Flop Film Behind Agnathavasi Story?

Share

Inspiring from Hollywood films is not a new thing when it comes to wizard-of-words Trivikram. Most of his films, however, has scenes lifted from foreign films including that of train jump scene in Athadu, bank robbery in Julayi and Brahmi’s leaves falling episode in Attarintiki Daredi.

Unlike picking scenes, we now hear that Trivikram this time took story line of his latest film, #PSPK25 which is titled Agnathavasi, from a foreign movie. Reports say that Trivikram took the skeletal storyline of “Largo Winch” movies, Part 1 and 2, along with some scenes. It is being largely speculated that this French film has impressed Trivikram quite a lot that he nativised into a Telugu story.

Largo Winch is a French film series based on Belgian comic novels of the same name. It deals with the story of wealthy businessman’s son Largo who is brought up secretly at a faraway country for decades and then comes to save the empire of his father, who was just shot dead by some enemies. The twists, romance, action scenes in these two films are amazing, but surprisingly, the films haven’t done well at box office.

Insiders say, ‘Trivkram took the story of that flop flick, underlined the loopholes, corrected them, added his philosophical and magical dialogue touch and suited it well to Pawan’s persona and onscreen charisma’. They added that the film will have 50% original scenes that will just add mesmeric colour to the original story. Featuring Pawan Kalyan, Keerthi Suresh and Anu Emmanuel in the leads, Agnathavasi hits cinemas on January 10, 2018.

How ‘Foodie’ Kriti Sanon Keeps Fit

Actress Kriti Sanon indulges in dal makhani, pizzas, pastas and more, but says she ensures she doesn’t overdo it and doesn’t miss her workout to keep fit.The “Bareilly Ki Barfi” actress, who was here for the launch of Skechers Street collection here earlier this week, told IANS: “I am someone who is a big foodie. I am Punjabi, I’m from Delhi and I love eating everything from butter chicken to dal Makhani, or pizzas, pastas and everything. So, I maintain a balance.

“I don’t overdo anything and whenever I do, then I workout a little more than usual.”Her fitness mantra is to eat right, drink a lot of water and exercise.

Does she prefer outdoor or indoor workouts?

“I think I prefer a mix of both. I am someone who tends to get bored of one kind of workout regime, so I do a mix of gym workout, dancing, Pilates and that’s about it,” said the actress, who has also featured in movies like “Heropanti”, “Dilwale” and “Raabta”.Kriti also stressed on the importance of being at comfort while exercising.

“You can’t be wearing denims to workout because that’s not going to allow you to workout your level best. So you need to be in comfortable clothes and great footwear that gives you a good grip and good support in the exercises that you do,” she said.As for herself, she says her forever comfort wear lies in sneakers.”You will find me wearing sneakers when I’m stepping out, when I’m at airports or on a daily shoot,” she said, adding that she likes metallic sneakers a lot.

How she dresses up on a given day is also driven by her mood.”I’d suggest people to style to your comfort but wear something that you feel makes you look good. I also style according to my mood. Sometimes when I don’t feel like dressing up, I go for denims, a T-shirt and white sneakers.”And then there are times when I feel like dressing up, and I go for a maxi, a dress or a jumpsuit. But shoes in a way, complete your look. It makes it look trendier and complete.”

Sai Pallavi Shocks Dil Raju

Share

The credit of introducing Sai Pallavi to Telugu screen goes to Dil Raju without a doubt. And it was during the making of Fidaa that she agreed to do two more films with the banner. One is Nani’s MCA. But producer Dil Raju got the shock when it came to the second film.

Talk is that Sai Pallavi refused to act in the film starring Nithin. The film will be directed by Sateesh Vegnesh and it will be a family entertainer. Apparently Sai Pallavi refused to work with Nithin. The role has now gone to Pooja Hegde, who was last seen in Dil Raju’s Duvvada Jagannadham.

While Sai Pallavi was open to work in all three films, she turned down Sateesh Vegnesh’s film as she did not like the heroine’s character narrated to her.On the other hand, Pooja Hegde is currently acting in a film titled Sakshyam. Nithin-Vegnesh’s shoot will begin in February and by then an official announcement will be made.

What Critics Are Saying

Sai Dharam Tej starrer “Jawaan”, which is directed by writer turned director BVS Ravi, is now in theaters. It opened to mixed talk. Major praise is going for the performances of Sai Dharam Tej and Prasanna. However, many reviews claim that the film falls short of being a good action drama because of bad execution and a weak climax.

Here’s what critics are saying about the movie.

Times Of India: “Jawaan’ is the tale of the face-off between Ram and Raavan – Jai and Keshav. While the love track, flashy songs, et al provide a good distraction in the first half, the second half could see the audience sigh with impatience whenever a song popped up on-screen.One expects a tale like this to be fast paced and gripping – that of a man trying to save a special missile launcher called ‘Octopus’ from falling into the wrong hands. But ‘Jawaan’ is too busy telling the tale of the face-off that it fails to focus on that.

Preachy dialogues about ‘desh bhakti’ and doubtful political inclinations aside, you can go watch this one if you’re a Sai Dharam Tej fan. Steer clear of it otherwise!”The Hindu: “Jawaan talks a lot about patriotism, putting your country ahead of you and your family and if needed be willing to stake your life, espouses RSS ideals by making the film’s leading man an RSS follower. What the film doesn’t have is an intelligent story and screenplay to back this up.”Hans India: “The film’s core point is inspiring. The makers have come up with impressive plot around the point that they wanted to tell.

The action sequences are good in the film and the writing is good in parts. The writer in Ravi dominated the director in him.The runtime of the film which is very less is the major advantage for the movie. The second half family scenes are very good and the way SDT compares his family to the country is wonderful. In the process of elevating the hero, the makers forgot to elevate the villain equally. On a whole, the film is worth a watch.”Indian Express: “It begins like a high-concept film with dollops of patriotism but soon reduces itself to serve the image building exercise of Tej. The film has many such loose ends and inconsistencies.

It gets dull and monotonous with Jai’s frequent duets with Mehreen Pirzada. Despite Tej’s best efforts, the film fizzles out.A scene where Jai explains why he would choose his country over his family any given day is one of the few highlights of the film.”
