Rana in another big Bollywood film?
Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan, director Shashank Khaitan and producer Karan Johar are teaming for a high-budget film ‘Rannbhoomi’. Director Shashank, who’s now busy with promotional activities of his latest film Dhadak, will start the pre-production work of Rannbhoomi as soon as Dhadak gets released.
On top of it, Bollywood reports has it that Tollywood hunk and antagonist of the blockbuster Baahubali series – Rana Daggubati has been approached by makers of Rannbhoomi to play a key role in the film. It’s learnt that Rana, who is no new to Hindi Film Industry, has already been given a basic premise of the story to which he seems to have given his nod. However, an official announcement in this regard is yet to be made.
Shashank has recently come up with the first look posters and trailer of Dhadak, which marks the debut of Sridevi’s elder daughter Jhanvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khattar in Bollywood. Dhadak, a remake of super hit Marathi film Sairat, is scheduled to release on 20th July. As soon as it gets released, Shashank will begin to work on full script of Rannbhoomi and makers are expected to come up with an official announcement after the filmmaker wraps pre-production work. Shashank, who collaborated with Varun Dhawan for Badrinath Ki Dulhania and Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania in past past, said ‘Rannbhoomi has been my dream project and for this project, I’ve been making conducting several researches.’
Exclusive: NTR Biopic in Two Parts!
According to sources from industry, the most awaited biopic of NTR will be made in two parts. Director Krish has been making changes to the original script after he replaced Teja.As there is so much to tell about the great actor and leader, Krish came up with the idea of making the film in two volumes.
Balakrishna who was hell bent on not making any changes to the previous script seems to be okay with the changes being made by Krish.The Gautamiputra Satakarni actor has so much trust in Krish’s abilities that he has given him free hand to make changes to the screenplay.
If the reports turn out true, wonder how Krish would divide NTR’s story into two parts. Earlier there was buzz that NTR’s biopic ends with NTR’s great win in the political field.Looks like Krish wants to make it a complete biopic by showing the rise and fall of the legendary actor.Let’s wait for official news from Krish about his take on the story of the greatest actor in the history of TFI.
Telangana Congress In A Shambles!
The resignation of former minister and ex-president of Greater Hyderabad Congress Committee Danam Nagender from the party has clearly exposed the chinks in the Telangana Congress party, which has all these days been boasting of putting up a strong fight against the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi in 2019 assembly elections.Nagender is all set to join the TRS, as was evident by his profound praises for chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and his administration.
But what is more important is that along with Nagender, several other leaders including Mukhesh Goud, his son Vikram Goud, former deputy chief minister Damodar Rajanarasimha and former minister Sunitha Laxma Reddy are also said to be making a beeline to Pragathi Bhavan to join the TRS.Though the Congress has a golden opportunity to come to power because of the growing resentment among the people at the grassroots level, it has spoiled the chances because of the infighting in the party.
Many leaders, who are disgruntled with the style of functioning of present PCC president Capt N Uttam Kumar Reddy, are looking at the TRS as an alternative.This will create an impression among the people that the Congress party is weak and it does not have the capacity to take on the TRS.If there is no powerful alternative, the people would have no option but to vote for the TRS again. And the Congress party will soon get disintegrated, which is what KCR wants.
Danam To Become TRS Chief In GHMC?
Former minister Danam Nagender, who resigned from the Telangana Congress party, is all set to get a bumper offer in the Telangana Rashtra Samithi.According to sources close to him, Danam, who will be joining the TRS on Sunday amidst a lot of fanfare, is most likely to get the crucial post of party president for Greater Hyderabad.Till recently, he was the Greater Hyderabad Congress Committee president and had the grip over the party rank and file across the city. He has a fair understanding of the issues concerning the city.
So, TRS president and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is learnt to have decided to make Danam as the party chief in Greater Hyderabad so as to gain hold over the voters in the forthcoming assembly as well as GHMC elections.In all probability, Danam might also be given the TRS ticket for Secunderabad parliamentary constituency in 2019 general election. If another former MLA Mukesh Goud also joins the Congress party, both Hyderabad brothers would get back their lost glory.
In fact, Danam would have joined the TRS long ago and he had even prepared cut-outs and posters for his joining the party. He dropped out at the last minute as KCR refused audience to him and asked him to join in the presence of local leaders at Telangana Bhavan. Nagender felt insulted and stayed back in the Congress.
