to recoup their investment just with the theatricals of first part and will bag solid profits with the second part rights and other avenues like digital and satellite rights.

Sources close to the production house revealed that Balakrishna and other producers will have close to 60 Crores profits after selling all rights of two parts of this biopic. There won’t be much increase in the production cost though it is made as two parts. So, the investment will be same but the business prospects have doubled for its producers which will ensure them heavy profits even before the release of first part. It seems like NTR biopic is going to be a money spinner for Balakrishna.

On Young Rebel Star Prabhas’ birthday, the actor shared the first extensive look at his next, Saaho, titled Shades of Saaho.

The video gave a feel of the stylish thriller that has been shot in India and Abu Dhabi. A special place was reserved for action sequences in the film.

Hollywood action director Kenny Bates composed action episode that was shot in Abu Dhabi. Around 27 cars and five trucks were crashed to shoot the action episode to give real experience to audience.

Prabhas fans and movie buffs were elated with the action-packed video- Shades Of Saaho Chapter 1.

Apparently, they have watched the video multiple times which is the reason why it crossed historic 10 million views in just 24 hours.

The way Prabhas made his entry in style towards end of the video; it gave goosebumps to his fans who might have come out of Baahubali mania.

Music for the video was composed by Thaman S, while the music for the movie is composed by Shankar Ehsaan Loy trio.

Directed by Sujeeth under UV Creations Banner, Saaho features Shraddha Kapoor in female lead role, while Jackie Shroff and Vennela Kishore played important roles.

Aravindha Sametha Veera Raghava has done decent until Dussera weekend although it is yet to breakeven.

The film has collected somewhere around Rs. 83 crore till now and is likely to go past Srimanthudu’s full run share to become the top 6 movie on the all time list.

It still needs to go a fair distance to beat Khaidi No. 150/Bharat Ane Nenu to enter the top 5 list.

With collections coming crashing down post Dussera, Aravindha Sametha has little chance to go up the ladder.

However, the bloated numbers are still in circulation and a couple of websites and box office tracking Twitter handles are also publishing the inflated revenues.

For instance, Aravindha Sametha hasn’t collected at least seventy percent of Rangasthalam’s revenues anywhere in Nizam. But the eleven days numbers of Aravindha Sametha are more or less equal to the eleven days numbers of Rangasthalam!

They are claiming that the film has crossed Rs. 20 crore share mark in Nizam, whereas in reality it is more than Rs. 2 crore short of the claimed number.

Looks like the PR team’s only aim is to make people believe that the film has collected Rs. 100 crore share by the end of Aravindha’s theatrical run. In reality, collecting Rs. 90 crore share looks unlikely as of now, said our trade sources.

Interestingly, neither the producers nor the distributors are coming up with these tall claims except for a few paid websites and social media handles!

In a setback to the organizers, a charity event involving Mahesh Babu had to be dropped owing to the poor response from the NRI audience in the United States. Mahesh, who is shooting for Maharshi in New York, has agreed to participate in the charity event ‘An Evening With Superstar’ scheduled for October 27, 2018 at Marriott Marquis in Times Square.

However, the response for the event isn’t great which pushed the organizers to cancel the event. Initially, the ticket price was fixed at 2000 USD per person. Due to underwhelming response, the price was later reduced to 1250 USD. Yet, there is said to be very few response. After further discount, the final ticket price was placed at 450 USD. Still, there is said to be very limited response. With this, the organizers decided to cancel the event as it’s not worth to hold the event for such meager fund.

Ram Charan frequently indulges in ‘dummas’ to his shoots. Like a school kid, he regularly takes leaves without informing the makers in advance. Well, at least that is the buzz in Film Nagar.This has resulted in Boyapati extending the shoot of his current movie with Ram Charan. The original plan was to wrap up the movie by end of October so that Ram Charan could move on to Rajamouli’s film’s preparatory work.

Rajamouli will be making his next with NTR Jr and Ram Charan and NTR has already begun building body for the role with the help of Lloyd Stevens. Where as Ram Charan is still stuck in Boyapati’s shoot.Boyapati and Ram Charan’s film still has plenty of work to be completed. Sources say, the team is planning to shoot for another 30 working days.

Even the film’s promotion has not begun yet. No first look has been released nor title has been announced officially. The action drama is scheduled for Sankranthi 2019 release.

So, Ram Charan might join Rajamouli’s movie after January.

Savyasachi has already garnered attention with its intriguing teaser. Director Chandoo Mondeti has explored ‘Vanishing Twin Syndrome’ concept and made an actioner out of it.Teaser revealed the basic theme of the film and the trailer is an extension to it.The trailer for Savyasachi gives more insight into the character of Vikram-Aditya played by Naga Chaitanya.

There’s nothing he cannot do as his left hand is more powerful than anybody could imagine. He has no control over it and his power is challenged by the baddie played by Maddy.Madhavan looks stylish yet menacing as the main villain of Savyasachi. The trailer is action packed with Chaitanya flexing his muscles like never before.

Savyasachi looks like a right mix of variety and commercial elements that appeal to contemporary as well as the mass audience.Chay has tried his hand at action sometimes before, but with little success. He seems to be in the right hands now.
