Nayan Upset with False Propaganda!
Following few reports that actress Nayantara wasn’t cooperating to producer of her upcoming Telugu film Babu Bangaram, Nayan has broken her silence and refuted the rumours. Clarifying on them, Nayan said that she has allotted her dates to the film as per the agreement and she shouldn’t be blamed if movie isn’t completed as per the schedule and is delayed.
Reportedly Nayan said that she has given her dates as per the schedule but she added that makers failed to finish the film on time as per the plan. When the makers had approached Nayan again for more dates, after getting convinced, she had given dates for 10 more dates. Apparently, the film wasn’t finished even after this and hence Nayan is said to be miffed. She opined that she shouldn’t be blamed for the delay.
Nayan was quoted as saying that she has been professional and comes to the shoots on time and leaves as per her time. Nayan added that she follows as per the agreement. She has expressed her dissent on false propaganda that she isn’t cooperating to producer.
Starring Venkatesh in the lead, the film is being directed by Maruthi and produced by Naga Vamshi, son of producer S Radha Krishna aka Chinna Babu. Nayan is pairing up with Venky for the third time and if all goes as per the plan, Babu Bangaram would hit the screens by July 29. Given that Kabali too in race (July 22), it needs to be seen when BB makes it to theatres.
Kavitha Stuns By Saying Jai Andhra!
Daughter of Telangana crusader KCR and MP from hardocre Telangana TRS party, Kalvakuntla Kavitha, has surprised one and all by uttering ‘Jai Andhra’. Kavitha, who attended as the guest for TANA (Telugu Association of North America) in Chicago, stunned the gathering by chanting the aforementioned slogan.
Addressing the NRIs at the event, Kavitha gave a call for unity among Telugu-speaking people. “Though we’re separated as two states, we (Telugus) all should live with unity,” Kavitha said in her speech. She added that how Telangana government is giving permissions for industries to set up in the new state in the less time without any delay. Kavitha ended her speech by saying ‘Jai Telangana, Jai Andhra’.
Well, it needs to be seen whether Kavitha has made these comments from the bottom of her heart or was she just playing to the gallery. However, we must admit that Kavitha is a bit better than her father, brother and uncle when it comes to the stand on people of AP.Unlike KCR, KTR & Harish, Kavitha appeared to be a bit soft on Andhra people as in the past too she made such soft statements in support of people of Andhra Pradesh.
KCR, Chandrababu meet in Delhi!
A meeting between Telangana CM KCR and his AP counterpart Chandrababu is likely to be held in a week in New Delhi to break the deadlock on bifurcation of high court.As head of two states Governor ESL Narasimhan has taken initiative to resolve the issue by organising a meeting between two CMs.
Governor spoke to union ministrers as well as supreme Court chief justice to find a solution. On the centre request, Narasimhan asked KCR and NAIDU to agree for a meeting in Delhi. The duo reportedly agreed and the date will be finalised soon.
Telangana advocates JAC launched agitation demanding immediate division of high court last week stalling functioning of all other courts in Telanagana.
AP Tops Most Corrupted States List, But How?
The recent State Investment Potential Index survey conducted by the National Council for Applied Economic Research (NCAER) has left everyone surprised. The survey report saw Andhra Pradesh topping the most corrupted states list among the rest of Indian states, a fact which many can’t fathom.While Gujarat and Delhi were declared the most investment-friendly states in India, Bihar and Jharkhand were termed the worst. On the other hand, Andhra Pradesh took the number one spot for being the most corrupt state for doing business, followed by Tamil Nadu.
The report evolved an index to grade states on five main issues: infrastructure, political stability, economic climate and governance, labour and perceptions of a good business climate.The report contains 2 types of rankings: N-SIPI 21 and N-SIPI 30. While N-SIPI 21 ranks 21 states on the above issues, including through industry surveys, N-SIPI 30 includes all states including the rest of the 9 states not covered by industry surveys and are based on 4 issues, excluding perception.
