The other day Kalyani Priyadarshan, daughter of Priyadarshan and Lissy, made her acting debut in Telugu with Hello. Apart from good acting performance, her looks got thumbs down from critics. Many opine that she is not so beautiful and may not be a ‘heroine material’ for glam roles.

While Akhil’s maiden heroine Sayyeshaa Saigal got registered with her looks and talent, Kalyani seems to be lagging behind. By the time Akhil got released, Sayyeshaa is heaped with offers in Telugu and other languages. However, she moved to Bollywood, Kollywood subsequently and juggling with films across multiple languages.

Whereas Kalyani is yet to receive big offers here in Telugu and elsewhere. Let’s wait and see, what is in store for her.

Comedian-turned-hero Sunil has already announced that he would be back to comic roles. While his 2 Countries (remake of super hit Malayalam film 2 Countries) is due for release, Sunil has already made up plan for his next films.

Sunil said to have signed an important role in Sreenu Vytla’s next which will have Ravi Teja in the lead role.

Vytla and Sunil is a lucky combination. The duo has cracked good jokes and made the film entertaining. Sunil and Ravi Teja too have good rapport.

Buzz is that the film is going to produce by Mythri Movie Makers. Since they’re making films with stars, the producers are planning to unveil a new banner and produce Vytla and Ravi Teja’s film on the new banner. More details are yet to come out.

We hear that there is a big change in young hero Raj Tarun’s latest project that is being produced by Dil Raju. Under the direction of “Ala Ela” fame Aneesh Krishna, this new film titled “Lover” got launched amidst hungama. None other than young Malayalam cutie Gayathri Suresh is the heroine of this film. Going by the cutest looks of her, Tollywood just got floored back then.

Latest update is that Gayathri is now pretty much out of the project for reasons unknown. She’s replaced by Pune based hottie Riddhi Kumar, who happens to be a model and also the winner of ‘Face of India’ contest. Insiders are saying that due to production delays, Gayathri Suresh walked out of this project.

Besides entire Tamil Nadu, political aficionados across the country are keenly watching as the counting of votes for the RK Nagar by-poll is currently underway at the Queen Mary College in Chennai.

TTV Dinakaran, the nephew of Sasikala, who is contesting the election as an Independent candidate, was leading with a big margin over his AIADMK and DMK rivals, and seems set for a big win. Thanking voters, he has vowed to bring down the EPS-OPS government in Tamil Nadu within three months. His supporters have already started celebrating outside the counting centre.

While Dinakaran contested Independently, the EPS-OPS faction fielded Madhusudhanan. Making it a triangular contest, the DMK fielded N Maruthu Ganesh. The result will decide the political legacy of late CM Jayalalithaa, whose death necessitated the by-election.

Voting for the by-election was held on December 21, and it saw a record 77 percent turnout. The result will be declared by noon today.

Stylish Star Allu Arjun is coming up with the film “Na Peru Surya” in April 2018. As this Vakkantam Vamsi directorial is being shot from a time, Bunny has now decided to take his fans for a ride.

Taking to Twitter, Bunny himself announced that the First Impact of Na Peru Surya will be on January 1st, 2018. And this New Year treat is nothing but the First Look poster and also the teaser of the movie. Though Bunny hasn’t revealed what will be there in the first look, it is being said that an adrenaline rushing 1 minute 20 seconds teaser of the film will be released.

It is heard that the teaser showcases pure action happening at the border as Allu Arjun plays the role of Major Surya of Indian Military in the film, and the background score is given by Bollywood composers Vishal-Sekhar is top notch. While the teaser is already ready, Bunny wants to release it after his brother Allu Sirish’s film hits cinemas on 28th December.

Directed by Vakkantam Vamsi, the film has Nagababu presenting it and Lagadapathi bankrolling it. Crazy heroine of the season, Anu Emmanuel, is the leading lady of Na Peru Surya.
