Can Naidu Emulate KTR and Praise YSR?
Everybody has seen how Telangana IT Minister KT Rama Rao showered praises on Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu for making Hyderabad as an IT hub.
Describing Naidu as the pioneer of IT industry in Hyderabad, KTR gave all credits to the Andhra chief minister for bringing top IT companies like Microsoft to Hyderabad 17 years ago and putting the city on global map.
“Because of his efforts, several other big companies Google and Apple came to Hyderabad. Naidu’s unparalleled efforts led to the development of the capital city of united AP as IT hub during his tenure as the Chief Minister,” he said.
So far so good. Nobody would deny Naidu’s contribution to Hyderabad’s IT industry and KTR was graceful enough in acknowledging it.
However, one wonders whether Naidu can display the same kind of graciousness in acknowledging the contribution of former Congress chief minister late Y S Rajasekhar Reddy on irrigation and infrastructure sectors.
It is an indisputable fact that it was YSR who had started the Polavaram major irrigation project in 2005 and brought all clearances from the Centre during his regime.
It was YSR, who had constructed the right and left canals of the Polavaram project and the main headworks also began during the regimes of his successors Rosaiah and Kiran Kumar Reddy.
But does Naidu acknowledge the same, if not praise YSR? He never does. Instead, he is trying to claim all the credit for the Polavaram works saying it was his dream project!
Yes, Mahesh-Trivikram Film Is On
The moment Haarika Hassine Productions announced their next with Venkatesh in the direction of Trivikram, media got busy filling up on stories about a fall out between Trivikram and Mahesh.
Though according to initial stories, Trivikram had plans of working with Mahesh once he completed a film with NTR Jr, Haarika Hassine’s announcement gave rise to new set of stories.
While it remains that Haarika Hassine’s sixth film would be with Venkatesh, it is not the film that Trivikram was supposed to do with Mahesh.
In fact, Trivikram will be doing a film with Mahesh for Mythri Movies banner which had already given advance to the director.
So, after making NTR’s film, Trivikram will take a gap from Haarika Hassine and do Mahesh’s film, following which he will move on to Venkatesh’s film.
Meanwhile, though the film has been announced, no details have been divulged about Venkatesh’s film and it is not clear if the film will be a multi-starrer.
In the past, during an interview, Venkatesh had mentioned that Trivikram had narrated a multi-starrer story to him.
And Mahesh’s 26th film will be with Trivikram and there is no change of plan there!
Finally, Varma Reacts On Pawan Kalyan
Like the big question #WhyKattappaKilledBaahubali, many mega and PK fans are now asking, why is Ram Gopal Varma not commenting on Pawan Kalyan’s recent Chalo Re Chalo Re Chal tour in Andhra Pradesh. As long as he commented, criticised and made fun of Pawan, they wanted him to shut his mouth, but now they are more worried about his silence.
Finally, Varma has left his vow of silence only to heap showers of praise and admiration towards the Janasena President. With a lengthy statement, the once maverick director mentioned that he wants to thank Pawan Kalyan because the numero uno hero has taught him to think before talking.
Especially the director has indirectly hinted about the ‘gundu’ rumour and stated that Pawan showed an extraordinary honesty in clearing the air. On that note, we have to remember, Varma made most of the ‘gundu’ rumour by including the shot of a person getting head tonsured in Rakta Charitra teasers and making most publicity out of it.

Sources also inform that both Chaitu and Sam will be leaving to a foreign resort to ring in New Year and chill during the holiday season. This will be their second honeymoon trip.
Actress Bhavana’s Wedding Date Fixed
If rumor mills are to be believed, Malayalam actor Bhavana and Kannada producer Naveen, who got engaged at a private ceremony on March 9, 2017, is set to tie the knot on December 22.
The marriage is likely to be a low-key affair like their engagement and will be held in Thrissur.
Naveen was the producer of Bhavana’s first Kannada movie Romeo.Recently, online media were abuzz with reports that the marriage was put on hold due to some undisclosed reasons.
SCS: Jagan’s Masterplan To Counter TDP?
The issue of Special Category Status for Andhra Pradesh, which was almost a forgotten chapter till a few months ago, is all set to heat up the politics in the state once again, triggering a war of one-upmanship between the ruling Telugu Desam Party and the main opposition YSR Congress party.
The TDP, which is getting prepared to cut off ties with the Bharatiya Janata Party sooner or later, is planning to rake up the special category issue on the pretext that the Centre has not been releasing enough funds to the state as promised in the special financial package last year.
Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu is learnt to have asked his party MPs to raise the issue in Parliament and question the Centre for failing to fulfil its promise of special package.
They would ask the Centre to consider granting the special financial package, which was extended to the hill states for another term of 10 years, to Andhra Pradesh as well.
Apparently realising that the TDP might gain an upper hand on the SCS issue, YSRC president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy is learnt to have asked his party MPs to take up the issue first and stall the Parliament.
As a master stroke, the party MPs would submit their resignations to Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan instantly to bring pressure on the Centre for granting special category status.
Then, the YSRC will corner the TDP leadership, demanding that it should ask its MPs, too, to resign from their Parliament membership besides pulling out of the NDA, if it is so sincere about achieving special category status to AP.This will definitely land Naidu in deep soup, say observers.

