Daughter Of India, Geetha Is Back
After mistakenly straying into Pakistan nearly 15 years ago, the 23-year-old deaf and mute Indian girl Geetha finally stepped in India. However, Geetha failed to recognize her father (Janardhan Mahato) family in person which she recognized in photographs earlier. Officials are conducting a DNA test on Geetha’s family and until then Geetha will be kept in a shelter home in Indore.
Geetha was 8 years old when she got down from the Samjhauta Express and trespassed into Pakistan. She was adopted by Edhi Foundation’s Bilquees Edhi and lived with him in Karachi since then. On her arrival, Geetha met the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who announced Rs. 1 crore cash reward to Edhi Foundation.
Geetha would be handed over to her biological family after the DNA test establishes conclusive proof of Geetha’s parents. Meanwhile, Pakistan’s High Commissioner in India expressed hope that India would release the Pakistan prisoners as a goodwill gesture. Geetha’s story is said to be the main inspiration behind Salman Khan’s blockbuster hit film, Bajrangi Bhaijaan.

As ‘Chithrangada’ is in final post production stages with producers searching for an apt release date, Ashok began to divert the attention on ‘Bhagmathi.’

BJP’s Warning Cooled Down Jagan?
Looks like YSRCP Chief YS Jagan’s desperate plan to counter the TDP government by flagging off a major statewide political movement demanding the special status has been nipped off in the bud by a powerful Delhi honcho. Reportedly, this top national leader called up and lambasted Jagan against any major protests.
Recently, Jagan’s week long hunger strike demanding special status to AP failed to create any ripples in the political circles and even the common people did not to sympathize with Jagan’s efforts. Many felt that Jagan’s show was merely a move to gain political advantage and this fizzed out the YSRCP boss’ spirits and he was looking for other ways to attack Chandrababu’s government.
As a ray of hope for Jagan, PM Modi and Chandrababu Naidu did not promise anything clearly regarding the special status to AP. Jagan planned to capitalize on this failure of Chandrababu but was immediately warned by the Delhi leader against it. Apparently, the top leader even warned Jagan of dire consequences if he continued with this protest plans.

Leaders of the Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) on Monday told the Bihar voters not to cast their vote in favour of the BJP candidates as the party leaders do not have the habit of keeping their poll promises. “Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself has not kept the promise that he had made to residuary Andhra Pradesh during electioneering in the last Lok Sabha polls.
During electineering, he had assured the voters of Andhra Pradesh that special category status and special package will be given to the State if the BJP-led government comes to power at the Centre. Now, the NDA is in power and the ruling party in the State, the TDP, is its alliance partner.
“Modi will give you water from Niagara Falls and soil (mitti) from the United Nations General Assembly instead of giving them the promised special package,” APCC president N Raghuveera Reddy told the gathering.
Raghuveera, along with his team of senior party leaders campaigned during the Maha Gatbandhan in Bihar explaining how Modi had not kept his promise for Andhra Pradesh. They even informed the voters that then Prime Minister Manmohan Singh announced on the floor of Parliament on granting special status to Andhra Pradesh.
“But, when Modi visited the State for Dussera to lay the foundation stone for our new capital, Amaravati, the people there were expecting that he would announce some more sops as the State is reeling under severe financial crisis. Leave alone making any fresh announcements, even the promises already made were not even mentioned in his speech,” the Congress leaders remarked.
Has Naidu Govt Taken Over Agri Gold Property?
It looks like the Chandrababu Naidu government in Andhra Pradesh is keen on acquiring the prime property of tainted Agri Gold Group on the national highway at Guntur, even as the High Court is overseeing the auction of the Agri Gold assets to repay the deposits of customers.According to reports, Naidu is learnt to have asked the officials to convert the premises of Haailand, a resort belonging to Agri Gold on the Vijayawada-Chennai national highway at Chinna Kakani near Mangalagiri in Guntur district, into a make-shift Assembly.
Naidu is said to be keen on using the Haailand premises to hold the next budget session of the AP Assembly. He discussed the matter with Speaker Kodela Sivaprasada Rao on Monday.
In fact, Naidu has come out with a crazy idea of constructing a temporary Assembly building at a cost of Rs 12 crore at Amaravati to conduct the Assembly sessions. However, Kodela is learnt to have advised against such a move, as it is waste of money.
So, the Chief Minister dropped the idea. It was decided to conduct the forthcoming winter session in Hyderabad, but the next budget session would be held at Haailand, Naidu proposed. He even suggested that the Haailand can provide accommodation to all the MLAs.
Though the Chief Minister is operating from Vijayawada for the last few weeks, the bulk of the state administration is still based in Hyderabad, the joint capital of the two states.

Not Just 3, More Parts Confirmed For Baahubali
As we reported earlier, Rajamouli is turning his Baahubali into an Indian Harry Potter with many sequels in the pipeline.Baahubali Part 2 and Part 3 are going to be filmed simultaneously from December and now the latest reports say that the director is planning for three more parts after releasing these two sequels.
As Baahubali collected more than Rs 600 Crs, big corporate companies, film financing companies and banks are offering huge amounts to Baahubali’s franchise. Seeing the craze the movie has generated, his producers have felt it to make an Indian franchise movie on the lines of Harry Potter and to which Rajamouli said okayed.
Rajamouli has already commenced the pre-production work for part 2 and 3 at Ramoji Film city where new sets are being done by production designer Sabu Cyril. Shooting is expected to commence from December. The hero of the film, Prabhas has already hit the gym to build the muscles for the movie as he stopped exercising after his recent shoulder surgery. All the cast and crew will be joining the shooting of Baahubali from December and the part 2 is expected to release in 2017.
Babu’s Tough Time to Stop Him to Amaravati?
According to grapevine, AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu had faced tough time for nearly three hours ahead of the Amaravati foundation laying ceremony. PM Modi, who was the chief guest for the event, reportedly asked AP CM Chandrababu to see to it that Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal won’t be present for the do.
After learning that Chandrababu had invited Delhi CM Kejriwal, PM Modi apparently was upset and informed Mr Naidu to not to ‘entertain’ Kejriwal and insisted Naidu to make sure Kejriwal will not attend to the foundation ceremony of Amaravati.
As soon as Naidu got instructions, he said to have faced tough time as he was puzzled to how to convey it to Delhi CM. After much thought Mr Naidu told Kejriwal over the security issue and politely asked him to drop his plans to come to Amaravati on Oct 22nd.
With Kejriwal convinced with Naidu’s request, the leaders of AP heaved a huge sigh of relief. Had Kejriwal didn’t pay heed to Naidu, it’d have been a difficult situation for Naidu as he’d have faced ire of PM Modi.

‘Raja Cheyyi Vesthe’ is this new or ninth movie title for Rohit to be produced by Sai Korrapati of Varahi Chalana Chithram banner introducing debutant Pradip as director. Well, let us see when these eight plus one flicks will hit the screens.
