When it comes to media these days, the mantra is like ‘do me a favour I’ll do a favour for your film or other project’. But there are many polite, honest and upright people among journalists who have set certain standards for themselves and also for the industry they are part of.

Other day senior journalist and writer Pasupuleti Rama Rao has unveiled his latest book, titled ‘Tera Venuka Dasari’ and it’s like a semi-biographical account of the good deeds taken up by late Darsakaratna Dasari Narayana Rao. Megastar Chiranjeevi has graced this occasion as a Chief Guest and revealed an interesting thing about this journalist.

“During my early days, when I’m struggling as an actor, one day I read a small article on me written in Jyothi Chitra magazine, where they praised my talents. For such small actors like me back then, such articles give a lot of self-confidence and boost us up. It was written by Pasupuleti and when I met him, I offered him a 100 rupees note, which was a huge amount for me back then, but he shuddered as if something wrong has happened. He refused to take the money politely and confirmed that he will keep encouraging talents and that’s his job. He’s the true blue progressive thinker” said Chiranjeevi.

As time passed, one could see how media houses have changed big time with each journalist taking sides of few actors and the addition of political interests only worsened the situation. Let’s have a look at Pasupuleti as an example and rethink!!

Both the songs that were released miss the magic that one expect from PK-Trivikram film. The remaining songs in the album will also be very classy, say reports. In that case, the album will be a tough nut to crack for mass audience, and might prove a potential drawback for the film at box office.

NTR, ANR and Krishna have many films to proudly flaunt, but Chiranjeevi has none. That’s why in old age he could feel proud of doing Sye Raa”.

While Narayana Murthy’s comments took every guest at the event by a surprise, including the likes of Raghavendra Rao, Allu Arvind, Kodi Ramakrishna and Muralimohan, it is Megastar Chiranjeevi who has just given a  simple smile and said ‘thank you’ to R Narayana Murthy.

Industry people, however, feel that Narayana Murthy went little overboard with such remarks. “Even much talked about films like 3 Idiots and PK are also commercial movies only. Similarly, we have Jagadekaveerudu Athiloka Sundari and others for Chiranjeevi. There’s nothing wrong with doing just commercial films rather social revolutionary dramas because they make an industry survive. Also by the time Chiru became a big star, people are not watching such Bobbili Pulis and Prem Nagars. Trends changed” an industry expert pined.

Probably revolution loving Murthy hasn’t seen films like Apadhbandhavudu and Rudraveena kinds of movies, quips Mega fans, in the meantime.

Shame! Actress politician Roja and actor Producer Bandla Ganesh stooped to a level where they exchanged unthinkables and unprintables in a open call debate on a news channel. This conversation-debate-fight turned too vulgar and odd and as a public representative and a reputed producer, they both could argue on a point choosing decent words on a public medium atleast.

Going by the latest happenings in Shruti Haasan’s personal life, indications are strong that she is getting ready to tie the knot with her boyfriend soon.

Apparently, the newest announcement coming from ‘Haarika and Haasini Creations’ has surprised the film fraternity. They have suddenly announced that Trivikram’s next project and this banner’s 6th film, will feature Daggubati Venkatesh in the lead. And that led to some discussions now.

After wrapping their Production No 4 ‘Agnyathavasi’, this filmmaking company announced their future 5th project as Trivikram and NTR’s film. Though the shooting of that film hasn’t commenced yet, muhurat event was graced by none other than Pawan Kalyan. And then, NTR was all of a sudden part of Rajamouli’s unexpected multi-starrer that also features Ram Charan in the lead.

Since that tweet of Rajamouli has bombarded Tollywood, there was a buzz that Trivikram and Jr NTR’s project will be delayed as Rajamouli wants to start shooting from March 2018. Now that Haarika and Haasini announced their Production No 6 with Venkatesh, more doubts are clouding over NTR’s project. Is that project delayed or completely shelved? Sources from the production houses however stated that there is no such thing called shelving.

“Venky has to complete his film with director Teja and by that time Trivikram will wrap his movie with NTR. After 70% completion of Trivikram’s project, NTR will join Rajamouli’s film. And for that project, even Ram Charan needs to finish 70% of Boyapati Sreenu’s movie and join. So all equations, timelines and projects are carefully set and none is cancelled or delayed”, the source said.
