Actress and former wife of Kamal Haasan, Sarika was literally left homeless, after the death of her mother recently.

As per the will of Sarika’s mother the entire property including a flat in Mumbai have been bequeathed to her family friend Dr. Vikram Thakur.

This had put Sarika at peril as she didn’t even have a place to stay. Meanwhile, Bollywood super star Aamir Khan, who came to know about Sarika’s plight has offered a helping hand to the actress as she has been one of the best friends of Aamir’s younger sister.

Sarika separated from Southern star Kamal Haasan in 2004. Her daughter, actress Shruti Haasan owns an apartment in Mumbai while the other daughter Akshara stays with her father Kamal in Chennai.

Jabardasth anchor Anasuya Bharadwaj is playing an important role in Ram Charan’s upcoming film Rangasthalam.Although Anasuya hasn’t revealed any details about Rangasthalam and her character in it, she says that Ram Charan will make everybody proud with his work in the film.

Despite negative reviews and disappointing word-of-mouth, MCA managed to rake in decent collections during the holiday season. Yet it has to go a long way given that its theatrical business is pegged at Rs 30 Crore. This aside, there is an interesting debate happening in trade circuits.

If the film really break-evens, then we could agree that Nani and Sai Pallavi are indeed stars. Else, one has to accept the fact humbly.

A hit film will always push the careers of whole cast and crew upside, while a flop film could simple disperse them. One such movie everyone saw in 2017 is “Mister”, directed by Sreenu Vaitla and featuring Varun Tej in the lead.

That film’s colossal failure at the box office is a huge setback for everyone including director Sreenu Vaitla who is yet to find a hero and director for his next. Luckily Varun Tej has survived this crash as he was rescued by blockbuster Fidaa in a short time. While this Mister is safe, his girls from the film are still struggling.

Unfortunately, this year is a huge blow for heroine Lavanya Tripathi as she scored only flops post Mister. Including Radha, Yuddham Saranam and Vunnadi Okkate Zindagi, she got four flops in hand. Either Sandeep Kishan’s delayed film Maayavan or Sai Dharam’s Intelligent (working title) should change her fate in 2018.

Then we have single movie sensation, Kumari Hebbah Patel, who scored two more flops with Andhagadu and Angel after Varun Tej’s movie. She’s yet to sign her next film in Tollywood and looks like struggling to find a right script or offer.

If we have to talk about writers of Mister, Gopi Mohan and Sreedhar Seepana, both started their debut films as directors but there is no clue about those projects.

The trailer of Jai Simha (NBK 102) is a Oora Mass treat from Nandamuri Balakrishna after a historic biopic Gautamiputra Satakarni and stylish action entertainer Paisa Vasool.

Balayya flexes his muscles, goons fly high in the air, and the trailer is loaded with high-octane action scenes. And yes, there are Balayya trademark punch dialogues on ‘Simham’ that would make his fans go berserk.

Nayantara’s presence and her performance bring ‘family’ touch as well to the film. Chirantan’s background music seems to be electrifying. On the whole, director KS Ravi Kumar seems to have delivered a perfect mass film to Balayya’s fans who have been waiting to see him in such avatar with a bated breath.

Looks like, Jai Simha will be a perfect Sankranthi treat from Balayya as the film is hitting the screens on Jan 12, 2018.

IMDb, the world’s most popular source for movie, TV and celebrity content, has unveiled the list of the Top 10 Indian Movies of 2017. And, the list has its share of surprises.

“Baahubali 2”, the Telugu epic film that created a havoc at worldwide box office, was expected by fans to make it to the Top, considering its popularity. The film made it to the list, but ranked No.2

The film that beat Baahubali 2 to take the crown of ‘Best Indian film of 2017’ (According to IMDb) is Tamil film, ‘Vikram Vedha’. Starring Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi in lead roles, the crime thriller received unanimous applause upon its release and became a blockbuster at box office. The film was called by many as the best film made in the gangster genre.

At No.3 is once again our Telugu film, “Arjun Reddy”, which has attained cult status. Despite being a star-less Telugu film, ‘Arjun Reddy’ managed to get the attention of nationwide audience and emerged as the 3rd best Indian film.

At No.6 we have another Telugu film, Rana Daggubati’s “Ghazi”, the much-appreciated underwater war drama. Its a proud moment for Telugu film fraternity to have three of our films in the Top 10. IMDb announced the Top 10 list based on user ratings.

Aamir Khan’s “Secret Superstar” and Irrfan’s “Hindi Medium” have taken the 4th and 5th positions respectively. Two films starring Akshay Kumar – Toilet: Ek Prem Katha and “Jolly LLB 2” have also found a place in the Top 10. The last two spots are taken by Vijay’s controversial Tamil film “Mersal” and Mammootty’s Malayalam film “The Great Father”.

The music video for hit single “Despacito”, released in January this year, has become the most-watched YouTube video ever, by clocking 4.6 billion views. The Spanish song, whose title means “slowly” in English, has clocked Billions of views very fast, contrary to its meaning.

The single that featured artistes Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee, became the most watched YouTube video in mere seven months, faster than any of its predecessors. Apparently, the video has gained prominence after American pop star Justin Bieber remixed it in English.
