No Effect of Katamarayudu's Failure
All the key persons involved in the making of Katamarayudu were criticized for one or other reasons. But, the most criticized team member is music composer Anup Rubens. Well, it seems that the failure of Katamarayudu and his work couldn’t stop him from signing two crazy projects.
Anup has reportedly been signed by Vikram Kumar for his new film starring Akhil Akkienni. The director has earlier worked with Anup for Ishq and Manam, and the young composer has given hit music for both the films. Hence, Vikram has once again entrusted Anup with the responsibility of giving another hit album for his latest project.
Vikram signing Anup didn’t come as a surprise given their hit collaboration earlier. However, Puri signing him is definitely a shocker. The names of Puri and Balayya itself indicate that it will be a mass entertainer.
Anup was earlier heavily criticized for his work on Katamarayudu, which was also an action entertainer. Neither the so so songs nor the spineless background music of Anup helped the film. Despite this, Puri has roped him in for Balayya’s film. In general, Balayya’s films possess mass songs and thundering background scores.
How Anup manages to do justice to #NBK101 is a moot question.
New Rs 200 notes to be introduced after June
After the demonetization exercise by the government, people across India have confronted with a plethora of difficulties in making change of lesser denominations for Rs. 2000.
Viewing this as a big problem, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has took a step towards it while clearing a proposal to introduce notes of Rs. 200 denomination.
The board of RBI, includes RBI governor Urijit Patel and four deputy governors, has come to this decision at a meeting in the last month, March.
And the process of printing of the bank notes Rs. 200 is likely to start by the RBI after June, only after the government officially approves this denomination.
According to RBI, the currency in circulation was more than thirteen lakh crore rupees, as on 24 March. But the central bank has not revealed the information of the demonetized notes it has got back from the people.
Miss Samantha Joins Her Last Telugu Film
In what could sound like a huge shocker, top heroine Samantha will be working on what could her most likely last Telugu film in the industry as a star lady. Though she will continue acting post marriage also, the type of films she will pick may change.
From today, talented actress Sam will join the shooting of Ram Charan’s latest movie that is being directed by Sukumar. At a specially erected set near the village of Sirivaka, Polavaram Mandal, already Ram Charan has started shooting. Under the choreography of Sekhar master from today, we hear that a song will be canned on Charan and Samantha.
Insiders revealed that after her cameo appearance in Raju Gari Gadhi 2, this is the only Telugu film Samantha has signed so far and the only biggie too. Post the wrapping of this film, she’s in a mood to tie the nuptials with her beau Naga Chaitanya as the couple already got engaged. If marriage happens, then films have to wait for certain time and surely Samantha will not take up glamorous character, a source said.
Earlier Samantha was supposed to work with Ram Charan in movies like Yevadu and Bruce Lee, but she was out of them for reasons unknown.
Sachin Tendulkar's New Innings
After leaving the bat in the cricket ground, Sachin Tendulkar forayed into new innings by making his entry into something which is not in his vicinity. It’s ‘singing’. He makes a debut by sharing vocals for a song with noted singer Sonu Nigam.
In view of promoting his officially launched digital platform application ‘100MB’, Master Blaster has rendered his voice for the song titled ‘Sachin’s Cricketwali Beat’. The song, composed by Shamir Tandon, features the collaboration of Sachin and the exceptional Bollywood playback singer Sonu Nigam.
In a statement, Sachin, says, “Sachin’s Cricketwali Beat is a very upbeat and feel good number. It’s a unique collaboration with the supremely talented Sonu Nigam, specially made for my new app 100MB”. The cricket legend also added, “This is the first time audience going to see me sing and I hope all my fans enjoy listening to it as much as I enjoyed singing it”.
The song released yesterday i.e., 2nd April, which marks the sixth anniversary of India’s World Cup win in 2011. So, Sachin mentioned about every single player he played his world cups with.
By Elections In AP Soon: Jagan
Opposition leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has came down heavily on the ruling TDP for its unethical practices and inducting defected YSRCP MLAs into the cabinet. Jagan Reddy has taken Governor ESL Narasimham’s appointment on Monday and met him and gave him a letter requesting him to take action against the defected MLAs.
