Xmas Party: Everyone Asked Pawan About It

Share

A couple of days ago Pawan Kalyan and his camaraderie with brother Chiranjeevi became polestar at AP and Telangana Governor ESL Narasimhan’s Xmas dinner. Then many celebs, political honchos and bureaucrats lined-up to interact with him.

Apparently many guests are said to have asked Pawan about one thing. As there is clarity over his political planning, they didn’t ask about it. At the same time, they don’t want to question him about his personal life, his newborn son, because that is a personal matter. So, what is that they have asked?

Actually, some big political honchos asked Pawan if he’s repeating what his brother has done. “Are you quitting movies for real after Agnyaathavaasi?” one big politician asked him, says a source. At the same time, some others said to Pawan, “If Agnyaathavaasi is your last film, then you should throw a farewell party to us”.

However, Pawan is said to have smiled at all those questions and then gave a simple answer of ‘not yet decided’ for most of the time.

You Didn’t Fail Sunil, But Story Failed – Chiru

Share

After turning as a full-time hero, comedian Sunil hasn’t scored many hits other than a couple of films. What does he generally do after scoring a flop? He says that he won’t meet anyone in the break period, except one.

“I don’t have this habit of meeting people other than on film sets. I don’t engage in any PR actives or attend any parties. But after every film of mine, I meet only one person and he is Megastar Chiranjeevi garu” says Sunil, explaining that he has huge bonding with the Megastar whom he fondly addresses as Annayya.

So what transpires between him and Chiru at the meetings? “He gives me energy and strength, teaches me how to be brave. He says to me, ‘You didn’t fail Sunil, but your film failed due to lack of story. Move ahead, do next film’. No one gives such encouraging words than him” said Sunil.

The comedian who is looking forward for the release of ‘2 Countries’ movie this week, adds, “Whatever strength Megastar gives to me, I pray that God gives it back as a good deed to the Mega family”.

Sunil’s 2 Countries is a remake of Malayalam film of the same name. Telugu version is being produced and directed by N Shankar of Jai Bolo Telangana fame.

I’ve Spent 30 Cr On Marriage, Not 500 Cr

Share

Needless to say, mining baron and BJP leader Gali Janardhan Reddy’s Open Heart interview by ABN Radhakrishna is going viral at the moment. From changing his dressing style to the way he will speak, Mr Reddy changed himself big time which is evident from this interview.

Unearthing various facts (as said by him), he gave clarity to many things including that his daughter’s marriage where film starlets like Rakul Preet and Tamanna are in special attendance for dance numbers. Talking about the marriage, Gali broke the shell that he hasn’t spent 500 crores for the marriage as spread by the media folks.

“No, there is no truth in 500 crores being spent on the marriage. I’ve spent only 30 crores. I’ve given details of the expenditure to Income Tax folks after they called me for questioning the day after marriage. From the taxi driver who chauffeured us to the guy who supplied flowers, from shamiana to other settings, from jewellery to costumes, I’ve all the bills, all proofs of money spent, all the phone numbers of people involved, and paid everything in clean transaction”, said Gali Janardhan Reddy.

He also implied that people took the marriage in a negative way as he happens to be in public life. “There are many biggies and many have spent huge than what I’ve. But my daughter’s marriage became food for media as I’m well known” he avers.

Same Plot for Third Successive Film!

Share

At a time when new generation directors are coming up with novel subjects and trying to be as diverse as possible, director Trinadharao Nakkina has surprisingly stuck to the same plot that he used in his first two films for his third film, if we go by reports.

Nakkina’s third directorial has recently been officially announced. Starring Ram in lead role, the film will be bankrolled by Dil Raju. It is heard that Nakkina will explore the conflict between son-in-law and father-in-law in his film. While Ram plays the son-in-law, a young guy with high attitude, Prakash Raj is reportedly on board play the father-in-law character.

Interestingly, the director explored the similar Mama vs Alludu conflict in his first two films – Cinema Choopistha Maava and Nenu Local as well, and scored hits. Whereas it was Rao Ramesh vs Raj Tarun and Sachin Khedekar vs Nani in the first two films respectively, its going to be Prakash Raj vs Ram in the third film.

Despite the tried basic plot, Nakkina’s strength lies in sketching impressive screenplay with sufficient punch dialogues and entertainment. He should come up with another solid entertainer despite the time-tested theme since the film is very important for Ram’s career. Dil Raju’s brand is anyway there as a major assurance.

How Jai Simha Can Surprise Agnyaathavaasi!

Share

Even though Balakrishna’s “Jai Simha” and Pawan Kalyan’s “Agnyaathavaasi” are slated to clash for Sankranthi, people say that war will be one sided only. Read how Jai Simha can surprise Agnyaathavaasi and prove everyone wrong.

The craze of Pawan-Trivikram combo and the Balayya’s recent track record with non-Boyapati films might be making people assume that Agnyaathavaasi will have the last laugh. But, what people are ignoring is that both these films belong to different genres, and Jai Simha can offer what Agnyaathavaasi presumably lack, massy action.

History has proven that mass films score as much as family entertainers during sankranthi season. While the album and promos of Agnyaathavaasi indicated that it will be a class film, with a touch of Trivikram-mark stylish action episodes, the trailer of Jai Simha hinted that it is an action entertainer with Balayya-style mass action and punch dialogues, a genre that B,C centre audience loves, of course if the screenplay is connecting. In case, Agnyaathavaasi fails to entertain mass audience, Jai Simha can easily cash in on the situation as it may offer plentiful mass moments.

Audience many not have high expectations on ‘Jai Simha’, but Balayya’s films are unpredictable. He has the history of scoring massive blockbusters with the films that released without many expectations. One can’t judge a complete mass film before watching it because it can hit bull’s eye as much as it can misfire.

The war is not going to be one sided for sure, so people taking Jai Simha light need to wait until the release of both films to celebrate the victory.

Balayya’s Film Inspired from Rajini’s Film

Share

Balakrishna’s Jai Simha has been inspired from Rajinikanth’s blockbuster film Muthu. None other than the film’s story writer, Ratnam, has corroborated that Jai Simha’s story has been inspired from the 1995 classic film Muthu which was directed by KS Ravikumar.

Now, Jai Simha is again directed by KS Ravikumar himself. Ratnam enthused confidence that the film would be yet another blockbuster.

Inside buzz is that the film’s second half has good dose of drama, sentiment that one would walk away from cinemas with tears. The film features three heroines alongside Balyya – Nayantara, Natasha and Hari Priya.

Jai Simha is going to hit the screens on Jan 12, 2018 on the eve of Sankranthi. The film’s makers are quite confident that it will be a feast to fans.