The report further revealed that corruption is the biggest problem being faced by the business and industrial sector, followed by getting approvals. In Andhra Pradesh, 74.3% of respondents reported corruption as a severe problem in the industrial survey.Now, what left everyone startled in Andhra Pradesh was that there have been no big projects happening in the state. Since the beginning of his new government, CM Chandrababu has been pro-development and welcomed several national and international companies to set up their base in the state.
On the other hand, Babu has also introduced the free sand policy for new constructions. In addition, the land pooling and acquisition for Amaravati construction was done through notifications after the tribunal’s approval.Also, the Pattiseema is a state government projects which was completed without the participation of private sector. With the biometric system being implemented in full force, the corruption should have been drastically reduced and this latest report has certainly left Andhraites puzzled as they are wondering how AP still topped the NCAER’s most corrupted states list.

‘Selfie Raja’ with impressive first look and teaser draws attention from audience and got good response from trade circles as well. Makers are planning to release the film on July 15th. Once Rich Party Is Poorest In Telangana Now
Once Congress was a rich political party in the undivided Andhra Pradesh. After the bifurcation of AP, the main opposition party in Telangana has been reduced to the poorest among other political organizations.The party did not even have funds to organise iftar party to Muslims in the ongoing holy Ramzan month. Whereas all other political parties are busy conducting iftars.
The party leaders have prepared many plans to organise dharnas , rallies and agitation programs against TRS government but no action was done as the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) is facing severe fund crunch.The TPCC President N Uttam Kumar Reddy’s appeal to his party MLAs to contribute from their salaries has also no takers. Senior leaders are also staying from rescuing the party from financial crisis.
With no option left, Reddy requested party high command to come to the rescue of the party by extending monitory help.The rich party in Telangana is ruling TRS, followed by TDP, CPI, CPM, YSR Congress and Lok Satta in Telangana.
Gopichand Signs A Mass Director
Gopichand is on a signing spree. He is already doing a film Oxygen being directed by Jyothi Krishna. The macho hero will soon join hands with director Sriwass for a new film that will hit the floors after the release of his ongoing project Oxygen. Now, Gopichand has agreed to do a film with mass director Sampath Nandi whose last movie Bengal Tiger was an average grosser. Star producer J Pulla Rao will bankroll the project.
Sampath Nandi wanted to make a film with mega power star Ram Charan with whom he previously delivered a decent hit Racha. Although Charan is keen on working with Sampath who narrated him an interesting line story, he told the director to wait for some time, until wrapping up already committed projects. So, Sampath has approached Gopichand with a fresh and mass subject.
On the other hand, Gopichand is going through lean phase. The Loukyam star’s last two films Jil and Soukyam were commercial failures. Official announcement about Gopichand and Sampath Nandi film is expected after Ramzan eve.Meanwhile, Gopichand’s ongoing project Oxygen is nearing completion and the movie is slated for release soon.
Negative Comments On Ileana’s Physic
Slender babe Ileana is bold and beautiful. She openly affirmed to have romantic relationship with Australian cameraman Andrew Kneebone. The starlet in an interview stated that, she had negative feelings about her own physique. Although Ileana was happy, when she was in Tollywood, problems started for her after shifting base to B-Town.
“I used to feel like everybody was commenting me and my physique. I was stressed and spent many sleepless nights. I completely lost self confidence. Then, I finally met a psychiatrist who made me a normal person. Now, I am taking things light, even if someone commenting about my physique directly. This is why because, I started loving my figure.”
Ileana says Andrew loves her however she make-up or dresses up. Nonetheless, the starlet is not in a hurry for marriage. Right now, she is enjoying the company of Andrew with whom she is attending public and private events.It’s been long time, since Ileana acted in a Telugu film. In fact, after almost two years, she has accepted to do a film in Hindi. The film Rustom starring Akshay Kumar is due for release on August 12th. Ileana says she got offers in Telugu and Hindi in the meantime, but nothing impressed her.
Ileana says she is willing to make comeback to Telugu, but is waiting for a good script. However, some say that, Ileana didn’t learn even basics of Telugu language all these years, so Tollywood filmmakers are not keen on roping her in for their films.
