Hurricane Effect: Large Part of Ocean Goes Missing
Footage from the Hurricane Irma-hit Bahamas freaked out netizens on Saturday as the seawater was completely missing from a bay as far as the eye could see. Weather experts explained that Hurricane Irma, which hit the Bahamas on Friday, was so powerful that it altered the shape of the ocean.
In the video footage shared by a Twitter user from Long Island, Bahamas, a dry ocean bed covered in large shells was clearly seen after Hurricane Irma drained away water on Friday. Meteorologist say that low pressure in the center of the storm caused the seawater to be drawn upwards into itself and away from shorelines in the Bahamas beaches.
Some Twitter users expressed concern over this rare occurrence as receding shoreline that exposes the ocean floor is often a sign of approaching Tsunami.

Interestingly, Shraddha has acted in a number of Bollywood films till date but she hasn’t yet played a dual role in any film. There is no official confirmation on her playing double role in Saaho, but it will surely be hell lot of fun to see her essaying two diverse roles in same film.
JLK Trailer.. Ravana, Rama & Lakshmana
Right from the teasers itself it was pretty much conveyed that Jai character is going to be the backbone of NTR’s ‘Jai Lava Kusa’, and the just released trailer has strengthened that belief.
The trailer of JLK has been unveiled and it has started trending. NTR’s rustic baritone introduces the trailer and reveals the plot in one line – this is the story of three brothers but they are not Rama-Lakshmana-Bharatha but Raavana Rama-Lakshmana.
Moving into the trailer, Jai is a bank manager and Kusa is a thief, and there is a healthy bond between them. There are episodes when Kusa acts as Jai and probably steals money from bank. Situation gets complicate when Jai enters the scene. He somehow seems to have rivalry with his two brothers. There is also a shot which shows the three brothers as stage actors.
The intense dialogues mouthed by NTR as Jai and his terrific dialogue delivery make this ordinarily looking trailer very special. How the director incorporates the stage actors link into main story and why Jai hates his two brothers are the exciting plot points. The last shot showcasing Jai’s evil laugh compensates for the limitations of the trailer.

Reportedly, Naidu asked Union Minister Sujana Chowdary to take the issue to the notice of the Central government and ensure safety and justice to the Telugu students, who were attacked by pro-Kannada groups when they went to Karnataka to write the competitive exams (IBPS, RRB).
Naidu also directed the Chief Secretary of the State to initiate State level talks with the Karnataka government. He added that such attacks on Telugu students will not be tolerated and that he would speak with Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Union Ministers if needed.
Home Minister China Rajappa said that the state government would request the Centre to hold competitive exams for banks and railways in AP itself to avoid such attacks on Telugu students in future.
Acting upon the directions of the CM, AP Chief Secretary Satish Chandra reportedly talked with his Karnataka counterpart over phone and apprised him of the situation. He also requested protection for Telugu students for the exams scheduled in the next two days.
The Kannada organisations allege that the Telugu students have been taking away the jobs of Kannada youth.
