Shailaja Reddy Alludu’s makers claimed that their film collected 23 crores gross in 3 days, which is the highest 3-day collection in Chay’s career. Last night, a success function was held and Chay’s honest speech has been winning everyone’s hearts ever since.

When few young heroes backed out of committed projects in Srikanth Addala’s direction after Brahmotsavam, Sharwanand agreed to be part of it. One of the strongest reasons for Sharwanand to signup this film might be the trust in the producer Allu Aravind.
This film is sure a test for Srikanth Addala and if he bounces back this time at least with a decent hit, he may get busy again. The movie will be announced officially in October.
Bigg Boss 2: Nani Corners ‘Kaushal’ Like Never Before
Few interesting, many boring tasks and lots of bitching throughout the week may not keep the audience glued to the “Bigg Boss 2” show, but the weekend is sure to hit unexpectedly huge viewership. This weekend is not an exception, but the show looked inconsistent a bit.
“Nani” started off with weekend pleasantries and immediately got into confronting the housemates beginning with “Geetha Madhuri”. Nani’s direct question to Geetha on how she felt that one of the housemates entered the house with a lot of ‘homework’ that keeps him home until the finale yielded expected answers, mentioning Nutan Naidu’s help in Kaushal’s preparation. Though “Kaushal” claimed no knowledge about promotions and campaigns outside, Nani’s expressions and tone ended up giving an indirect ‘statement’.
Next comes the topic of Kaushal’s cheap-ass talk to Roll and why the latter failed to confront the former then and there. Host Nani confronted Kaushal about it and dragged it on to embarrass him more after his explanation, rubbishing that the conversation happened much before his kids walked in. Kaushal could not find a word after that to defend himself, as he passed on serious objections on obscenity when Roll and Amit walked shirtless many a time earlier.
Though it was a clear disaster, Nani brought up the captaincy task and questioned how serious were the housemates in a task that grants an entry to finale along with captaincy. He raised the ethical conscience of everyone who looked like they wished no other housemate to become captain, but the pointers turned towards Kaushal when Nani concluded calling Kaushal’s judgment and rules as Sanchalak were disastrous.
It is true that every single move and act are crucial at this stage and Nani’s strong class is also expected. But completely cornering Kaushal has not gone well Kaushal admirers. Particularly the drastic difference in Nani’s tone of talk with Kaushal and with others looked like the actor-host is here on Saturday just to put Kaushal in a defenseless state.

Dil Raju Take Part In Swachh Rail Drive
The fortnight-long Swachh Rail campaign – Swachhta Hi Sewa – Pakhwara – started under South Central Railway on Saturday morning, with many renowned personalities of the city joining hands with railway authorities to sensitize people on keeping platforms spick and span.
The campaign has been mooted by Indian Railways on the lines of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’ to create awareness among rail commuters. It will go on till October 2 to mark the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.However, the main event for the day was organised at Kacheguda railway station under Hyderabad division of SCR. Film producer Dil Raju launched the campaign at the station.
However, the highlight of the event was the launch of an air-conditioned mobile digital movie theatre at the station, which would show films on clean rail and clean India for public awareness.Sources said the theatre can accommodate around 150 people at a time.“We shall play Hindi and Telugu feature films, which carry social messages like cleanliness,” said a railway official.
The digital movie theatre, which will be stationed at Kacheguda station for three days, will hold four shows a day, as per the plan of SCR.

Telangana: Family says honour killing was planned
Protests erupted in a town in Telangana’s Nalgonda district on Saturday after the brutal murder of a man in a suspected case of dishonour killing.Demonstrators called for a shutdown in Miryalguda town to demand justice for a 23-year-old man hacked to death in front of his pregnant wife, outside a local hospital.The murder was captured on CCTV footage that showed Pranay Kumar leaving the hospital, along with his wife, 21-year-old Amrutha Varshini, when a man suddenly attacked him from behind with a machete, killing him.
Amrutha fainted due to shock and was rushed to hospital. She later told police officials that she suspected the murder to have been arranged by her father and uncle, as they had opposed her marriage because her husband was from a different caste and wanted her to have an abortion.
“I have no intention of aborting my baby. Pranay’s baby is my future,” she said, breaking down.”Pranay was such a nice person. He looked after me so well, especially after I became pregnant. I don’t know why caste is so important in this time and age,” she added.The girl’s father Maruti Rao, a businessman, and her uncle Shravan have been named as the main accused in the case. Both the men have been arrested.
The young couple had married just eight months ago after falling in love in school and having been in a relationship since their college days. But both their families opposed the marriage when they found out. Pranay belonged to the Madiga Scheduled Caste whereas Amrutha was from the Vysya caste.
But Pranay’s parents finally gave in to the wedding after he told them that he would only live with her.
His murder shocked the community and sparked protests by organisations working for the welfare of Scheduled Castes. Shops and other business establishments remained shut.Speaking to DeccanChronicle, Mr E, Siddhartha, Pranay’s cousin, said, “Following the wedding reception of the couple on August 17, a man had allegedly visited Pranay’s house, asking if the car could be given on rental basis. It was a very odd request as the person came only to Pranay’s house and spoke only in Hindi.”
“The person who was visible in the CCTV footage and the person who attacked Pranay in front of the hospital premises have quite a few visible features matching. We have taken screen shots of the person in the CCTV footage and submitted it to the police,” added Mr Siddhartha.
Dad, uncle of wife booked
The police has reportedly taken realtor Maruthi Rao and two others for the alleged honour killing of a Dalit man, P. Pranay Kumar, at Miryalaguda in Nalgonda district on Friday. Maruthi Rao is the father of Pranay’s wife T. Amrutha Varshini.
Police sources said he did not show any remorse for the murder, and had confessed to striking the deal for Pranay’s murder for Rs 10 lakh. He reportedly gave Rs 5 lakh as advance to the hired killers.
It’s Official: Pawan To Lead The Grand Alliance
At last, after several months-long dilly-dallying and sly talks, here comes an official statement about the pre-poll alliance between Pawan Kalyan’s Janasena and both the Left parties. CPM State Secretary Madhu’s latest statement has thrown the spotlight on the grand alliance in the poll-bound Andhra Pradesh.
“We are forming a grand alliance in AP with both the Left parties, Janasena, Lok Satta, BSP and Aam Aadmi Party under the leadership of Pawan Kalyan,” Madhu said, further adding, “the grand alliance’s sole aim is to ‘kick out’ the ruling TDP and BJP.”
However, it remains to be seen if the grand alliance can show its might amidst the powerful TDP and YSRCP. Apart from the organizational leadership, CPI, CPM, AAP and the BSP lack a strong cadre which will be instrumental in winning a few seats.