Akira Not Moving Into PK’s House
Putting speculations at rest, Renu Desai, Pawan Kalyan’s former wife, clarified that her son Akira is not moving to Hyderabad.The other day Akira was spotted with his father Pawan Kalyan in Vijayawada as the star performed house-warming ceremony at his newly rented house there.
This led to believe people that Akira Nandan is completely moving to his father’s house to pursue higher studies n Hyderabad.There are speculations that Akira will also be debuting as teenage star. However, Renu Desai shot down the rumors. She said he is on vacation.
“Akira is just spending few days of school holidays with his father. He has not shifted to Hyderabad,” she clarified.Pawan Kalyan and Renu Desai have two children Akira and Adya. The kids are staying with her mother in Pune after the couple got separated.
Pawan Kalyan latter married Russian woman Anna and has a daughter and a son with her. Akira frequently visits his father in Hyderabad. On the other hand, there are reports that Renu Desai is all set to marry second time. She recently fell in love with a Maharastrian.
Reel Buzz: Vinayak’s Hopes Crash?
After the huge debacle of Inttelligent, director VV Vinayak is totally distraught as he has no proper script to work on. In fact, he has no clarity about what he has to take up next.However, his big plan includes doing a film with Balakrishna. Even Balayya has clarity and has said yes to Vinayak if he bring along a suitable story for a big film. But that is the biggest problem of Vinayak now.
Barring Akula Siva’s stories, it is very hard to get a story past Balakrishna. Though he had narrated many scripts during the making of Inttelligent, none of them got okayed. And the problem continues for Vinayak.This apart, there is talk that once he completes the biopic of his father NTR, Balakrishna will get on to Boyapati’s film directly. Boyapati has also made it clear that after his present film, he will move on to Balayya’s film.
So, by Sankranthi both Balayya and Boyapati will become free and they can get on to their new film next.Now that leaves out Vinayak. Even if he gets a script okayed, then it will happen only in the second half of next year.Till then, even if he wants to, there are no heroes who are willing to work with him.
Kuppam TDP leaders walk out from Lokesh’s meeting
Infighting among the TDP cadre of Kuppam constituency came to the fore during Nara Lokesh’s 2-day visit to the constituency headed by his father.Lokesh was bombarded with a deluge of complaints from party leaders in the constituency accusing one another of corruption in sanctioning houses and ration cards.
Cadre from Kuppam, Ramakuppam, Gudupalli and Shantipuram mandals attended the meeting.While people of the Kuppam constituency consider Mr. Naidu as “God,” it was ridiculous on the part of some cadre to stray from the party’s principles and goals, said Lokesh.Meanwhile, even as Lokesh was addressing the cadre, some senior TDP leaders present there walked away from the venue expressing their anguish at the “harsh treatment” meted out to them, ignoring their services to the party for over three decades.
Despite this, Chandrababu will have absolutely no problem in retaining his Kuppam seat, the major worry is Hindupur where the antics of Nandamuri Balakrishna and his constant absence from the constituency have angered the people so much that it is doubtful whether he will win the trust of the voters again.

A United Front Against KCR
KCR is contemplating a non-BJP/Congress alliance that will change the contours of the political scenario in India.While one does not know whether this plan will take shape, back home, a front is being formed against KCR himself.CPI State Secretary Chada Venkat Reddy said that the CPI, TJS (Party founded by Kodandaram) and the Congress will soon join hands to unseat KCR’s autocratic administration.
if such a front does indeed materialise then the TDP will also in likelihood be part of it except for the BJP and MIM which have an understanding with KCR.On their own, no party is powerful enough or has a charismatic leader like KCR but united, they can cause a severe dent to TRS aspirations.
The Opposition is also looking to cash in on the Centre’s refusal for the Bayyaram steel plant.Beyond a point, KCR or the TRS cannot criticize the Modi government and this according to the Opposition will work in their favour.Rahul Gandhi has also apparently given the go ahead to Uttam Kumar Reddy to woo the Andhra voters in Telangana and field some of them in those constituencies where they are in a majority.
Will this alliance finally result in Uttam Kumar Reddy getting to shave his beard or will he have to let it grow till 2024?