Indian Cricketer’s Father Arrested
Madhukar Baburao Rahane, father of Indian cricket batsman Ajinkya Rahane has been reportedly arrested by Delhi police after he dashed a woman with his speeding car. The woman who’s severely injured passed away while getting treated in a government hospital.
The 67-year old Baburao Rahane, who was driving his i20 car on Highway No.4 in Kangal area, lost control of his vehicle and hit a woman Asha Tai Kamble. The local people, who gathered at the accident zone, took the woman to hospital and handed over Rahane’s father to police officials. The Delhi Police have registered a case against Madhukar under IPC 304A, 337, 338, 279, 184.
Ajinkya Rahane shot to fame with his outstanding performance in IPL and made his international debut against England in 2011. In the course of time, the right-handed batsman emerged as one of the finest youngsters in team and also served team India as an opening batsman. However, he is not part of Indian squad in the ongoing series against Sri Lanka.
Shocking: Teachers Gave Alcohol to 20 Students
Parents trust teachers to impart good values in their children, but what if the people who are entrusted with such crucial responsibility themselves cause more damage than doing their duty?
In a shocking incident that occurred in a government school in Karnataka, the headmaster and two teachers of the school reportedly served alcohol to 20 students, who had asked for water. This incident took place during a school-authorized excursion.
While on their way back from the excursion, the headmaster and two teachers, who were sent as the guardians of the students, reportedly gave them water with alcohol mixed in it, when the students had got thirsty and requested for water. While some students threw up, the others felt giddy after consuming the drink.
Reportedly, both the teachers and the headmaster have been suspended with immediate effect and an inquiry has been started in the matter.

Rarely we have seen Telugu film heroes essaying physically challenging characters, especially blind roles. The times have changed, and so do our filmmakers. We have recently seen mass maharaja Ravi Teja playing blind character in “Raja The Great”. Now, another hero is all set to play blind protagonist in an upcoming film.
Noted writer-filmmaker Kona Venkat has recently announced a project starring Aadi Pinisetty and Taapsee in lead roles. Harinath is the director. Gulte has now exclusively learned from our sources that Aadi will essay a blind man in the film, which is going to be a horror thriller.
Aadi has already proved his mettle as an actor with films like Mrugam, Sarrainodu, Ninnu Kori etc. and this challenging role in the new film is expected to pose a challenge to his acting prowess. Taapsee also has a meaty role in the film. More details about the project will be revealed shortly.

Naga Shaurya Gets Another Shock?
Naga Shaurya’s Chalo has seen multiple release dates already and the film is now all set to release on Feb 2nd owing to a slew of releases in December ( MCA, Hello, Okka Kshanam, 2 Countries) and January (Agnyaathavaasi, Jai Simha, Gang, Bhaagamathie, Manasuki Nachindi, Achari America Yatra). The film originally planned for Dec 23 release has been moved to Feb 2nd.
Even as he is clashing with Awe on Feb 2nd, the Oohalu Gusagusalaade star has now received another shocker as his another film Kanam (Telugu-Tamil bilingual) is now slated for release on Feb 9th.
Lyca Productions, which is producing Kanam, announced that Kanam would release simultaneously in Telugu, Tamil on Feb 9th. The film also features Sai Pallavi and the film’s trailer did raise the curiosity.
Having just a week gap between both his films may not be welcome move for Shaurya. Given that Chalo also happens to be his home production, he is now seems to be perplexed. Will Shaurya change the release date of Chalo or will he stick to the same date? Let’s wait and see.