Speaking to media after meeting Governor, Jagan said that it’s unfair and unconstitutional to continue MLAs of other parties in the cabinet. He said he would pursue the matter with the President of India and the Election Commission of India. Jagan said he has already asked for the appointment of President and awaiting his reply. Jagan also said he’s trying for PM Narendra Modi’s appointment and complain to him about the undemocratic practice of his ally Chandrababu Naidu.
Jagan said he would not leave the matter and stated that by-elections in AP would be soon and the result would be as per God’s wish. “I will take this up to all the political parties in India. Just because someone has power, that doesn’t mean they could do anything they would like to do. They shouldn’t act like this and attract MLAs from other parties. Tomorrow, this could happen to any other political party in the Opposition. I’ll seek the support of all other political parties in the country as well.” said YS Jagan.
Venkata Sujaya Krishna Ranga Rao (Bobbili), Bhuma Akhila Priya (Allagadda), N. Amarnath Reddy (Palamner) and Ch. Adinarayana Reddy (Jammalamadugu) are the four defected YSRCP MLAs who were inducted into AP cabinet. While Sujaya got Mining Ministry, Akhila Priya was given Tourism Ministry, Amarnath Reddy got Industries Ministry and Adi Narayan Reddy was given Marketing & Cold Storages Ministry.
Baanam Team is Back!
Nara Rohit has given yet another chance to writer-director Chaitanya Dantuluri who had directed his debut Baanam. The film which was also directorial debut for Chaitanya had an average run at the Box Office. But the film managed to garner good reviews and a bit of critical acclaim.
However, Chaitanya took longtime to direct his second directorial and it wasn’t worth the wait. His second directorial Basanti featuring Goutam, son of Brahmanandam, was a dud at the Box Office. Since then, Chaitanya seems to had been struggling and finally he has got some breather with Rohit giving him one more opportunity.
Chaitanya said to have narrated a story to Nara Rohit recently to which the actor has given his nod. Tipped to be a strong story set against political backdrop, Rohit is expected to start working on it once he wraps up his ongoing film with director Pavan.
Meanwhile, Rohit’s two other films two other films Kathalo Rajakumari and Pandagala Vachadu are due for release.
KTR's Reply To AP Youth Tweet
Here’s one such interesting twitter conversation between Telangana IT Minister KT Ramarao and a youth reported to be from Andhra Pradesh. When one one Shiv Kumar Kella had tweeted on Monday asking him to start the TRS in AP as well, KTR has replied to his tweet. While thanking him for his ‘kind comments’, KTR has gently turned down his request.
Shiv Kumar wrote, “@KTRTRS gaaru,we r desperate with political leaders Nd Govt in Andhrapradesh, please start your party In Ap Also,not only in TS.awiting 4u (sic).”
Responding to him, KTR tweeted back, “We have more than enough to do in Telangana brother. Thanks for the kind comments though (sic).”
This come in the wake of there’s a lot of dissent among people of AP over its incumbent TDP. Especially TDP-BJP combine that won elections on the promise of Special Category Status to AP have failed to keep up the promise, there’s a growing disappointment among its people.
However, interestingly, Shiv Kumar received many comments from other AP Youth. One questioned, “Have you travelled in Hyderabad roads yet?”. “cheap tricks for getting RT from celebs. Fight for sake , suggest some region development measures. Help AP,” wrote another. One more commented, “Political scum in AP is correct but welcoming TRS is not apt.”
Gopichand for Rajya Sabha?
Indian Badminton’s chief coach Pullela Gopichand is among the probables of Rajya Sabha MPs in the President’s quota. It’s learnt that both AP CM Chandrababu Naidu and Telangana CM KCR said to have recommended Gopi’s name for the list and President is said to be positive in the issue. If all goes well, Gopi would be nominated for the Upper House in a week.
Although Gopi hails from AP, he’s now resident of Telangana. Henceforth, the nod of both the CMs is mandatory. And both the CMs are said to be on the same boat in the issue.
Gopi’s contribution to the Indian Badminton is outstanding as both of his students Saina Nehwal and PV Sindhu have won Olympic medals for the country. It’s buzzed that Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar too took initiative in recommending Gopi’s name for the post.
Boxer Mary Kom, Cricketer Sachin Tendulkar were already members of Rajya Sabha in the sports category. 12 members are nominated by the President for the term of six years for their contributions to art, literature, science, and social services. Sachin and Rekha’s term would end on April 26, 2018.
