A section of Bollywood media has been reporting that Prabhas has been approached by Yash Raj Films for Dhoom 4.Prabhas has surely gained popularity with Baahubali turning out to be a big hit in Hindi too. He was recently signed up as the national brand ambassador for Mahindra TUV. However a big production house approaching Prabhas for such a successful franchise is debatable.

They can sign up any big Bollywood hero for Dhoom 4. Prabhas may have the charisma and looks to be a part of this franchise, but why would YRF prefer him to other big stars of Bollywood? Then why is this boom about Prabhas starring in Dhoom 4? Filmmaker Aditya Chopra has recently asked for the screening of Baahubali has triggered these rumors.

Prabhas’s endorsements are now being handled by the same company that takes care of Akshay Kumar’s endorsements. Maybe this is a part of the strategy of that company to keep Prabhas in news so that some more brands would come forward to sign him up as the brand ambassador.

Sources from Yash Raj Films have reportedly denied approaching Prabhas for the film. In fact Prabhas is too busy for the next couple years with Baahubali to sign up any movie. Prabhas has plans to do a straight film in Bollywood, but that may not happen in the near future.

Mega Prince Varun Tej’s next has completed its shooting part. The post production works are also happening simultaneously. Earlier the movie was titled Loafer and now the makers are considering to change it as ‘Maa Amma Seetha Maa Lakshmi’.

The official announcement regarding the title change will come very soon. Latest update is that the makers are thinking on the lines of holding up the movie release for couple of months and release it in Sankranthi season.

They are also planning to unveil the audio in the last week of November or in the first half of December and the theatrical release is being planned for 18th December. Posani Krishna Murali and Revathi are playing the parents of Varun Tej in the film.

The actor will be seen as a robber who reforms later. Bollywood model Disha Patani is playing the female lead in the film and it marks her Telugu debut. Sunil Kashyap is the music composer.

In the past, she had done a song for the film… Naa vanti rangu milku, inti peru silku…. So it could be because of the song, Tamanna who played the leading lady, intense publicity or director VV Vinayak, Bellamkonda Suresh’s son’s first film Alludu Seenu became a hit.Now, Bellamkonda is making a second film with his son titled Sudigadu. This time, Bheemineni Srinivasa Rao is making the film and talk is that the film already has acquired good buzz.

Incidentally, the film is based on a Tamil hit and it is said to have done a business of Rs 20 crores already. Now, the talk is that Tamanna will be doing a special song in the film.

Apparently, they have spent Rs 2 crores only on the song and it is being planned as the highlight of the film.

In a major fiasco Akkinenis’ scion Akhil’s Akhil movie was postponed indefinitely from its scheduled release date of October 22, which was also an auspicious day of Dussehra. This resulted anguish among Akkinenis fans and some of them came down heavily in social media expressing their exasperation. The makers have cited the reason for postponement as the delay in VFX work was the instant cause for the movie’s deferment. Afterwards, it was learnt that King Nagarjuna directed the team ‘Akhil’ to rework on a couple of scenes for perfection.

If at all the movie’s shoot gets wrapped up in a lightening pace, the movie can be released on November 11 which falls on the auspicious day of Diwali.

The makers have other choices for release and they are December and Sankranthi season. Audiences have to wait for a long time if the movie gets released in December while the movie has to face the heat of other big movies during Sankranthi season. All in all, fans and movie lovers feel November 11 as the best option the movie to be released so as to avail the benefit of festive season’s collections merely.
